Baekhyun, Jongdae and Jongin all had a deer in the headlights expression while listening to Chanyeol tell them his story. How he met Kyungsoo and what has been going on. Baekhyun was slightly offended that he was not told of this story and had to barge in to get the story straight.

“First off, I didn’t even know you were gay?” Jongdae gasp but then stands up and approaches Kyungsoo who seems to be backing away, “secondly I’m a huge fan of Exo!”

“What the . You talked about them before” Chanyeol says in his defense. None of his friends liked Exo and he was sure of it.

“We talked to join you since you were so into hating on them. I never cared much.” Jongin shrugs his shoulder. “But you acted like some crazy netizen.”

Jongdae was trying to shake Kyungsoo’s hands and Kyungsoo smiles cutely.

“I didn’t think I was gay either” Chanyeol groans, “I swear when Soo came into my life nothing has been easily defined.” It was a serious statement. Kyungsoo has changed a lot of his daily routine and now he feels like he’s stuck to the smaller.

“You’re lucky gay marriage is legal here.” Baekhyun says with a laugh. All of them were in the younger generation phase and no one really cared much about those old traditional ways. They’re just happy with the fact that their best friend found someone- a hallyu star to be exact.

Kyungsoo holds on Chanyeol’s arm and Chanyeol couldn’t help but coo over how cute Kyungsoo is. It was a good environment until Jongin speaks up. “Exo is having their concert here soon. My sister is going. Are you going back to perform with them?”

Maybe attraction isn’t fun and games and both sides have to take a look back at reality. Kyungsoo is a global star and all of Korea is looking for him. Chanyeol can’t take him away. He would be taking away Kyungsoo’s dreams that the boy probably worked hard for.

Kyungsoo looks at Chanyeol and they were both thinking the same thing. How could a relationship happen? They were like from two separate worlds.

“It’s seaworld. It’s a huge place. No one is going to recognize him.” Baekhyun tries to get Chanyeol to lighten up because Chanyeol has been holding Kyungsoo so tight to him like someone will snatch the petite boy away.

“Exo has international fans also. They are globally known.” Chanyeol replies in his defense.

“Now you stand up for them.” Jongin jokes, “last time I remember you called D.O the ugliest and that SM bought all of Exo fans.”

Kyungsoo looks at Chanyeol with a pout and all the guys started laughing. The small kid was pretty cute. He doesn’t seem like a celebrity at all. He was normal- like them.

“Baby I was only like that cause my sister was so obsessed with you. You are not the ugliest. Heck, you are the cutest and squishiest.”

“I don’t want to be cute…”

“Too bad. You are.” Chanyeol kisses his nose and Jongdae whines in disgust. Like they are not quite used to public affection yet. Especially coming from Chanyeol.

They had a lot of fun at seaworld. Kyungsoo got to meet a lot of dolphins and took pictures with them. Everyone was starting to have ease until a couple of girls kept staring at them.

“D.O? Oh my god it’s D.O” they pointed and rush to Kyungsoo who hides behind Chanyeol. Kyungsoo’s English wasn’t that good yet so he didn’t understand what Chanyeol was trying to tell them. He grips on Chanyeol’s shirt from behind to show how afraid he was. Chanyeol couldn’t help but think that Kyungsoo is like a koala- super clingy but adorable.

“I want a picture with him. We all love Exo” the girls were definitely attracting a lot of attention causing many other people to rush over to them. They had their phones out trying to take pictures. Chanyeol and his friends couldn’t even block Kyungsoo because they were surrounding them.

“Stop it. He doesn’t want his image circulating the net. He wants to have a break.” Chanyeol yells at them but it seems like they were all acting like they did not understand his request.

Kyungsoo could only guess that Chanyeol was mad from the look of his red ears. He felt terrible that he is troubling Chanyeol’s friends like this. They just wanted some relaxing time and Kyungsoo had to ruin it all. He looks as they get closer to Chanyeol and Chanyeol has to hold Kyungsoo’s arm from behind to assure him it would be ok.

If these images get on the Internet, Exo will arrive here faster and get him. He will see his manager and s earlier. The downfall would be getting a scold from their CEO for disappearing because he took a random vacation.

“Break it up” security from the park got in between them and asked all the fans to leave Kyungsoo alone. They didn’t want to listen but they had no other choice because of the look on the security face.

Once everyone was gone, Chanyeol turns to Kyungsoo and sees the boy show him a faint smile. “Are you ok? You’re sweating so much” Chanyeol takes a tissue from his pocket and wipes Kyungsoo’s face.

