The first day of class started early for the four freshmen. Kyungsoo made sure to wake them all up half an hour earlier than they expected so that the little squish can make sure that all of them were wide awake and filled for the classes ahead. When they finished with breakfast, it was still early so Jongin insisted to walk Kyungsoo to his first class, which Kyungsoo shared with Baekhyun, so Baekhyun kind of dragged Chanyeol along.

I don’t want to be the only third wheel, he said.

Baekhyun and Kyungsoo shared all of their classes together, so they are together the whole day. They also share one class with Jongin, English for their Foreign Language 1 Class. It was completely by chance so Baekhyun was so dismayed to learn that. Chanyeol had completely different classes so they only meet him during lunch.

They learned from the first day though that the cafeteria during lunch time was practically like a battle field because most students have lunch at the same time. It was located at the ground floor of the General Classes building and everyone goes there as soon as the lunch bells rings, hoping to get ahead of the lot. There are lucky ones who get to have theirs 30 minutes to an hour earlier, depending on their schedule but unfortunately, the four could only have that 30-minute-earlier lunch advantage during Wednesdays because Kyungsoo and Baekhyun have early lunch at that day. On the other days, one of them— whoever has a class closest to the cafeteria before lunch— has to run and save a table for the four of them before everything gets occupied.

They all start classes at 8:00 in the morning, except for Chanyeol who start classes at 9:00 every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Despite that, Kyungsoo still forces him up during those days to eat breakfast with them. At first, Chanyeol resisted a lot, but after that one time Kyungsoo pulled him by his feet down his bed and almost successfully dragged him out of their room that way, he got up willingly and ate breakfast with them.

I don’t like you, but you’re still Jongin’s friend so eat up, the little squish would always say.

By the end of their first week, they have already gotten used to everything about the school. They met all sorts of people already— good ones and bad ones, but the good thing was that they didn’t seem to have attracted a lot of the bad ones so far everything is pretty chill.

By the third week, fliers started appearing everywhere in the school. The fliers promoted the different clubs and student organizations in the school. That was when they heard for the first time that they actually have to be in at least two clubs, but they can be in a maximum of three which most of the students take advantage of because it would look good in their resumes later on.

The start of the registration for the clubs do not actually start until Wednesday, but even though it’s only Monday, all the currently club members were already enthusiastically explaining everything about their club to anyone who would listen, just to secure some sure applicants already when the actual day comes.

Finally, that was what Baekhyun had been waiting for since the first day.

“This is it! We can meet Taeyeon Noona again!” Baekhyun said with a wide smile as he went thru the pile of fliers forced into his hand as they walked pass the students handing them out at the halls that lead to the cafeteria.

“That reminds me though, we still don’t know which clubs they were talking about. They never told us the names,” Kyungsoo said as he looked around the already crowded cafeteria. When he spotted Chanyeol already sitting on their usual table which was at a corner, by the windows, he quickly walked straight there, followed by the still distracted Baekhyun.

“Ah, but they did say they are officers on the club so we’ll probably see them when registration starts anyway,” Kyungsoo added as he sat across Baekhyun who sat beside Chanyeol.

Jongin still wasn’t there because unlike the three of them whose classes were only on the higher floors, general classes, his class before lunch happened to be at the Film Building. Despite that, Baekhyun knew better than to sit beside Kyungsoo because when he did that once, the guy actually forced his between the best friends to get the seat beside his boyfriend and Baekhyun ended up almost falling at the edge of his seat. He had no plans of giving Jongin the opportunity to successfully push him to the floor so he decided to just not give the guy the opportunity to try that again.

“I can call and ask,” Baekhyun said, eyes shining as he pulled out his phone. “It should be their lunch break too, right?”

“Call who? Ask what?” Chanyeol asked as soon as the best friends took their seats and he overheard their conversation.

“Taeyeon Noona,” Baekhyun cheerfully said as he searched through the names on his contact list. “We want to know what the names of the clubs we were supposed to join are.”

“Or Baekhyun just wants a reason to call Taeyeon Noona. He’d been wishing to bump into her for the past few weeks, but that didn’t happen. Now, he’s actually looking for even the smallest reason to call,” Kyungsoo said with a teasing tone as he looked at his best friend who didn’t even deny it.

When he turned to Chanyeol though, he saw the way the taller’s face darkened but tried to hide it when he realized that Kyungsoo was looking at him. Kyungsoo just shrugged at Chanyeol who just ended up sighing.

“Anyway, since you’re here now, I’ll go get in line. I’ll text you what they have and then just reply with what you want me to order for you,” Chanyeol said as he got to his feet, but Kyungsoo quickly shook his head and motioned for him to sit back down. “Or not?”

“Let’s wait for Jongin,” Kyungsoo simply said.

