Victoria Song was the daughter of a multimillionaire who was killed by an unknown assassin. Many believed that his opponent was the one hiring the assassin to kill her father, but it was all a mystery of why, and how he died. Following her father's death, his personal assistant, Mr Im, who was almost like family to Victoria, since she had lost her mother at the young age of 3, arranged her to go into hiding. Only few knew about this, and there's only a few of her closest family to trust, since everyone would be eyeing to own the company that her father owned. Victoria was sent to live with her best friend, Yoona, in a small neighbourhood in Seoul. It was a relief that they never revealed the existence of her to anyone, for they knew better that she would be in danger, and all her life she had been using a different identity. It was safe, but now that he was dead, it's better to make things as safe as possible. 

Her best friend, Im Yoona, knew her since she was 4, and since she was the sister of Mr Im, Victoria chose her to keep her safe and help her to fit in as a normal girl. Yoona promised to help, and all this time, she had been protecting her with Kyuhyun. 

Cho Kyuhyun is from a family of bodyguards which served the family from the past couple generations, and now his father and Mr Im asked him to keep a watchful eye on Victoria as Yoona might not be as experienced as him. What reason for he is there remained a secret to Victoria, and maybe, when the time is right, she would be informed about the situation of everything.
