It was 2 am when suddenly Jiyong’s phone ringing. He grumbles as he ruffled his hair. He woke up and walked to his desk. He check the caller id and it was TOP hyung. He ruffled his hair again because it was hard for him to fall asleep again. Since childhood, he has insomnia because of what happen to him 14 years ago. It still leave a trace in his heart.

{flashback}

It was midnight and Jiyong was sleeping. He slept peacefully when suddenly he heard a loud noise come from his parents room. He woke up and walked to the door to open the door knob. He walked tiptoeing while hug his big teddy bear. He went near his parents room and heard their conversation.

‘I don’t want her. She is such a troublesome and she can’t make money like Jiyong did’

‘So what do you want? You want to take Jiyong and leave Minzy to me?’

‘Yes’

‘Don’t you dare. I want to ask you now, do you love Jiyong?’

‘Simply no. But if he can make money for me than I- ........ Jiyong? Minzy? What are you doing here?’

Mr and Mrs. Kwon heard Minzy gasped from afar. She is only 3 years old but she already know that their parents don’t want her. She ran from home and Jiyong followed her. But she run really fast until a truck come towards her. She didn’t avoid it while tears streamed down to her little face. Jiyong want to save her but she refused it and push Jiyong to the side of the road. Jiyong ran to her and keep shaking Minzy shoulder while embrace her in his arms. Blood keep coming from Minzy head. “Oppa.”  Minzy said as her eyes keep opened and then closed again. “Yes, Minzy ah. Don’t be afraid. Oppa is here and the ambulance will arrived soon too” said Jiyong holding back his tears. “Minzy ah! Jiyong!! Where are you two?” Mr and Mrs. Kwon kept shouting their name. “It’s okay oppa. I don’t need them too because I will die anyway. I just want to say take care of eomma and appa because I love them even if they didn’t. And I love you too oppa. I really love you so much. Thank you for being the only one that love me” Said Minzy. Their parents arrived and heard all of the words that Minzy said. Mrs. Kwon kneeling and want to touch Minzy but Jiyong slapped her hand. “Don’t you dare. You are not our parents anymore.” said Jiyong coldly. “Yes and I love you too but- ........ Minzy? Minzy??? Minzyyyyy ahhh!!! Don’t leave me. Please don’t die. Pleaseee!!” Jiyong continued to say that but it was too late. He already losed her sister. He kept shouting her name and then his parents want to embrace him but he push them again. “It was all because of your fault. I don’t want too see you two anymore. From now, you are not my parents anymore and I don’t want to see you two again. Get lost and don’t you ever appear in front of me or in my life anymore!!” Jiyong shouted and carried Minzy to the ambulance and then went to the hospital. {end of flashback}

He remembered again that moment and then he wiped his tears. And then he picked up his phone.

Jiyong POV:

I wiped my tears harshly. I wish it was me who died that night. I wish I can save her. I wish she was here and stay by my side. I miss her. I miss every moments that I spent with her and I know without Taeyeon, I can’t move on from my past. Yes, even if she didn’t know about my sister or my past, she still stay by my side. Cheering me every moment and help me to move on. I feel so thankful to her and I promise to protect her from anything.

I grabbed my phone and dial again Top hyung number. At the second ring he already answer the phone again.

‘ya Jiyong. Why do you pick it up so late?’

‘Sorry hyung. But who do you think still awake at this late?’

‘I think you haven’t slept because I have something very very important to discuss with you’

‘what is it hyung? can’t we talk about it tomorrow?’

‘NO. because it is about Taeyeon, your girlfriend’