“But the queue—” Chanyeol was starting to say, but Kyungsoo just help up a hand, shook his head and repeated, “Let’s wait for Jongin.”

“Okay then,” Chanyeol just shrugged. He’d learned to just concede when it came to Kyungsoo. The boy didn’t like him enough as it is. The boy might look cute, and act all sweet with his best friend and his boyfriend, but he is totally different when it comes to someone he doesn't like. Chanyeol didn't want to make that worse.

When Jongin came a few minutes later, he was bringing an extra bag and as it turned out, the reason why Kyungsoo wouldn't let Chanyeol get in the queue was because he prepared lunch for them for that day. Apparently, Kyungsoo was tired of cafeteria food so he thought of doing that on Mondays for them.

“Is this why you went through our fridge last night?” Baekhyun asked while eating and texting at the same time.

“I was out of lemons… and a few other things,” Kyungsoo said with a shrug. “Seriously though, I didn’t expect you to have so many things in your fridge. Baekhyun can’t cook to save his life. He’ll even endanger it.”

“Hey, that’s mean!” Baekhyun said with a pout, looking away from his cellphone once to show his best friend his puppy eyes.

“Baek, you were banned from visiting my house for a month because you burnt my mother’s wok. Do you know those things can actually last generations? She got that from grandma who that from her grandma. And you burnt it that one time you decided to experiment,” Kyungsoo said with a pout, adding, “She promised I could have that, but now I can’t.”

“That’s ridiculous,” both Jongin and Chanyeol said, laughing.

But when the best friends turned to them with sharp gazes, they both gasped in shock.

“It’s true?”

“Unfortunately,” Baekhyun sighed.

“Baekhyun, please don’t even think of going near our kitchen,” Chanyeol said with a cautious look towards his roommate who pouted even more. “If you want to eat anything and Kyungsoo isn’t available, just tell me.”

“Really?!” Baekhyun’s face brightened at once as he turned to his roommate with a huge grin.

Chanyeol just chuckled and nodded. “I mean I’m probably not as good as Kyungsoo, but I’m not bad.”

“Of course you’re not,” Kyungsoo snorted as he watched the roommates talk, Baekhyun repeated asking Chanyeol what kinds of food he was good at cooking and Chanyeol enthusiastically answered all of his questions.

Baekhyun looked like he momentarily forgot what he was doing before that, but when his cellphone beeped a couple of times, Chanyeol’s face darkened again but Baekhyun was already too distracted again to notice it.

“Is that Taeyeon Noona?” Kyungsoo asked the widely grinning Baekhyun.

“Yeap. I introduced myself earlier and asked if she was busy. She said she is because they are preparing for the registration on Wednesday, but she said we can meet them on the day of the registration and she would help us out on registering on the clubs we choose to join,” Baekhyun said, after sending another text and then kept his phone back on his pocket.

“So what are all the clubs are you guys interested in, so far?” Jongin asked, question obviously directed towards her boyfriend who started thinking as soon as he heard the question.

“I’m joining in all the clubs Taeyeon Noona is in,” Baekhyun answered despite not being asked.

Jongin turned to him with a wince though, upon hearing his answer. “Stalking my cousin, huh?”

“Yeah, I’m trying my best not to associate her with you, so please stop saying that,” Baekhyun said, answering Jongin’s wince with his own wince.

Jongin smirked. “Mind you, I am her favourite cousin. Even if you don’t hear it from me, you’ll hear it from her.”

“Gosh, you really are a vermin in my life,” Baekhyun groaned, slouching in defeat as he stuffed his mouth with food.

“Anyway,” Chanyeol interjected, hoping to change the topic now. “I’ll join that club Kris Hyung and Joonmyeon Hyung were talking about before. I asked around and everybody in the Business Block actually knew them to be among the top students so I’ll trust them.”

“Just that?” Jongin asked.

“I was also thinking of joining a music-related club, but I don’t know which one’s good yet. Oh and Basketball, of course,” Chanyeol said, exchanging nods with Jongin, the two obviously agreeing with that.

“Why don’t you join with us on that one Taeyeon Noona and Tiffany Noona are in?” Baekhyun asked, turning to his roommate with a smile. “It would be fun if we all join it. Well, except Jongin, of course.”

“Thanks,” Jongin said with a wide fake smile.

"Would you like to join with us on a Music and Singing club?" Baekhyun asked.

"No," Jongin answered with a frown.

"There you go," Baekhyun smirked.

"That's why I said thanks," Jongin brought back the fake smile.

“Always,” Baekhyun answered with the same smile.

“I don’t know…” Chanyeol said hesitantly while making a face.

“Why not?” Baekhyun whined, frowning at his roommate’s answer.

