“Chanyeol! Oh my god Chanyeol” Yura screams on the phone and Chanyeol thought his eardrums gave up on him. “I’m so excited! Exo is coming to Los Angeles! I can finally meet them!! Especially D.O! He’s my favorite! MY BIAS!”

“Can we please talk without screaming noona? And why are you freaking out? They are normal dudes who wear flashy pants. Ugh talking about them already makes me want to hang myself.” Chanyeol wasn’t always this mean- he turned like this because of Yura since she doesn’t shut up about Exo.

“Shut up Chanyeol!”

“Especially your D.O. I think he’s the worst. I wish he shows up at my apartment so I can give him a slap across his stupid face.”

“Park Chanyeol!!” and that’s when Chanyeol received a lecture from his sister about his mouth and being rude. He hangs up on her and walks to his room. Living in Los Angeles is pretty fun and he’s been here since he was a child. He thought his sister would be over that Kpop stuff since they don’t even live in Korea, but you can’t take the fangirl out of her.

He was about to take a shower but when he sees a small boy in his room he screams his lungs out. “AHHHHHHHHHH! What are you doing here you little freak!” Chanyeol was about to take his broom and kick out the boy but when he sees the boy’s face he stops- the small boy looks familiar. Like he’s been on Yura’s wall.

“I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!” the boy shakes as he approaches Chanyeol, “I really don’t know what I’m doing here. I’m so sorry.” He bows countless times but then he stops and his eyes widen, “you’re Korean too? Can you please help me get back to Korea? I have a fan meeting in a couple of hours.”

“No. Who the do you think I am? I ain’t a chauffeur” Chanyeol scoffs.

“D…Do you know who I am? I’m-”

“You’re from Exo. Of course I know because I hate them.”

A frown escapes the small boy’s face and Chanyeol has to admit- he’s much cuter in person. But he still hates Exo. Especially D.O. Wait till Yura hears about this.

The small boy looks around the apartment, even outside the window before he turns back to Chanyeol, “we are in Los Angeles right?”

“Yes. And I need to know why the you are in my apartment.”

“I don’t know either. I was getting ready for practice and I took a nap in the van. Then when I woke up…I’m in your apartment. Can you please help me back?” his face was adorable, especially when he looks so innocent with those huge eyes.

“Why should I help you back? I already told you. I hate Exo. As a matter of fact my wish was so you show up and I can slap you.” Chanyeol didn’t realize how harsh he sounded until he saw the defeat look in the small boy’s face.

The smaller boy gives Chanyeol a faint smile as he looks across the room. “I’m sorry for showing up in your place unexpectedly. I…I’ll leave.” Even though he has no idea where he’s going, he knows he’s not invited into this guy’s apartment. Kyungsoo finds the door as he gets out of the apartment and walks down the stairs.

Chanyeol runs towards the window and looks outside to see the boy look around not knowing where to go. Technically he is a foreigner so he would be lost in a place like Los Angeles. Chanyeol didn’t know what came over him as he gets out of his apartment and runs rapidly down the stairs. “Wait D.O!” Chanyeol screams and chases the smaller boy. He grabs his hand and pulls him back from walking further. Chanyeol has never seen someone look so helpless, like an abandoned puppy. “Don’t be stupid and walk around like that. You could get mugged by gangsters or come across some crazy fangirl.”

“I don’t think I have many fans-”

“You do. Ugh it pains me to say this but just stay at my place for now.”

The smile that the smaller boy shows is a smile of a thousand suns. “Thank you so much! Thank you!” He jumps and wraps his arms around Chanyeol’s waist. Chanyeol hasn’t been back to Korea since he’s moved here so he wasn’t sure if guys are supposed to be this close with each other. Chanyeol wanted to push the guy away but the hug was too tight.

On the way back to Chanyeol’s apartment, the boy gives Chanyeol a smile. “I thought you didn’t like Exo. How did you know my name is D.O?”

“My sister is obsessed with you. But damn you’re short.”

“Thanks….” He says sarcastically. “My name is Kyungsoo by the way.”

“Whatever shortie”

Kyungsoo pouts and follows the taller guy. “What’s your name?”

“Chanyeol”

“How old are you?”

“23”

“Why is your Korean so good?”

“I talk to my parents and sister in Korean.”

“Do you like kpop?”

“It’s ok. I don’t like Exo.”

“Why don’t you like Exo?”

“Shut up Kyungsoo”

“Sorry…”
