The sun was already shining brightly when Seohyun woke up inside her room. She could not remember how she got there. The last thing she remembered was, she was talking to Yonghwa oppa at the living room.

She hurriedly change when she saw it was a quarter to 8 on her clock. She’s going to be late for work

She was climbing down the stairs when she saw Yonghwa eating breakfast and still in his PJs. So obviously, he does not have to go to the office for the day, because if he is.. then he wouldn’t be here in the first place.

“Good morning” she greeted him with a smile

He smiled back at her “Good morning, sleepyhead”

“I’m sorry about last night. I doze off on you. I guess, I was more tired than I thought.” she apologized

“That’s alright. You’re not that heavy to carry”

“You mean, you carried me all the way to my room?” she said with widened eyes

“Who else? Ajhuma? She might break her bones if she did” he teased “Besides, I enjoyed it” he gave her a mischievous wink

“I bet you did” she snorted and suppressed a grin.

“By the way, I don’t have to go to the office today. I’ll send you to your office and fetch you later”

“Oh? Sure” she accepted without second thoughts

At the office,  she felt the ticking of the clock was so slow she almost wanted to manually turn the time. The only highlight of her day was when she visited Chunsa at the hospital. She was glad she’s okay and made sure that all the paper works on was taken care of. So that Chunsa has a place to go (Social Welfare Center) after discharge

At exactly 5pm, she’s ready to go home.

“Seohyun-ah” she heard somebody called her

“Yes, I’m ready to…” she was surprised to see Chanyeol “Chanyeol-ah, y-you’re here..” her voice slightly trembled

“I have a meeting around here, so I decided to drop by and fetch you. Annyeong Dara” he waived at the girl who was staring at them for a while

“A-annyeong” she responded meekly. And then turned around and left.

Leaving the two of them behind “We need to talk” she started with a serious tone

She needed to tell him her true feelings. They were long-time friends before they started dating. Even if their relationship won’t work out, at least, she wanted to save the friendship.

“Wait, this sounds serious. Can we do this over snacks? I’m starving” he replied with a happy tone. He seemed to be in a good mood and it made her guiltier as it is.

“Huh? Ahmm…”

“We’ve already made plans” they heard a stiff voice coming from the entrance 

And she does not need to look at the person to know who said it.

“What?” Chanyeol’s eyebrows furrowed after he glanced at Yonghwa’s angry face

“Uh… Y-yonghwa oppa and I need to go somewhere. You did not tell me you’d come here today so I m-made plans with him” she was stammering as she reasoned

She does not want to break up with Chanyeol that way. She wanted to go separate ways in a good light. And she knew it’s not going to happen if Yonghwa is with them, so she wanted to talk to him.. just the two of them alone.

She could not look at him straight in the eye