Jongin and Kyungsoo looked at each other, one wincing and the latter shrugging. Of course they both know why Chanyeol was doubtful about joining the club. Jongin wanted to help his friend out to avoid that, but knowing Baekhyun, the Diva wouldn’t just take is word and keep asking questions. Questions that he wasn’t sure he can answer without revealing Chanyeol’s feelings. Kyungsoo was… just watching how things will turn out.

“We can all be in the same group when events come up. We won’t need to worry about being grouped with people we don’t know. Come on, Chanyeol! Don’t be a killjoy now,” Baekhyun said, continuously whining. “Just when I thought I have a really cool roommate and new friend. Don’t do this to me now, Chanyeol.”

The look on the taller’s face was conflicted and he was sighing too deep that even though Kyungsoo still doesn’t like him completely, he felt obliged to help the taller out.

“Baek, don’t do that. Chanyeol is free to join any club he wants to,” Kyungsoo said kindly, while shaking his head lightly as if to say that what Baekhyun was doing wasn’t right.

“But—” Baekhyun was trying to argue, but Kyungsoo held his hand that was on the top of the table and added, “If he asks you to join another club with him, one that Taeyeon Noona isn’t in, would you go?”

Baekhyun gasped, and then looked back down to his food with a pout. “But…” he muttered in a low voice but didn’t go on.

Chanyeol looked back at Kyungsoo, mouthing a ‘Thank You’ but when he turned to his roommate and found him pouting to himself, Chanyeol looked back at Kyungsoo with that conflicted look on his face again.

Annoyed, Kyungso mouthed back, ‘What do you really want?’ Chanyeol sighed and then shook his head, looking back at his roommate who was chewing on his food, mouth full, but still pouting.

“Baek, come on. Stop pouting. You’re making us feel bad,” Kyungsoo said, pouting back to his best friend when the other looked back at him.

“Yeah, Diva, stop it. You can’t get everything you want just because you’re whining, and your face gets uglier when you pout like that,” Jongin added comically, but that just got him a slap in the arm from Kyungsoo and a kick in the shin from Chanyeol, making the dancer hug himself and bend down in pain. “Will you two at least hold back a little!”

Baekhyun gave Jongin a dry look and then decided to ignore him.

“It’s just that I really think Chanyeol is a really good musician, with all the instruments he can play. I always listen when Chanyeol plays any of the instruments he has in our room and sometimes, he plays what I think are his original composition and they all sound good so I thought that it would be fun to work with him,” Baekhyun sighed. “But well, I guess that’s not happening.”

Baekhyun went right back to sulking after.

Chanyeol gave Kyungsoo a helpless look. Kyungsoo could tell that Chanyeol’s resolution was crumbling down by the second as he watched Baekhyun sulk, and because of that, Kyungsoo couldn’t help but see just how much Chanyeol really likes his best friend. Just because the smaller is sulking, Chanyeol was panicking like his wife was about to deliver his baby. Kyungsoo could tell that he was about to give in any second, and he wasn’t wrong.

“Listen, Baekhyun,” Chanyeol said, making Baekhyun turn to him, still with the pout, making the taller wince. “How about you take me along when you and Kyungsoo decide to meet up with the Noonas. I’ll check out the club with you and maybe join if I like it.”

“Really?” Baekhyun said, pout slightly decreasing.

“Sure,” Chanyeol forced out between the mouthfuls he forced himself to eat just so he can take his eyes off of the hopeful look on Baekhyun’s face.

Kyungsoo couldn’t help the wince on his face as he looked at Chanyeol. He wouldn’t admit it, but he felt bad for the boy. He knew what it was like to harbor feelings for a straight person. Before meeting Jongin, he had crushes on guys who were straight but he never confessed because he knew they were straight. It was difficult and really painful, despite those being just crushes. According to Jongin, Chanyeol’s feelings for Baekhyun were a little more serious than that. So Kyungsoo just couldn’t imagine how worse this was for him.

Kyungsoo didn’t do it on purpose, but he was giving Chanyeol a sympathetic look which the taller answered with a bitter smile followed by a sigh before he just focused on the food. Jongin also felt bad for his friend so he couldn’t help but glare at Baekhyun who seemed to have proceeded to eat with a smile.

Baekhyun didn’t even notice that though because he started a conversation with Chanyeol again, this time about the other clubs he was planning to join, thankfully taking the taller’s mind out of what he was just forced to get himself into because he was pretty happy that Baekhyun was at least a little interested in him.

When Wednesday came, more fliers and promoters appeared on every few meters of the school. They were instructed to visit the booths of the clubs that were set up both inside and outside the gymnasium. The four promised to check out the booths together after class, so they arranged to meet at the cafeteria and wait for each other there.

