Looking at my pending paper works, I let out a huge sigh as I sat down and get started to it. After a long conversation about school life, Lu Han and I decided to get going so we could finish with our tasks a little earlier. Of course, he did insist on taking me home but I was quick to decline to prevent rumors from spreading like a wildfire. You know how it will spread and the next thing I know, I’d be the number one target of the bullies again. I wouldn’t want that.

I looked at the problems in my math paper work and groaned to myself. Seriously, all I need in my life is the basics of math and I’m done. I don’t plan on taking a course that involves numbers. Actually, I’m thinking of taking a literature course because for the past months, I’ve been very fond of books and stories and I’ve taken a liking on writing random articles and reviews. If only I wasn’t very busy enough from loathing such cruel people, I would’ve done more productive things in my life.

Time flew by so fast that when I looked outside, it was already dark and I’ve skipped mom’s prepared afternoon snacks. The only time I got up was when I had to go to the bathroom and when I need water to dehydrate myself since paper works are pretty exhausting. By the time I was done with science, I then stood up and decided that I need to feed myself before I finish the last one. I smiled to myself, feeling the achievement swallowing me whole. At least I wouldn’t have to spend my Sunday locked in my room and regretting about not doing the assigned works earlier.

I made my way to the dining room and was surprised with the multiple special dishes mom prepared for our Saturday night but I was even more surprised to find that it was already 8 in the evening and I’ve stayed longer than I thought. Mom sorted out the dishes as dad who just got home helped prepare the meals for us. Eunjin and I were only sharing stories about school and would crack up jokes from time to time before then mom and dad would join our fun. Saturdays are always like this and that’s why I’ve always looked forward to it every week. Also, Saturday often means movie night and pizza and so that would mean I really have to rush my last paper work so I could join them later.

By the time I finished and got inside my room, I noticed my phone on the bed lit up.
