They were seated in a fine fast food chain that was the most popular; McDonald’s. It was wild and noisy, just like the four of them. Sehun and Chanyeol were chattering animatedly about some new drama that really, no one else knew about while Jongin was talking to -trying to talk to Baekhyun. 

“What’s your name? I’m Jongin.”
“Baekhyun.

An awkward silence passed.

“What type of movies do you like?”

“I don’t watch movies.”

Another awkward silence passed as Jongin nodded his head.

“So what’s your department?”

“I’m in music.”

That caught Chanyeol’s attention.

“WHAT? You can’t be my roommate and be in the same department as me! That’s just absolutely and freakishly crazy!”

Everyone ignored him and he was left to boil in rage in his own seat.

“Oh, so do you play instruments?”

“I sing. And play the piano? It’s really not that great.”

Chanyeol scoffed. Everyone ignored him again. The table fell into a tense and awkward silence that only Baekhyun could appreciate. He swung his legs back and forth while staring at the other customers. Sehun cleared his throat.

“You do know that we have been sitting here, doing absolutely nothing for twenty minutes, right? If you guys don’t have a suggestion, I do. It’s called ‘queueing up to buy food’.” With that, Sehun stood up with a bored and upset face, having grumbled about his empty stomach on the way. The other three stood up and were about to leave the table when Chanyeol basically ordered Baekhyun to sit. “Shortie, sit. The table’s gonna get taken and Sehun’s already pissed so be a good puppy.” Baekhyun huffe