Jongin’s classes ended way earlier than the others though so he went back to their dorm first to take a nap. By 5:00, he went back to the school to meet Kyungsoo and Baekhyun at the cafeteria. They waited another half hour for Chanyeol’s classes to finish, and when he finally joined them, they proceeded to the gym which was already full of people.

“Well, what are we looking for exactly?” Jongin asked as they did their best to squeeze into the sea of students.

“Noona said to look for the Da Capo booth. It’s Black and Red, and it has an emblem of a stave with a G-Clef,” answered Baekhyun who was excitedly looking around.

Even before they went farther in though, Kyungsoo was already dragging him off course to approach a booth that got his attention. It was a booth designed with all sorts of cartoonish drawings of different types of food for the club named TOQUE, a Food and Cooking booth. So it was no wonder that Kyungsoo’s eyes were twinkling in interest. His eyes were focused on the photos displayed on the side that showed photos of members in the kitchen and some that were photos of members winning Cooking Competition. There were also some that had the members traveling, just having a Food Trip.

“Hi there! You look interested,” The smiley guy sitting behind the booth said while handing all four of them application forms, but out of the four, only Kyungsoo took it while the others shook their heads.

“I’m Lee Jinki. I’m the Vice President of Toque. And this one here,” Jinki pointed at the pretty girl sitting beside him who waved briefly at them before going back to entertaining the three girls who seemed interested in joining too. “She’s Im Yoona. She’s the President of the Club. She’s won multiple Cooking Competitions since she joined the club and she’s really good at leading the club.”

“Thanks,” the girl subtly answered from the side, flashing the boys a silly smile before going back to the girls she was talking with.

“I’ll join,” Kyungsoo said, grabbing the pen Jinki was holding up to him and filling up the form real quick.

He quickly filled up everything in the form and gave it back to Jinki. Jinki then gave him the club’s mini handbook and then enthusiastically waved them goodbye.

They proceeded back to squeezing their way thru the sea of students. This time, it took them longer to find something else that took their interest or the one they were actually looking for. But a few more minutes into walking, they found Kris standing in front of the booth they were approaching closer to and the guy saw them when they were close enough.

“Hey, guys. I don’t need to talk you into this, right?” Kris said, waving registration forms while smiling at them. For a Captain, Kris sure if diligent in promoting the Basketball Club.

“Of course, Hyung,” Chanyeol answered with a smile, hands already reaching out for the registration form. Jongin did the same, but when Kris looked at Baekhyun and Kyungsoo, the two quickly shook their heads with horrified looks on their faces, making the senior laugh.

“Hey, new members again! Damn Kris, how are you convincing all these people to join?” One of the guys behind the booth said as Chanyeol and Jongin stepped forward and bent down to start writing.

“I’m that good. Bye the way, Chanyeol, Jongin, that over there is the club’s Vice President who is also last year's MVP, Choi Minho," Kris said casually so the two freshmen stood back up for a moment just to greet him properly.

“We practice every Tuesday. You can skip practice when you want, but if you practice diligently, you get to play in a lot of the official matches, so that’s really up to you,” Kris informed the two as they wrote and the two nodded at his words.

“We’ll do our best, Hyung,” Jongin said, then shook hands with Kris and Chanyeol did too.

“By the way, Hyung. Where’s that booth you talked about before? With Joonmyeon Hyung?” Chanyeol asked and Kris thought for a moment before shaking his head. “I forgot to ask him that, but you should be able to find it if you keep looking.”

“I will, Hyung. Thanks!” Chanyeol said, goofy smile all up, before they proceeded.

The next booth they went to was one Jongin dragged them to. It was a subtly colorful and funky designed booth named The 88 and the people manning it were dressed in all sorts of style— hiphop, ballroom, ballet. They were dancers of every sort, but what shocked the two shorter ones was where both Chanyeol and Jongin approached one of the guys in hiphop clothes and hugged him one after the other, while giving each other high fives while talking comically.

“Oh, hey, hyung,” Jongin suddenly interrupted, finally remembering they weren’t alone. “Remember that boyfriend I told you about?”

“The squishy one?” The guy asked, making Kyungsoo pout and Baekhyun snicked subtly.

“This is Do Kyungsoo,” Jongin answered while nodding.

“Oh, he is squishy!” The guy said giddily and almost jumped Kyungsoo if not for Jongin stepping quickly in front of his boyfriend.

“I know, but you are not allowed to do that,” Jongin said strictly.

"Possessive as usual, I see," Taemin scoffed and shook his head while looking at Chanyeol, who nodded to that.

"You have no idea. He even gets jealous of Kyungsoo's best friend here," Chanyeol said, pointing at Baekhyun. "This is Byun Baekhyun, by the way. Kyungsoo's best friend and my new roommate."

