A/N: Upon the start of this chapter, the POV will be the narrator.

It was 4.30 am and Minji I still working on her cases as she was the on call doctor for the night. Minji just finished her round and treated an old man with brain complication. “You should get rested first, doctor. You had been working  for 13 hours now.” The senior nurse assured.

“I think so too. If there’s anything, do page me okay?” Minji replied and went away with a flash of smile. When she was on her way to the on call room, someone came to stop her. “Minji.”

“Oppa.” She turned. “I need to talk to you. May I?” Eunhyuk asked.

“Yes sure. Let’s go to the café.”

“Rooftop is better I guess?”

“Ahh sure.” Minji smiled before they moved to the rooftop. Eunhyuk’s face was as serious as ever. He wasn’t seemingly to be dorky as he always be. It felt different for Minji but she was sure enough that he would be talking about her relationship with Kyuhyun. Furthermore with the incident that she slapped Kyuhyun in front of her colleagues.

“What brings you here, oppa?”

“I’m falling in love with you.”

“What?”

“Look. I have been keeping this since the day you helped me with my injury during the SS6 practice. I know this is wrong, but I couldn’t help it. I know you’re Kyuhyun’s girl but this is unbearable. I need to let you know my feelings and let you make the choice.”

“Oppa, do you realize what are you talking about?”

“I do! I’m in my completely conscious mind but I couldn’t think straight till I confess it to you. I’m so sorry, Minji.”

“The truth is, we broke up recently. Therefore, I don’t think we could make it. Plus, you are almost to be his blood brother. I hurt him by breaking up, I can’t hurt him more but accepting you.”

“Wait, you broke up? Why?”

“I just can’t make it, oppa. I’m sorry. I really am.” Minji apologize. Before she could get out of the door, Eunhyuk snatched her hands and kissed her. Minji was trying to fight but it was just in seconds, she gave in and hugged Eunhyuk, replying his kiss passionately. They pull off the kiss after a minute. “I love you.” Eunhyuk whispered.

“I have to go. I’m sorry.” Minji pushed him slightly and went off the door. She laid on the bed in the on call room, trying to get some sleep after 13 hours of work but she just can’t. The confession, the kiss, everything just made her heartbeat beats fast than ever as if the blood in her body is going to be splattered out of her body. She felt hot, like a kid being embarrassed to be in front of her class and speak. Her blood ran through the body fast that she could feel it.

“No! I can’t be in love with him.  Kyuhyun is a good guy. So do Eunhyuk. My heart can’t be changing that fast! No! I’ve to ignore all this. Choi Minji, you have a housemanship to finish, a specialist program to be mastered, a research to have your PhD. You need to focus. No men, no love, no distractions! Yes! You have to focus.” Minji blabbered to herself. Suddenly she reminisced of a meeting.

FLASHBACK

“Woobin ah. Why did you do this to me?” she cried. She was at the jail, meeting the guy who kidnapped and tortured her.

“No one is getting you if I don’t. It’s better to have you dead than seeing you being with someone else!” Woobin yelled as he bang the table in front of him. The police held him back.

“See for yourself now. You’re jailed, Woobin. You’re ruining your life. Don’t you remember that you were the one who left?”

“I will make sure any guy who comes close to you, DIE.” Woobin warned before Minji ran out of the visiting room.
