Police sirens filled the air around with the stench of rotting corpse.

“Sir, sir! Do you guys have any idea who did this?” “I thought the criminal has been caught?” “Do you have any extra information about this murder this time?” “Who is the victim!”

The reporters crowded around the caution tape put around to cut off the crime scene.

He sighed and looked down at the dead body, “This is the 5^th murder this month. All dead in the same way…” he muttered to himself, shaking his head.

“Sir, this is note found beside the dead body” An officer walked up to him, passing him a note.

Another note? Every single murder a note had been found, what is it this time. He looked down at the note, as if realizing something; he started rummaging through the pockets of his coat, taking out 4 other note.

The fifth one had been signed off as the Puppet master. Who is this puppet master? What game? Did this psycho think all this killing is a game?! This is sick… and wrong. He thought as he looked down, taking a glance at the dead body again, he sighed, praying silently for the victim.

-Elsewhere in the headquarters of S.C.I-

The whole office was empty, except for the office of the head of S.C.I. 6 people have congregated inside the office, currently in a heated discussion.

“NO. Absolutely no!” Jake said as he slammed his hand down on Eric’s table.

“Hey, Jake, chill man. It has not been decided yet.” Alex patted Jake’s shoulder.

“It has been decided.” Eric said calmly, looking up at Jake in the eyes, “It must be them who take charge of this case.”

Jake looked back, thinking hard of what to rebut to change his mind.

“Unless… you think they are incapable of taking on such a huge case? That they are not suited.” Eric said, Jake widened his eyes. “If you think they are not good enough for it, sure. I will take them off.”

Of course they are suited, they were the team he trained specially, picked out from everyone, the best of the best. Eric had played his card right, he know he will let them take over the case. “I will inform them of the case.” He replied his voice devoid of any emotion, not that Eric cared – he only cared about getting every work done.

With that said, he walked out of the office, slamming the door behind him. Taking out his cell phone, he sighed and dial in the number.

“Get the S1 kids to my office this Monday. They got a new case.” He said into the phone to Ms Han, his secretary, before setting off to his car and driving into the night.
