Epilogue
Fate: The First MeetingA month had passed since those incidents.
Been admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with anaemia, the nightmares, the series of fainting at the café, and the heart-breaking news about Taehyun.
Nam Taehyun.
It felt surreal for Seungyoon that he was the only one who had the memories of that boy.
No one, even Seunghoon and other staff at the café, remembered him.
Seungyoon had been thinking hard to himself all this while.
Is it just a mere dream?
Or an imagination on how I wanted to live my life?
Even after all those searching and digging into the things that happened for the past few months, he couldn’t find an answer for that.
For him, there were more questions than answers.
At times, Seungyoon thought he was going cuckoo and would be locked up in an asylum for the mentally ill.
At times, he thought that it might be a conspiracy made by his enemies just to take him down.
But all of these were nonsense.
I know myself better than anyone else.
I know that I’m not crazy and Taehyun wasn’t only my mere imagination.
I know that he existed and we had shared some memories together.
And I know that none of my friends or families were lying to me.
I just need to prove that everything that happened was real.
It was not just a hallucination.
It was not just an illusion that I’ve created inside my mind.
It was all real.
But maybe it was our fate – to meet and separate as we go on with our lives.
It might be our destiny.
We got nowhere to run and we can’t even hide from it as it was all God’s plan.
Whether it was bad or good, just accept it – as everything happened for a reason.
