this disturbance

won't disappear

If there is such a

thing as paradise

in this world,

 

It would

surely be ..

 

"Sunny!",a young man shouted while ran to her.

"This",he said as he give her a small box from cake shop.

"Sungmin! You waste your money again,I thought you want to save some money for travelling expenses",Sunny said and pout.

"Just shut up,and i know you like it",Sungmin said and smile.

 

I have date Sungmin in a year for now.

When we met,we were at the same beach down south.

Even though,I'd thought I'd never see him again,I couldn't forget him.

Then,when I start at high school,I met him again.

That's when I thought,"Maybe It's a Fate".

 

"Sungminnie,you have some cream on your mouth.How childish",Sunny said and start to wipe his mouth with tissue.

"Yeah,for us to cross paths with each other again it has to be fate"

"I think we were kind of fated to be together",Sungmin said and widely smile.

"How cheesy and I never thought you like thing",Sunny said.

"You know,I'm a romantic guy",Sungmin said.

"Aiyyye",Sunny said and hit him playfully.

 

Sunny start to rub her eyes slowly when Sungmin start to notice what she doing.

"Sunny,what's wrong?",he said with a worried tone.

"My vision went a fuzzy for a moment.It's better now",Sunny said and stop rub her eyes.

"You sure?",Sungmin said.

"I'm okay,don't worry my cute bunny",she said and pinch Sungmin cheek's lightly.

 

At night,we talk to each other on our phones.

Sundays are usually the day we go out.

On days that Sungmin not working,I'd  wait for him at the park.

I spent my 17th spring like this,it was so blissful.

however...

I had no doubt in my mind that everyday would be like that,

 

"Doctor,what do you mean?",Ms. Lee ask the doctor.

"Like I said,it's unfortunate.But according to our tests,you have about half a year

before you are completely BLIND",the doctor said.

"Doctor,you must have something to cure it right",Ms. Lee said and can't believe what doctor said.

'I'm going to be blind?'

'I won't  be able to see'

"With regard to this sort of illness,there's really nothing to do",the doctor continue.

"But right now,my eyes completely perfect",Sunny said emotionless.

"Your eyesight has been wavering from time to time,right?"

"From now on,the time in between episodes will become smaller,"

"and the severity of them will gradually increase",the doctor said.

 

*Ring

"there's a phone call from Sungminnie",Sunny said cheerfully when she out from shower.

But her smile fading when she remember what the doctor said about her disease.

And she just stare at her phone.

"Hey",Sungmin said from the phone.

"Hey",she said in sad tone.

"Is there anything happen?",Sungmin ask her.

"Nothing",she replied.

 

"What do you want to buy?",Sunny ask Sungmin.

"I don't know,hey! there's a novel that turn into movie",Sungmin said cheerfully.

"You read this novel?",Sunny said and smile.

"I lent from my friend and I heard that this movie will coming next spring,let's watch it",Sungmin said.

Next spring

..by then,it will already-..

 

In the future,I won't be able to go out with him like this.

"Sungmin,my eyes!",Sunny yelled.

If I tell him.

..what sort of expression will he show me?

Will he be troubled by it?

He might tell it's all too hard.

He'd tell me he's sorry.

If I tell him,

..would he ask to break up with me?

"It's nothing",Sunny said and awkwardly smile.

"You've been strange today",Sungmin ask her.

"No,I'm fine",Sunny said.

"Then,I'll walk you home",Sungmin said.

"No,see you later",Sunny said as she walk away from Sungmin.

I'm scared.

I can't say it.

 

"Your eyesight has become hazier?",the doctor ask.

"Yes",Sunny said.

"I see,have you experience any  headaches lately?",the doctor ask again.

"Yes,a little",Sunny said.

"Please come again next week"

"Also make sure to rest your eyes whenever possible and.."

What should I do?

 

"Look Sunny,it's funny right?",Sungmin said as he point at the bench.

'The sight I saw it's blurry',she thought.

If I keep hiding it,I'm going to get found out.

I know this,but-..

If he knew about my eyes,

..this kind person,

I don't think he'd be able to break up with me.

He'd pity me...

and say things like "poor thing".

But I'm trying to tie him to me like a spoilt child,

so really the "poor thing" is really him.

He won't..

be hearing anything from me.

 

"I want to go to restroom for a while",Sungmin said when he walk away.

"Sungmin"

"Let's break up",Sunny voice out.

"You're kidding right?",Sungmin said and laugh awkwardly.