"I'm not that bad," Jongin complained to his friends, and then turned to Kyungsoo. "Am I?"

Kyungsoo opened his mouth to say something, but his mouth just quivered although no words came out. He tried that again a few times, making him look like a fish out of water, but then he just ended up tilting his head while looking at his boyfriend with a forced toothy grin.

"What he's trying to say is that, Yes. You are that bad," Baekhyun said with a mocking innocent smile.

"By the way, guys, this is Taemin Hyung. He was our sunbae in high school," Chanyeol finally introduced the guy. "He was on the same Dance Club with Jongin since high school, and now, it looks like they'll be in the same Dance Club again."

"So are you all joining our club?" Taemin asked excitedly, but all the other three quickly shook their hands and heads to refuse and Jongin was the only one who stepped forward. Taemin looked back at the booth and shouted, "Yixing, some forms, please?"

"They have other clubs in mind already. But you know I will," Jongin said, reaching out his hand to ask for a registration form.

"Here you go," Taemin said, handing out a form to Jongin so quickly filled it up. When he finished and he was just about to hand it over to Taemin again, he asked, "Oh, do you know where Taeyeon Noona's club's booth would be?"

"Oh, it's just a few booths ahead. Six or seven, I think?" Taemin said, pointing further ahead. "Are you joining that too?"

"Oh, not me. These two," Jongin said, pointing at the two shorter, then at Chanyeol. "Maybe three. We better get going then. Noona is waiting for us."

They walked on ahead, and finally, they found what they've been looking for. Just as Taemin said, it was just a few booths ahead from them. The booth was designed with the club's emblem, a stave with a G-Clef drawn on it. This was it, the Da Capo Club. And sitting behind the booth are none other than Taeyeon and Tiffany, with a few others that the four didn't recognize.

"Hey, you're finally here!" Tiffany was the first one to look up when the four approached the booth, followed by Taeyeon who instantly flashed a smile.

"We were waiting for you guys," Taeyeon said. "You're all joining, of course, right?"

"Nah, I joined The 88," Jongin said, making Taeyeon pout a bit but then she nodded a little later.

"Yeah, that sounds about right for you," she said, and then turned to the other three. "But you guys are joining, right?"

"Kyungsoo and I are sure to join, Noona," said Baekhyun excitedly, hooking his arm up with his best friend, who also nodded enthusiastically. But unlike Baekhyun whose eyes are focused on the Noona, Kyungsoo was pleased by the sight of the photos displaying the different events and activities the club seems to be involved with. "But can you please tell us more about the club? Chanyeol is insisting on wanting to know more before joining."

"Oh, sure. Of course. That's actually what this Club Fair is all about and what we're here for," Taeyeon said and then turned to Tiffany. "Fany, take care of the papers for a bit."

The other girl nodded, arranging the forms in front of her, pushing the blank ones forward while she kept the signed ones in front of her so she can read thru them and filter which ones to accept instantly and which ones needed to be interviewed first.

"So what do you guys want to know?" Taeyeon asked as soon as she appeared in front of the booth.

Kyungsoo and Baekhyun were already holding forms, so her eyes were focused on Chanyeol who still looked pretty hesitant.

"Uhm..." Chanyeol tried to think, but when he turned to his roommate, he was eagerly motioning for the taller to ask away to he just did anyway. "First of all, the basic?"

"Oh, of course. Well Da Capo, as you probably know already is an Italian term than means from the beginning. You see it a lot on different Sheet Music, or well, the abbreviated form D.C. This club is actually one of the oldest clubs there are in this school along with The 88 from the Dance Block, Leather Attache from the Business Block, Brushstokes from the Fine Arts Block and Shutter from the Multimedia Block. Those five are the very first clubs formed a few years after the school was opened so there are a lot of history to each group. One of the most out standing part of the history of the club nowadays though is that one of the previous presidents of the club is someone you might all know well today," Taeyeon said with an excited smile that made the others wonder. "She was the president when I was a freshman. We called her Bo Ah Eonnie."

"No kidding!" Both Kyungsoo and Baekhyun exclaimed and then gasped in shock.

"We knew she went to his school, but we didn't know she was in this club," Kyungsoo said, turning to Baekhyun with a huge smile.

"We both really like her!" Baekhyun said, nodding at the same time as Kyungsoo.

"We do too," Taeyeon giggled at the way the two were acting so cute.

Baekhyun however, was just captivated by the way Taeyeon was smiling to beautifully while looking at them.

"How about the activities the club does, Noona?" Chanyeol distracted them from their fangirling and fanboying. "Like, events and contests, maybe?"

"Well, if you want events, there's a yearly event that the clubs organize every year. It's the biggest event of the school so not only DC participates, but we do take most of the control because we're like, the mother company here. It's kind of like a Music Festival that we actually celebrate every April 14th," Taeyeon explained.

