Chapter 20
Polyamorous relationship"She looked at him from afar to the table across her.. Jiyong and Taeyeon with Jiyong's mates having lunch in one table.. It's been a week that Jiyong finally looks.. normal. That he's finally showing up during lunch breaks and classes.. and where ever he goes, there's Taeyeon.. Even in the library, as this week was final week, most students study in the library. Every time Dara goes to the library, they were right there in front of her, studying together.. It was like everyone is testing her to her limits.. although, there isn't any official statement from Jiyong himself and Taeyeon herself that they are both dating, rumors have been spreading a lot around the school that the two are indeed dating... She was glad that Jiyong at least looks happy.. that he finally laughs and smiles now.. compared to weeks ago..
AJust then.. Jiyong looked up and their eyes met momentarily. Dara looked away immediately and she blushed upon being caught staring at them.. It's as if being caught stealing candies.. When she looked up once again, to her surprise, Jiyong was still looking at her. His stares.. It was unexplainable.. His eyes were still fixed on Dara.. Dara gasped when she looked at him.. It was as if he wasn't happy at all.. That he may look happy from the outside.. but when you looked within, deep inside he wasn't.. She was always able to read right through him, but now she wonders if she reads him wrong.. that he couldn't be possibly be unhappy with her.. 'Its impossible. you should be happy' She thought...
After minutes of intense staring competition between them, Dara finally looked away again, started packing her stuffs and excused herself from her friends and left.. without finishing her food.. "Dara! Where are you going?" Bom called out, but Dara ignored and left.. She went to the school's playground.. It was suffocating her to be in the same room with him, to see him being with other girl.. It was like history repeating itself.. It was just like when they were in an open relationship all over again.. It was just too much.. too much.. Her final paper is tomorrow.. and next week is graduation.. She just can't wait to start anew.. to leave this bittersweet memories behind.. and maybe.. just maybe she can finally move on.. just like he did..

Suffocating. Suffocating. Suffocating. The one word Dara kept repeating ever since she got back from school. Her attempts to study for tomorrow's paper wasn't working.. She's been studying too much these days that she couldn't remember taking a break.. She took out her jacket from her closet and heads outside..
It was a cold night.. but it's pretty nice compared to the room, sitting for hours reading and studying the same thing all over again.. She just walked and walked.. She didn't realise where her feet was dragging her.. the next thing she knows is that she was at the market in her neighborhood.. Flashes of memories came to her mind.. She remembers how she and Jiyong used to come here a lot.. They would just walk, buy fish cakes while they talk and talk and talk.. Sometimes, she wished they would just stay best friends.. sometimes she wished she never agreed with the idea of an open relationship... for maybe.. they would still be okay.. that maybe they would still be talking to each other like old times..
It was her selfishness of wanting to feel how it's like to be in a relationship with Jiyong made her do it.. It took her long enough that it was all a stupid idea... that it was her fault that they became like this.. "Agasshi.. Fish cakes?" An ahjumma offers fish cakes and she broke her thoughts.. She was about to say when she realises she didn't bring her wallet.. "Oh.. Ahjumma.. Oteokke? I woud love to.. But I went out without bringing my wallet.." She said guiltily.. That Ahjumma lo
