I’m staring at our picture that we took when we still in 2nd grade last year. He looked so innocent but never less beautiful. I smile as I’m remembering what happened at school corridor this afternoon. The rain dropped heavily, despite the sky above was cloudy, he still looked dazzling in his uniform.
“Hi Kibum, waiting for someone?” He turned at me upon hearing my voice.
“Jinki… Yeah, my boyfriend said he’ll pick me up this afternoon. Oh my god, how do I look? Does something stick on my face?” He eyed me like I was a mirror.
Then I smiled and said “No, you look amazing…as always.” He slapped my arm lightly, feeling embarrassed.
15 minutes later, there was red Jaguar stopped in front of our school gate, revealing a handsome, well-built guy that brought grey umbrella while walking toward us, but smiling endlessly at Kibum.
“Well Jinki, see you tomorrow.”
“Okay, be careful and have a nice day.”
That Chansung guy smiled and bowed a little at me, so I did the same to him. I was searching for his lack of something, but I think I found none. But hey, I’m his best friend, there is no way Chansung is better than me. I hope someday Kibum will find me better, and he can see me as more than a best friend. Aigoo, me and my silly thought.
