Joo Hyun stared at the man pacing in front of her. It has been 3 months after their graduation, 2 months after they started training. That long, she has been longing to see him, but she held herself, she gulped the remaining water in the glass before she spoke “There is nothing to talk about. You can leave.” She answered coldly

Yonghwa stared at her and felt a lump on his throat. “I just want to talk.” He sighed exasperated; he gave her an agonizing look. “What has happened to us?” he cleared his throat

Joo Hyun stood up with an apathetic expression and opened the door. “Please leave.” She said while looking elsewhere but him.

Yonghwa grabbed his hair in frustration before he stood in front of her. He held her eyes and said “at least hear this out. I got accepted as a trainee too. At FNC.” He her hair affectionately and said “I miss our friendship.” He then walked out of her apartment, the night time breeze rustling his loose shirt as he picked up his speed

Joo Hyun leaned on her apartment door, her knees felt weak from the encounter. With a trembling hand, she reached for her phone in her pocket and dialled. He picked up after the second ring.

“Chingu, is it possible for you to sleep here tonight?” she said a sob escaped

“Dangshin, wae? Is there anything wrong?” He said when he hear her suppressed sob “Wait for me, I’ll pack my things and be there in 5 minutes.” He ended the call and packed hurriedly, worried of what might happen to his friend

Yonghwa found himself in front of Chanyeol’s apartment. He was now having second thoughts of whether to press the door bell or not when the door opened abruptly which made him jump. 

Chanyeol was startled to see Yonghwa outside his door “What are you doing here?” he managed to ask

“Uhmn. Can we talk?” he asked him as he looked at his duffel bag “Or are you going somewhere?” 

Chanyeol followed his gaze on his bag before he nodded. He opened the door wide to welcome his visitor in. “Coffee or juice?” he offered as he approached his personal ref.

Yonghwa shook his head “Water’s fine.” He looked at the picture of him and Joo Hyun on the side table. They are wearing their graduation toga smiling brightly for the camera while holding their diploma. That picture was taken right after he approached and tried to talk to her for the first time but he gave him a cold sh
