“Kiko-ssi… how’s GDragon’s condition? Is it true that he’s in comatose?”

“Kiko-ssi, please give us your statement”

Kiko ignored all te questions but then…

“Kiko-ssi, is that true that you and GD-ssi already registered your divorce paper before this accident?”

The last question snapped her. she stopped for a while but decided to walked away

Kiko walked, guarded by four bodyguards and ignored the stuffed reporters who were waiting for her arrival. She went straight to the ICU, where Jiyong was

“Make sure they won’t be able to slip in” She told the guard and left, walked straight to Jiyong’s unit. She took off her shade and found only Bae and Dara

“You come already” Bae stood up as he saw Kiko.

Kiko looked around. “Where are them?” She asked

Bae and Dara knew exactly who were ‘them’ referred to. But they didn’t know how to tell Kiko without make her angry

Kiko knew, there might me something Bae and Dara kept from her

“Where are my in-laws?” She asked again with stern voice

“They went to see Lee family” Youngbae finally spoke up and his answer instantly raised Kiko’s anger

“What? What the hell are they doing?!” Kiko shouted furiously

“They’re just trying to save their son, your husband” Dara said

“By seeing the Lee family? Are they kind of Gods or something?” Kiko still freaked out

“Can you just calm down? Your husband is dying inside that room” Bae reminded Kiko about Jiyong’s condition

“How come I calm down?! Why do they go to them?! Who are them to us?!” Kiko screamed

“Stop being selfish!”

Beyond the expectation, the calm Youngbae suddenly shouted back at the skinny woman, made Kiko and Dara surprised

“Can’t you see how suffering your husband is? He just wants to see his son!” Bae shouted desperately. Then he inhaled deeply to calm himself

“Can’t you just let him to see that boy, even in this condition?”

“I don’t want that bastard or his mother to enter my life again” Kiko hissed in anger

“But he is already the part of Jiyong’s life” Dara voiced. Kiko turned to her and gave her a deadly look

“You knew it since the beginning though. Jay is Jiyong’s son and no one can change the fact. You shouldn’t force them to be separated like this….” Dara continued, looked straight to Kiko

“But-”

“Jiyong already kept his promise” Bae cut Kiko and it only made her more furious

“Kept his promise?” Kiko chuckled mockingly. “Do you think I’m stupid, huh? Do you think that I don’t know how he’s stalking them all the time? Do you think I don’t know that he flied to L.A regularly just to watch them from afar?!” she shouted loudly

“He promised me to give his love only for me but he broke his promise!” Kiko screamed angrily. “I will never let-”

Kiko stopped midsentence when she saw them

Her in-laws, along with the woman she hate the most…, and the boy they were talking. Chaerin and Jay

They were walking towards her

“What is this?” Kiko couldn’t control her emotion. She asked her mother in law with high pitch voice while glared at Chaerin and Jay

“Kiko-yah… you know that your husband wants to see his son badly. Maybe if Jay come and see him, he will get better soon” Mrs. Kwon explained softly, but it didn’t calm the angry lady

“What are you doing here?” Kiko asked Chaerin and gave her another sharp glare.

“Don’t get me wrong. I’m just here to my son” Chaerin answered coldly. While Jay, he felt like want to punched the skinny woman’s face for the way she looked at his Mother

“How dare you to be here”

“Why not?” Chaerin cut. “Listen, I’m not here to argue with you”

“But I don’t want you to be here” Kiko stepped up

“I don’t want to be here either” Jay spoke up, made all the eyes were on him

“Jay…”

“Can we just go, Ma?” Jay asked his Mom coldly

“No, please… Jay…” Mrs. Kwon ran to Jay. “Please.., at least see your Papa first” She begged

“He’s not my Papa” said Jay

“Jay!”

“He’s nothing to me just like I’m nothing to him! I hate him and I don’t care if he’s going to die!” Jay shouted to his mom and Chaerin slapped him hard automatically and made all the people there widened their eyes in surprise

“Ma?” Jay gave his mom a disbelief look. Chaerin had never been hurt her son physically until this moment

“Now you even slap me for him?” Jay asked his mom, couldn’t hide his hurtful look

“Did I ever teach you to act like that?” Chaerin asked Jay and looked straight to his eyes

“He never wants me, Ma!! He told you to abort me and neglecting us all the time” Jay argued

“But it doesn’t give you any right to say those things” Chaerin stated

“I don’t want to see him” Jay said and left them

“Omo…, Chaerin… Jay…, what should we do?” Mrs. Kwon was in panic

Chaerin just watched her son walked away while trying hard not to break down

No, not my cheek. But here…, my heart

For the first time in 15 years, my Ma just slapped me. I’ve never seen my Ma so angry before. She never hurt me
