I looked around, amber eyes piercing anyone that dared to look at me.  I leaned against my chair in my Biology class, eyes wandering

to the window on my left, arms crossed, trying to ignore the steady drone of the teacher's voice. I stared at the cars as they went by, or

rather, crawled by to me. I see everything a lot clearer than humans do, my eyes much sharper, as my brain is much stronger than any

human. I heard the bell ringing before anyone else did, a small whine, and I grabbed my backpack and got up, just as the bell actually

started ringing loud enough for the humans to hear. I pushed open the door and made my way down the hallway. My footsteps were

silent on the floor, moving with the grace of an athlete, or in my case, of a wolf.

      I could see people stare at me as I walked by. My peripheral vision is wider than a normal human's, and I'm able to see things going

on around me without having to move my eyes much. I pushed open the doors of the building to step into the sunlight. I felt the warm

sunlight on my face, soaking it in. I could smell the food being made in the cafeteria, burritos and potatoes, and all sorts of other foods. I

made my way towards my favorite spot, underneath a small willow tree where not many people were around. Then, I saw her. A small,

slight  girl. She was leaning against my favorite tree, her eyes closed, face thrown into mottled light and shadow. She was pretty to say

the  least. Her thin legs were stretched out, one arm on her stomach, the other on her leg. Her lips were parted slightly, and I could hear

her soft, even breathing. Her eyes that were closed showed long dark lashes, her hair a cascade of black hair, glinting in the sunlight as

the breeze gently moved it. That was when I smelled her. She smelled so sweet, like candy, a mixture of strawberries and vanilla. I shook

my head, what was I thinking? People were staring at her too, especially the human boys, t