"During Black Day?" Chanyeol asked with a scoff.

"Yeap. I think there's a hidden joke somewhere in there, but I can't really put my finger on it," Taeyeon just shrugged, laughing.

Baekhyun was just staring at her.

She didn't even noticed that as she just continued, "Now, we do have other activities that our club does in collaboration with The 88. Once a year, we organize a benefit concert that the school funds. We choose the best and most hardworking members to perform, and all of the earnings we get from that concert is donated to whichever cause the school has chosen for the year. The past few years I was here, the earnings were donated to a care facility for elders, to an organization that grants scholarship for kids... and what else? Oh! Last year, we had a closed down daycare reopened. It was seized by the bank before or something, and the parents asked for help because they liked that school for their kids so much. So that happened."

"That sounds really good," Kyungsoo said with a pleased smile.

"Yeah, it's really fun to perform when you know what good comes after," Taeyeon said proudly. "We don't know what the cause for this year is yet, but we're sure it's going to be great."

"What do we have to do to be able to perform?" Baekhyun asked, earning him Taeyeon's attention.

"Well, there's an audition of course. All of the members, even us officers, are welcomed to join. The panel of judges are usually the school director— if he is available, the Principal and the music teachers. They choose the best ones to perform and then preparation starts," Taeyeon explained, pointing at one photo which did look like one taken from an audition.

"Now, as for contests, we usually don't have them. But we do have quarterly group activities that require each group to compose and record a song. We choose the best ones and we submit them to the broadcasting room. They are then played everywhere in the school, and uploaded on the school's website. I guess you can consider that a way of promoting your music. It's great, especially for anyone from Music Production."

When Taeyeon was done speaking, she looked back at Chanyeol. "What do you think?"

Baekhyun and Kyungsoo were already done filling their forms since earlier so it was just Chanyeol that they were waiting for.

Taking a deep breath, Chanyeol smiled and nodded. "I guess I'm joining then."

"Good!" Taeyeon said and grabbed one form and gave it to Chanyeol. "Now fill this up before you change your mind."

While Chanyeol was filling up his form, Jongin decided to finally speak up.

"Noona, you mentioned a club for the Multimedia Block earlier?" Jongin asked.

"Oh, Shutter?" Taeyeon asked, and Jongin nodded. "I'm actually a member there too. Their booth isn't far from here. I'll take you there after Chanyeollie is done with his form."

Just as Taeyeon said, she excused herself from the DC Booth, leaving Tiffany in charge for a bit, and then brought them to another one just a few booths down. She was warmly welcomed by the people on the booth, especially when they saw four people following behind her.

"Wow, your recruitment powers are shining," one of the girls sitting behind the booth said.

"This here is my cousin Jongin, and these are his friends," Taeyeon said, pulling Jongin beside her. "Jongin here is taking Film as Minor and he is really interested in making movies. He has all these short movies he's made of his friends and our family. He's amazing."

"Really?" One of the girls said while looking at Jongin with an impressed smile. "Then you might be interested in joining the Film Fest."

"Film Fest? There's a Film Fest?" Jongin's interest was quickly tapped.

"Hold up there, Yuri. First things first," one of the girls said, holding her hand out to stop the other girl from saying more. "I'm Choi Sooyoung. I'm the President of Shutter, and next to me is Kwon Yuri, the VP. The Film Fest is probably something you can already tell from the name itself, but we'll tell you more about that if you attend the first club meeting."

"Here's the form you have to fill up," Yuri said, handing over a piece of paper to Jongin before looking at the group waiting behind the cousins. "None of you guys want to join too? You can't let your friend join alone, can you?"

Taeyeon also turned back to the three then. "Yeah, it would be fun to work together here too. One of the benefits in this club is that we get to borrow video equipment to shoot music videos after making songs on DC. We do that a lot and it's fun!"

"I'll join," Baekhyun skipped forward, running towards Taeyeon's side while subtly pushing Jongin to the side. He quickly grabbed the paper Yuri was giving him and started filling it up.

"Great! How about you two?" Taeyeon turned back to Kyungsoo and Chanyeol who looked at each other and started shaking their heads.

"I'm already in two clubs now. I'm hoping to join an art club for my third one," Kyungsoo said, and Chanyeol nodded beside him. "Same reason, but I'm hoping to join the business block club Kris-Hyung mentioned to me before."

"Okay, I can probably help you out with the art club too. It's another one I'm in, and it's one of the five biggest clubs I mentioned earlier— Brushstrokes," Taeyeon explained and Kyungsoo nodded enthusiastically. Then Taeyeon turned to Chanyeol and asked, "When you said Kris, you meant Kris Wu, right?"

"Yes, Noona," Chanyeol nodded.