"Break up with me",Sunny said and walk away.

Sungmin start to chase her,"Why Sunny? What's wrong with you"

"You've been strange lately",Sungmin said as he grab her wrist.

"If you think I'm weird,that's fine with me",Sunny said and start to walk faster when she trip on the floor.

No..

I have to do this right-

Sungmin hand his hand but she snatch away.

"I get it",Sungmin look away.

Sunny walk away leave him behind.

 

"So you want to transfer the school before you become blind?",her homeroom teacher ask.

"I understand,but have you told your friends about it?"

"There's no need to do that",Sunny said and bow.

"I don't want them to feel uncomfortable around me",Sunny said and smile.

 

The flashback when I first met him kept replaying on my mind.

From the first met until the second met I met him.

"Sunny,where the shop you want to show us?",her classmate said.

"I will show you after school",Sunny said and smile.

From you,that abrisiveness was so cute,

I glad I met you.

"Sunny,what's wrong?",one of her classmate ask her.

"You've been strange this lately",another classmate ask her again.

"Where is Sungmin sunbae that you always usually hang out".

"We were worried",her classmate said.

"We had little fight",Sunny said and smile.

"Hope you'll make up soon",one of the classmate said.

But,

we won't be together again.

I didn't mean to hurt him.

We can't...

..Go back

to that time-..

 

The train-

Where is it?!

I can't move-...

"Sunny!",someone shouted.

"Huh",they pant their breath.

"Are you allright?",Sungmin ask her.

Sunny immediately hug him and realise that she hug him so she back away 

"Thank you",she said.

"Let go",Sunny said.

Wait a second..

"I let go your hand last time,and I regretted it so much that I felt I could die",Sungmin said as he hold her hand.

I can't just ask him,

Why were you standing right here?

No,can't be-

"I heard..about your eyes",Sungmin said.

"But,how in the world is that a reason to break up?!"

"Do you think I'm pitiful?"

"Why would you think that?!"

"How can you say that easily?",Sungmin shout at her.

"You don't know how hard this will get!",Sunny yelled.

"I have no clue,but we can handle this!!"

"Ever since you broke up with me,..everyday has been a struggle"

"I couldn't give up on you,..so I went to your house."

"I can't take anymore of this."

"I'd rather support you while you're blind.."

"Sunny"

"I Love You"

Soon 

I...

..won't be able to see this person.

That smile..

I love so much..

I won't able to see anymore

It's finally getting to me.

"NO!"

"NO! I don't want to be blind! I want to be able to see you!!"

"Please!!",Sunny said and tears down.

You

..will go blind.

No matter how much I wished,

I wasn't granted a miracle.

Once I'd realized..

that I wasn't going to see,

..the world become so beautiful.

 

"Sungmin! Wake up",Sunny wake him up.

"Where are we now",Sungmin said with his sleepy face.

"It's your fault who overslept",Sunny said and pout.

"You slept too",Sungmin said.

 

"It' beach!",Sungmin said he ran to the beach.

"The sunset's really bright",Sunny said.

"Should we watch it until it disappear?",Sungmin said.

"If we do,we'll be late getting back home",Sunny said.

"Then let's play the water.Come on!",Sungmin said and pout.

"What you're doing.Hurry up!",Sungmin said and wave up.

"Hold on.The heel on my shoes broke",Sunny said.

"Hey Sunny"

"What's wrong? Do you eyes hurt?",Sungmin ask.

I was fated to become blind,

..and it was also the fate that brought this person to me.

They are both kinds of fate,some are good and some are..

I..

"Hey Sungmin,I have kind favor to ask",Sunny said.

"When I lose my sight,up until the very last moment,would you be here with me?"

"Yes",Sungmin replied.

"Eh,No way.",Sunny said in disbelieved tone.

I..

..will embrace my fate.

I'm glad I met you.

Those short 6 months..

..really felt much longer than that.

Also,Sungmin..

..really did keep his promise.

 

4 Years Later,

 

"Ah mom"

"It's Sunny"

"Don't worry,I've walked that road by myself a thousand times."

"Okay,thanks"

"Later"

Even now,

..the memories from then are so clear.

They'll never disappear from my heart.

No matter where I was,

..if Sungmin was with me,

I was in paradise.

Yeah,

..that day was also paradise.

I will never see..

..that paradiese again,

..but even so..

"I'm home"

I'm living it everyday

"Welcome home Sungmin",Sunny said and widely smiled.