Kyungsoo looks at Chanyeol who looks at him with a concerned look. It was strange because at first Chanyeol was so disgusted with him. Now it seems like Chanyeol really cared for him. “I’m ok” Kyungsoo shoots him a bright smile. “Thank you”

Seaworld ended early that day. Even when they left the park, some fans decided it was a good idea to chase after them even into the parking lot. Good thing Chanyeol had a car and drove away.

“Exo popularity is no joke.” Chanyeol laughs to ease Kyungsoo from the horror that just happened. The boy doesn’t seem to do well with stalker fans.

“I totally don’t want to be famous anymore.” Baekhyun says while trying to breathe, “those girls know how to run.”

“Some boys too” Jongdae adds while catching his breath, “look at you Soo. Getting girls and boys left to right.”

“Shut up or I’ll dump you 3 out.” Chanyeol threatens, “Kyungsoo is mine.”

“Possessive aren’t we?” Jongin scoffs, “what happened to that angry netizen who always called Kyungsoo ugly and that plastic surgery didn’t even help him.”

“Hey!” Kyungsoo whines from the passenger seat, “you really said a lot of stuff about me. Everyone has anti-fans but I didn’t expect the one I like is mine.”

Chanyeol holds Kyungsoo’s hand in one hand, while his other hand holds the steering wheel. He squeezes Kyungsoo’s hand harder and laughs, “it was so much being a troll though. But now I take it back, you’re beautiful. Lee Hyori don’t even look as good as you.”

Kyungsoo knows Chanyeol is joking and he laughs, “you’re a dork.”

“And you’re a cutie pattotie.”

Baekhyun rolls his eyes, “please turn up the music. You two are giving me a headache.”

Chanyeol turns up the music from his iphone and Kyungsoo solo “tell me what is love” plays.

“No. Don’t play my song! I’m so embarrassed.” Kyungsoo kicks his foot. He hated hearing his own voice, especially now that it’s playing in the car and everyone has to hear it.

“I had to download it because an angel sang it.”

Jongin looks outside the window, “at times like this I wish I didn’t understand Korean.”

Later that night when they were back home, Kyungsoo sits by himself while watching some movie on Netflix. He didn’t understand English that well so he just stares at the visual effects. Chanyeol was getting the popcorn ready and when he turns to look at Kyungsoo, a smile escape his lips. He didn’t understand why he didn’t see it before but everything about the smaller is so adorable. The way his big eyes concentrates on the television even though he has no idea what was going on, that’s probably what made him so cute.

“Here baby” Chanyeol gives him the bowl of popcorn and Kyungsoo smiles.

“Thank you”

“What’s happening?” Chanyeol directs his gaze to the television.

“I don’t know…I think they are fighting.” Kyungsoo answers.

“You looked so interested I thought you knew what was going on” Chanyeol shoves Kyungsoo’s head playfully.

“I don’t understand English.” Kyungsoo pouts. Then he leans his head on Chanyeol’s shoulder. “This is fun. I always wanted to do this with someone. Spend time together and cherish one another. Being a celebrity is fun but I miss having privacy. To go on dates and have someone care for me…”

Chanyeol pause the movie and turns to Kyungsoo. “Are you going to go back?” his voice was hopeful even though he has no hope. He knew this conversation will eventually come up and even though he wanted to avoid it, it is impossible.

“I…I have a contract” Kyungsoo says sadly.

Chanyeol gets up from the couch and turns away from Kyungsoo. He wanted to look anywhere but at Kyungsoo. “Chan-” Kyungsoo holds on Chanyeol’s arm but Chanyeol yanked away.

“You come into my life, made me fall for you. Now you’re just going to leave? South Korea to America isn’t a close distance.” Chanyeol couldn’t hide the anger in his voice. At first he didn’t want to be selfish. He wanted Kyungsoo to go after his dreams but now he just wants Kyungsoo by his side.

“I-” Kyungsoo starts off but then he didn’t know what to say. Tears were beginning to form in his eyes.

“You drive me crazy Kyungsoo.”

Suddenly there was a knock on the apartment. Chanyeol found it strange because his family doesn’t visit him this late. If it were his friends, they wouldn’t be that polite and knocked either.

Chanyeol opens the door and two guys stands there. One looks older than the other.  

“Do I know you?” Chanyeol asks but then he hears Kyungsoo scream from behind.

“Kim manager! Seunghoon hyung!” Kyungsoo jumps at them and gives them both a big hug. They hugged the smaller back and ruffle his hair.

“We were worried sick about you” Manger Kim scolds, “you have to come back with us ASAP.”