"Then you're talking about Leather Attache. The business block clubs are usually gathered all together outside the gym, on the left side. You'll find it easily when you get there because it'll be the booth with the people in suits. They look like Kingsmen out there," Taeyeon said with a laugh.

"Thanks, Noona. I have been trying to look for it, but even Kris Hyung didn't know where it is," Chanyeol said with a shrug.

Just as Taeyeon said, she helped them to another booth, but just as she was introducing them to the people in that booth, Taeyeon got a call from Tiffany calling her back because they were suddenly short handed back on their booth. Apparently, a whole group of people came together and they were asking a lot of questions.

"Don't worry Noona, I can take care of your kids," the guy Taeyeon introduced as the club president, Kim Kibum who asked to be called Key, said with a smile. "You can go be a good president in there."

The booth was really pretty and colorful with all sorts of designs on it. On one side, it was painted on with Brushstokes written and painted on by obviously different hands because of the different styles it was made of. On the other side, it was full of photos of what looked like art exhibits full of different and many art enthusiasts. There were also photos of what looked like group activities where members paint on either each other or on other people and it all looked really fun.

"You call her Noona?" Jongin asked as Taeyeon left the four of them there.

"I'm only a third year, so yeah," the guy answered while waving the registration forms in front of their faces. Among the four, only Baekhyun and Kyungsoo took a form while the other two refused. "I only became a president because I sold the most art work at the open house last year."

"Really?" All four asked in shock.

"It's a weird tradition, but it's apparently always been like that since a few years ago. Saves the hassle of voting and nobody really complains who deserves the position if they just appoint the person who sold the most art. Apparently, it's working, so whatever," the guy explained with a shrug as he watched the two shorter boys sign their forms.

"So if say, we sell a lot of arts this year, we get to be President next year even if by then, we'll only 2nd Years?" Kyungsoo asked with a confused expression.

"Pretty much. So goodluck with that," the guys said, while accepting the forms the two just finished.

"Oh, and see you at the first meeting. Be prepared though. It would be great if you attend with samples of your work. There are people who usually ask around if they need a partner on something, so it would be great if you can show everyone your style of art immediately," Key said before waving them goodbye.

"Taeyeon Noona said to go outside to find that club I'm looking for," Chanyeol said to the others when they started walking without a definite destination, so they just followed the tallest among them when he started to lead them out to the side exit he spotted.

When they came out that side, they did find a lot of clubs out there that are from the business block. A lot of them were trying to get their attention, but Chanyeol knew exactly what he was looking for what he found the booth with men and women dressed in suits.

"Hyung!" Both Chanyeol and Jongin called when they recognized the guy lazing around in front of the booth with a huge Leather Attache written on it.

"Hey guys! Here to join?" The guy asked, suddenly looking all energetic.

"Just me, Luhan Hyung," Chanyeol asked. "But wait, I'm not sure this is the right one. Does the president happen to be a Junmyeon Hyung?"

"Oh, yeah. Junmyeonnie is the President," Luhan nodded, and then turned around and called, "Junmyeonnie!"

And all of a sudden, a guy jumped up from behind the booth while holding a stack of paper in his arms.

"Luhan, seriously, stop calling me that," the guy groaned, but then his frown quickly turned to a smile when he saw who was there. "Hey, if it isn't Chanyeol! Kris texted me a while ago that you would be coming any minute. You're later than I thought though."

"Oh, Chanyeol is the one Kris was talking about," Luhan said, nodding as if he just figured it all out.

"You know Kris Hyung too, Luhan Hyung?" Chanyeol asked and Luhan shrugged.

"Classmate," Luhan said.

"Fill this up Chanyeol," Junmyeon gave Chanyeol a piece of paper and then looked at the other three behind him. "Is anybody else joining?"

The three quickly shook their heads.

"We've already got three, Hyung," Baekhyun was the one that answered with a smile.

"That's cool. I just asked to be sure. Only business block people are interested in this club, anyway," Junmyeon said with shrug as he took a seat behind the booth and watched as Chanyeol filled up the form.

While Jongin engaged in a conversation with Luhan who was back to looking lazy, the two shorter went to the side of the booth where pictures were displayed and were very puzzled by the photos they saw.

"Luhan Hyung, why are there photos here that looks like a summer vacation?" Baekhyun asked, pointing at the photos that took their attention.

"Oh, those are photos from last year at Jeju," Luhan said with a grin. "I actually went to that."

"The club goes to Jeju?" Kyungsoo asked, suddenly all interested in the club.

"Well, not the entire club. Just a chosen few. Handpicked members are sent off to this yearly pseudo business conference for one to two weeks. It's not just our school though. A lot of other school send their students to that. It's like, making new friends, but also business associates for later," Luhan explained.

