Author's Note: This story is called "STAR" and it's about Cho Rylee, an OC, and Jessica Jung. 

Synopsis:    

      Cho Rylee has never dreamed about being an idol. However, things change. She is now a new K-pop idol from a hot girl group, 4GN (4 Girls' Night), that recently debuted in South Korea.

     Jessica Jung Soo Yeon is a former member of SNSD, and now a solo artist. Rylee is in the closet, and also a huge fan of Jessica. So, what will happen when these two meet on a variety show where a fan gets to meet their idol? 

Prologue:  

Rylee's POV

     I was only 10 years when I was scouted to become a trainee under JYP Entertainment. I was just shopping in my hometown, Sacramento, California. I wasn't doing anything eye-catching. My mother thought it was cool a scout wanted me in their company. My dad was a little hesitant about it. At first, I wasn't interested. However, things changed when my friends said if I become famous, I would meet the oh-so-famous Jessica Jung. Of course I really wanted to meet her, so I became a trainee. That's why we moved from America to South Korea.

     After a few years of training, I was set to be in a girl group with some other three girls I've never met. We eventually became best friends. 

     The oldest, and who would be our leader, is Kang Eun Kyung, the main singer. Her voice is like an angel if you ask me. The second oldest is Song Ha Neul. She's the visual of the group. The third is Lee Xui Mei, or Vivian Lee. She's the rapper and the second main singer. She's also really good at playing instruments. The last, the maknae, is me. I'm the lead dancer, since I took some martial arts classes and gymnastics when I went to an arts school in America. I also continued for a while in South Korea. So, I don't know if we're the first Korean girl group to do flips or anything, but we do those. 

     Another few years later, when I turned 17, we debuted as 4GN. We weren't really famous at first. However, after our song "Single" came out, we became a big hit. It's probably because Ha Neul unnie and I did all sorts of flips and heavy, powerful dancing while Eun Kyung and Vivian unnie displayed their powerful vocals and danced along with us. We basically showed them we had the talent. 

     Now, I'm 19 and my career is taking off higher. We're getting acknowledged even more lately. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to meet Jessica Jung yet. I've caught a glimpse of her a few times, but I never really got to meet her. We haven't even been on the same music program or event even once. 

     Well, not until today. I smile when I remember my schedule. I would have to appear on a variety show today as a special guest star, alongside Jessica Jung. The show is about fans meeting their idol and sharing stories, including playing games, singing, and dancing. 

     "Manager oppa." I call when I see him enter the room. 

     We have separate schedules today. Ha Neul is at a radio show, Vivian is filming an MV with a new boy band, and Eunkyung is passed out in the room. Her schedule was really packed yesterday so I don't blame her. 

     "When you call me in a voice like that, it means you want to ask me a favor." he states. I nod. After two years of being our manager, he knows us all so well. 

     "Can we change things up a bit?" I ask. 

     Truth is, I want to be one of the fans, not one of the special guest stars that'll meet my own fans. Richard oppa chuckles. 

     "Okay, let's see what I can do. Keep talking." 

     Best. Manager. Ever.
