Seohyun woke up to the sound of chirping birds, usually she liked the nature’s sounds but today she scrunched up her nose in irritation as if it was the most annoying noise she ever heard! She scratched her head before going to the bathroom to shower, She must be at the agency early today as it was the D-Day it will be her first fashion show held in Seoul, she had no heart to wear pretty dresses, and walk gracefully on the catwalk with her current mood, let alone how much she has to smile for the sake of the show, did she look like she can do all of that smoothly? “Arasseo! I’ll try unnie” Joohyun assured the elder as she went to check the other girls, when Yoona one of the Models walked up to her

“Joohyun-ah! How are you?” Yoona smiled widely

“I’m nervous, not for the show, but my new boyfriend is coming to watch me! I even gave him The VIP invitation that the agency gave to us! How about you did you invite someone special?” Yoona explained excitedly

Ah no, I’m Kind of a Loner hehehe I have no friends here and my only friend is Changmin sunbae, I don’t have to invite him since he will come anyway” Joohyun reasoned in a sad tone that Yoona didn’t catch up, she wished she could invite her Yong-Yong oppa! But first he won’t leave work for a fashion show, he’s a busy person for god’s sake, and second, as much as she hates to admit it, yonghwa doesn’t really care about her!

{At Seoul University Hospital}

Yonghwa walked through the hallways of the hospital, heading to the department of Pediatrics, as he arrived to the assigned room he entered it to be greeted by the sight of Lee Sun Woo The 9 years old Boy that he’s supposed to perform a surgery on, today

“Dr Jung!” Sun Woo exclaimed happily

“Hey buddy! How are you today?” yonghwa smiled at him and ruffled his hair before taking his file to check some details

“I’m preparing myself for the surgery” Sun Woo smiled

“whoa! You must be a strong man huh? You aren’t scared of the surgery I suppose” yonghwa praised him

“Will it be too painful?” the little boy asked

“Just a tiny bit but then you will heal fast” yonghwa assured

“Then I’m not scared, I’m not a cry baby to begin with , besides, they told me that Dr Jung is the best surgeon in this Hospital, so I trust you! And I know you will save my life”

“I’ll do my best! Thank you for cooperating with us and trusting us” Yonghwa said amazed with how mature Sun Woo Was thinking!

Jae Hee came and joined them! She exchanged some smiles with yonghwa

“Good then! Shall we go?!” she asked and Sun woo looked at yonghwa, somehow scared, he’s still a child right? There must be some insecurities, Yonghwa nodded at him encouragingly, so he nodded at Jae Hee who came and took off the Heart monitors and connected machines and started pushing the bed towards the Operating room

The Surgical crews were all ready in the operating room wrapped in their sterilized scrubs

The anesthesiologist injected the sedative in his IV Bottle, and then put the mask over his Mouth to fully put him under sedation effect

Sun Woo’s eyes were slowly closing up, and then the anesthesiologist told them that they can start with the procedure

The operation was going smoothly when the heart monitor start beeping

“Dr Jung! The pulse rate is decreasing” the nurse exclaimed

“Inject 60ml of magnesium” Yonghwa instructed

“De” Jonghyun the first assistant did it,

“Dr jung the pulse keeps on decreasing! We’re losing the patient” the nurse said panickly

“what’s wrong here” yonghwa said as he checked the vitals, and then his eyes widened as he checked the heart rates

“He’s got an acute internal bleeding in the Left ventricle of his heart” yonghwa exclaimed

“But we haven’t even touched the valves” Jae Hee said

“It didn’t occur throughout the surgery Jae Hee-ssi! The bleeding happened before the surgery!” Yonghwa Said

“But it’s not in the data” the nurse said

“Jonghyun-ssi! It was your duty to check the ventricular cycle and the valves functioning” Jae Hee said calmly

“T-That! I, I-I … Dr Jung I-” Jonghyun was panicking as he forgot to do it!

“You forgot right? Jonghyun-ssi you know such mistakes shouldn’t be done! You know how sensitive this surgery is!” Yonghwa raised his voice

“Dr Jung i-im sorry” jonghyun lowered his head

“Leave this room immediately! I can’t work with a careless assistant” Yonghwa said with a tone full of authority

“Dr Jung! But he’s the first assistant! We can’t continue without him” Jae Hee Said

“Did he look like someone who can continue? We can’t afford another mistake! Just Leave Jonghyun-ssi” yonghwa glared at him and the poor doctor left

“Let’s continue!” Yonghwa shouted at the stunned crew! And they immediately got their attention back on the patient

“Suction!” Yonghwa commanded and the nurse handed it to him! He made a second degree opening to get access to the left ventricle and out all the blood gathering there! Suturing it all up, the pulse rate was coming back to normal again, they all sighed in relief, and they continued with their procedure! It was a success, by 78%, if not for the mistake that Dr Lee jonghyun made they would’ve made it to 92% as a success percentage!

Finishing up everything he Left another assistant to stitch up the opening, yonghwa left the operating room! Assured his parents that Sun Woo was perfectly fine, and they could see him as soon as he wakes up