"That's cool! I wanna go to Jeju too," Baekhyun said, looking quite envious.

"What are the qualifications for that?" Chanyeol suddenly asked, and that's just when they realized that he was already done filling up his form.

"Well, the organizers ask students to submit some kind of a case study. They review everything and choose the best ones. Those ones are who gets to go," Junmyeon was the one who explained.

"You have to be really good at writing all those stuff, researching stuff and being consistent about the whole thing. But you should also know how to choose which topic would really get their interest. It's 70% hardwork, 30% luck, really," Luhan added, to which, Junmyeon nodded as well.

Chanyeol winced at that and tilted his head.

"Sounds difficult. But wouldn't hurt to try," he said and shrugged.

"Of course," the two Hyungs chorused.

"We can give you a few pointers, if you want them," Junmyeon offered, making Chanyeol's smile brighten.

"Oh, you should listen to him. He actually went to the conference for the last three years. And he's only a 3rd year," Luhan said with mock envy while pouting at the said 3rd Year who just smugly shrugged and then laughed at his friend's face.

"I just realized, there's actually not one club where all four of us are together," Kyungsoo blurted out as they walked their way back to the dorm after hanging out a little bit longer with Luhan and Junmyeon, who told Chanyeol all about what kinds of things happen during the conference.

At least until a few new people came to join the club. The Hyungs got busy then so they excused themselves already.

"I just realized Jongin and Baekhyun are actually together on one club," Chanyeol said, making the two who were mentioned gasp, while Kyungsoo actually snickered at the thought of that.

"You are definitely not welcome in my group, Byun," Jongin quickly said.

"Like I would even want to be in your group! I'll be in Taeyeon Noona's group of course," Baekhyun said, sticking his tongue out while making a face at Jongin who did the same in a mocking way.

"Taeyeon Noona will be in my group, Byun Stupid. Didn't you hear how much she likes my work?" Jongin said, smirking way too happily when Baekhyun's face feel after hearing that, mumbling "Damn it!"

Just when Jongin thought he won though, Baekhyun thought of something else.

"Well, if that happens then I'll have to remind you again that you owe me a favour for letting Kyungsoo room with you," Baekhyun said, making Jongin click his tongue in annoyance, mumbling, "This diva !"

"Oh, Shutter will be a very entertaining club," Chanyeol said, sarcasm spilling out of his mouth, making Kyungsoo laugh lightly.

"Kyungie, you're not gonna stop your from being mean to your best friend?" Baekhyun said, gasping in shock when he heard Kyungsoo laugh instead of defend him.

"It's okay, Baekhyun. Can't you just be happy you got in all the club Taeyeon Noona is in?" Kyungsoo said and that actually wiped the frown off of Baekhyun's face. "Just have fun... Oh, and don't kill my Jonginnie."

Jongin scoffed. "Right. As if."

Kyungsoo then turned towards his boyfriend. "Jonginnie, be nice. I actually mean it whenever I beg Baekhyun not to hurt you."

"Hurt me? This munchkin?" Jongin mockingly pointed at Baekhyun.

Baekhyun was about to grab the finger Jongin was pointing at him with, but Kyungsoo quickly pulled it out of the way, the shorter squish grabbing his heart in relief when he saw that he got his boyfriend's hand out of the way just in time.

"Jongin, I'm serious. If you have anything better than 9 years of Hapkido in you, feel free to challenge Baekhyun more. Otherwise, please listen to me. I don't want you to die. Or break any of your limbs," Kyungsoo said, shocking both the taller guys with his words.

"Why do you both look so shocked?" Baekhyun frowned, offended by how shocked the two were. The only way for them to be so shocked was if they actually thought he was a weakling and he really would want to kick their if they tell him that.

After another beat though, Chanyeol started clapping his hands. "That's awesome!"

Baekhyun's almost anger on his roommate receded when he heard that, feeling quite proud now. Jongin though, didn't say anything and just continued walking.

"So you can like, kick people's , right?" Chanyeol asked as they walked.

"Of course. I handled all the bullies that tried to make fun of Kyungie and they were all bigger than me. Some of them were even bigger than you," Baekhyun arrogantly answered.

"That's so cool! You must move like an action star! That's totally awesome!" Chanyeol laughed, shaking his head. He couldn't believe his whole image of Baekhyun in his head, being all fluffy and mellow, was all gone now and was replaced by a much manlier and cooler Baekhyun.

"I'm manly right?" Baekhyun said arrogantly, pleased with his roommate's praises, but even more please that Jongin actually shut his mouth from then until they reached the dorm.

Chapter 10: I love this story so much but the constant "noona" and "hyung" makes me cringe. You're a good writer though and really know how to describe the setting well without unnecessary detail and its really nice
