[Jaejoong’s Home]

    “I swear, it was Yunho,” Jaejoong tried to convince Geunsuk.

    Geunsuk raised his brow and poured some whiskey in his cup. To think they just came back from the bar.

    “Jae, you have been telling me that since we left the bar. I didn’t see him, and I am dead certain that it could have not been him,” Geunsuk said calmly, as he sipped his alcoholic beverage.

    Jaejoong got up from the couch and walked to Geunsuk. He pulled the cup of whiskey from Geunsuk’s grasp and downed it in a hurry.

    He slammed the cup on the marble counter and jumped on the high stool to sit down. He then proceeded to brood with his head down on the marble counter.

    “How can you be dead certain it was not him?” Jaejoong queried in a drunken slur.

    Geunsuk sighed and took his place next to Jaejoong.

    “First, you,” he pointed to Jaejoong and continued, “are dead drunk. Not little, but dead drunk. Second, Yunho is in Japan.”

    Jaejoong pulled his head in a fast action, which got him dizzy. He held his head and groaned.

    Geunsuk snickered lowly at Jaejoong’s pained reaction.

    “Agh! I should have not drank this much!” Jaejoong complained and massaged his head.

    “Well, haven’t I heard this before? Oh, yeah. Just two days ago,” Geunsuk said with a mock puzzlement.

    Jaejoong glared at Geunsuk and let out a pout.

    “Shut up, . If you really worried about me, then you would have not took me to that bar,” Jaejoong mumbled.

    “Yeah, like Mr. Kim Jaejoong would listen to his poor friend,” Geunsuk said as he shook his head.

    “Shut up. Wait, what were we talking about?” Jaejoong asked as he went into deep concentration.

    Geunsuk narrowed his eyes at his dumb drunk friend and heaved out a sigh.

    “Your ex.”

    Jaejoong turned his head to look at Geunsuk and narrowed his eyes.

    “Which ex, ? I am too drunk to be going through the list to think of all my exes. Give me the damn name!”

    “Ha ha,” Geunsuk faked a dry laugh. “Even when you are drunk, you can’t be humble. Bragger.”

    Jaejoong glared at Geunsuk again.

    “Yah! It’s not called bragging! It’s called having many failed relationships. Even though I am drunk, I am sure that is not a good thing.”

    “Well, it’s not my fault that someone is too picky with his choices.”

    “Well, it’s not my fault that those guys are not as good as Yun-” Jaejoong cut himself as a sudden realization hit him. “Ah! I was talking about Yunho!”

    Geunsuk could once again just shake his head and wonder why he was even friends with Jaejoong. Oh yeah, he had a crush on him, which died a long time ago.

    “Oh yeah, you were saying something about him being in Japan. Why do you know this?” Jaejoong inquired in a tone full of jealousy.

    Geunsuk laughed loudly when he noticed the tone Jaejoong was using.

    “If someone is not jealous, I will promise to stop calling myself the Asia’s Prince.”

    Jaejoong let out a pout and turned around on his chair.

“I am not jealous. I am just asking how you know this.”

Geunsuk moved closer and put his chin on Jaejoong’s shoulder and breathed out.

“It’s everywhere, darling. Yunho and Changmin are busy in Japan with their THSK schedules.”

“Why did I not know this?” Jaejoong asked with a pout.

Geunsuk poked Jaejoong’s cheek, which made Jaejoong turn his head to face Geunsuk. Jaejoong’s hot breath hit Geunsuk’s face, and there goes his heart. So much for his “dead crush”.

Geunsuk quickly pulled himself away from Jaejoong’s shoulder and calmed his heart.

“I-I, um, y-you. Ugh!” Geunsuk yelled in frustration as he pulled his hair. ! Why does he do this to me!

Jaejoong covered his ear in grimace and shot Geunsuk a frustrated glare.

“Yah! Don’t yell! My head hurts!” Jaejoong yelled back, totally ignoring what he, himself, had just said.

Geunsuk shot Jaejoong an equally frustrated glare.

“Well! I would not have to yell if you were less frustrating!”

“Me, frustrating? That’s you, you bastard!”

“Well, at least I am not the one sulking about his ex!”

“I am not sulking! I am just curious!”

“Curious, my ! You are goddamn jealous that you didn’t know Yunho was in Japan. And you are also going crazy, seeing him everywhere! If you actually had seen him, you would have seen Changmin too. But, no. You just saw him, why? ‘Cause Kim Jaejoong can’t move on from Jung Yunho, even after ing five years!” Geunsuk shouted all his feelings out.

Geunsuk had liked Jaejoong for a long time, but only thing Jaejoong saw him as was a buddy. Jaejoong could never truly see him as a possible lover. Only thing they did was mess around when Jaejoong felt lonely and depressed over his still raging feelings for his ex-lover, Yunho.

Jaejoong held his head low and laughed. Geunsuk widened his eyes as he saw Jaejoong’s quivering figure.

Has he finally gone crazy?

Then Geunsuk’s eyes trailed down to Jaejoong’s palms, they were firmly pressed against his laps. He saw water falling on the back of Jaejoong’s palm, but he knew they were not water.

“I am pathetic, aren’t I?” Jaejoong asked, still laughing. He raised his head up and tears were flowing down his cheeks. He gave a dainty broken sad smile to Geunsuk and shut his eyes. “It’s been five years, hasn’t it? And here I am, still going crazy over him. 

Sometimes, I feel like I should just give everything up and curl into a ball and slowly fade from this world. How can one guy make me lose my composure so easily? That too, when he is not even next to me?”

Jaejoong used the bottom of his palm to wipe his eyes harshly, still the tears were flowing down his cheeks.

Geunsuk bit his bottom lip and got up from his chair. He walked to the refrigerator and got a bottle of cold water. He made his way back to Jaejoong and loudly placed the water bottle on the marble counter.

The action got Jaejoong to stop rubbing his eyes and glance to his left with red shot eyes. He then glanced at Geunsuk, who was standing with his arms crossed.

“You really are pathetic. Why am I even friends with you?”

Jaejoong gave a small smile to Geunsuk and took the water bottle. He wince
