Not All Werewolves Are Good

New Friends

Yoongi staggers into a standing position, shaking his body and trying to ignore the pain lacing his limbs. Jimin. Jimin needs him. He can hear the whimpers of pain and desperation coming from him even with how far away from the smaller he is. He can hear the way Jungkook is tearing limbs from whatever is hunting them. Yoongi bites his lip as he pushes the pain away, focusing on the sounds and taking off in the same direction, feeling and hearing Namjoon and Hoseok shifting, following his trail.

A snarl of complete outrage and anger makes its way up his chest as he nears the barely visible pair, his younger brother covered in rotted blood and Jimin locking his jaws on to a creature digging their nails into his side, the smell of blood overpowering Yoongi’s senses. Yoongi jumps into the fray without hesitation, ripping a creature off of Jimin’s back, throwing him into nearby tree, hissing in satisfaction at the crunch the body gives as it crumbles to the floor. Turning to his mate once more Yoongi grabs another by its legs, tearing him away from the smaller, growling at the pained cry the nails raking down Jimin’s leg causes him. Looking over at Jungkook, Yoongi sees Hoseok sinking his teeth into the torso of a creature advancing on the preoccupied vampire.

A whine of pain makes Yoongi whip around to concentrate on Jimin, roughly pulling a creature off of the crouched werewolf’s back, flinging him away before spinning around an oncoming attacker and sinking his fangs into the creature’s neck, gagging at the taste. Yoongi startles when Namjoon appears at his side, blocking an oncoming attack. When the attacker stops moving Namjoon jerks his head towards Jimin’s whimpering form behind Yoongi’s defensive stance, a low rumble leaving his throat and Yoongi nods, turning to Jimin quickly. “Jimin. Jimin listen to me. Jiminnie.”

Jimin whimpers, jerking at the soft touch before Yoongi’s smell reaches him, turning his head towards the sound of Yoongi’s voice, whining softly at the other as he noses weakly at Yoongi’s body. Yoongi releases a vicious hiss when he sees the blood surrounding Jimin’s closed eyes, rumbling softly when Jimin flinches at his aggression. “Jimin. Can you shift back for me? Please? I can’t hold you properly like this and I need to get you home. Please.”

Yoongi smiles slightly when Jimin gives a hesitant nod and Yoongi whips around to aim a harsh kick at a reckless creature jumping at them from the right. Yoongi turns at the light tug on the back of his shirt, quickly scooping up the bruised and slightly bleeding Jimin, glancing quickly to see Taehyung next to Jungkook and Hoseok, the older werewolf nosing the younger vampire away from Taehyung’s defensive form, the younger werewolf sinking his teeth into a creature approaching Jungkook’s left, an aggravated snarl leaving his throat as Jungkook hesitates briefly before sprinting to Yoongi’s side.

Hoseok barks at them, whimpering at Jimin’s figure in Yoongi’s arms before running off into the direction of the house, the two vampires following close behind. Jungkook glances behind them when an outraged growl sounds over the mindless grunting of the deformed creatures. Jungkook shivers when he locks eyes with a man staring in their direction, one of his eyes a blood red and the other a vivid blue, narrowed as the four of them get further away. Jungkook watches the man sprint around the tangled mess Namjoon and Taehyung are in the middle of, eyes never leaving Yoongi’s back. “Yoongi…”

Yoongi snarls at the feeling of eyes on him, ing Jimin into a startled Jungkook’s arms, locking eyes with his younger brother, Jungkook in a breath at the intensity and color of the normally light red eyes, “Take Jimin and follow Hoseok. Do not look back and do not stop. Go! Now!”

Jungkook nods, tightening his grip on the whimpering and struggling Jimin, eyes flickering over to the man getting closer to where they’ve stopped, “Okay. Okay. Be careful, Yoongi.”

“Yoongi…” Jimin whimpers, blindly reaching out a shaking hand towards the direction of the older vampire, stopping his struggling in Jungkook’s hold.

Yoongi gently takes the smaller’s hand with one of his own, pressing a quick kiss to it, and the other running softly down Jimin’s face before sprinting towards the now closer stranger, tackling him to the ground with a venomous hiss.

Jungkook sprints in the opposite direction, Hoseok running alongside him as they weave through the trees, Hoseok picks up his pace as they near the house, shifting forms and skidding to a stop, slamming harshly into the door before ripping it open, ushering Jungkook inside before shifting back and letting out a loud howl. Changing back into his human form Hoseok slams the door shut behind him, locking and dead-bolting the door, gently pulling Jungkook up the stairs into the living-room, “Lay him on the couch, Jungkook. I need to look at his eyes.”

-----

Letting out a hiss of pain, Yoongi quickly rights himself from where he’s fallen, narrowing his eyes at the stranger, snarling at the smirk he’s sent. Something about this man rubs him the wrong way, and not only because of his disgusting smell and odd eye coloring.

“The little one…Jimin…he’s grown up so pretty…”

Yoongi growls at him, eyes flashing dangerously in warning, the look in the man’s eyes as he speaks about Jimin making Yoongi’s skin crawl, his inner demon thrashing about the sick satisfaction the man seems to get from the thought of his smaller mate, “Don’t talk about him.”

The man laughs, raising an eyebrow, “And why not? He’s a free wolf. And he smells so good. Such a pretty young-”

Yoongi snarls viciously as he throws himself at the surprised man, the stranger not expecting Yoongi to attack so abruptly. Yoongi doesn’t give the man time to react, sinking his teeth into the man’s neck and tearing a chunk off, satisfaction running through his at the pained yell it earns him before the man roughly rakes his clawed hand down Yoongi’s back, shoving the vampire away from himself. Yoongi catches himself as he watches the man hiss through the pain in his neck, eyes narrowed on Yoongi and a hand holding onto the wound on his neck. Yoongi hisses sharply, the brown red of the creature’s blood staining his teeth, “He’s mine.

The man scoffs at him, “Yours? He doesn’t smell like a claimed wolf.”

Yoongi smirks, a tinge of hatred-fueled mania filling the curl of his lips, before he suddenly pounces on the staggering man, legs wrapping around the man’s shoulders as he grips the hands coming up to push him off, jumping to the ground behind the man and pulling the wrists he holds captive back with him, relishing in the agonized scream the man lets out as his arms are ripped from their sockets. Roughly tugging on the limp arms, Yoongi pushes his feet on the man’s torso and pulls, not flinching at the tearing sound that accompanies the splatter of rotted blood splashing across his face and shoulder, grin still in place. Yoongi moves to quickly straddle the man, pinning him down with his strength alone, leaning down to stare at the whimpering figure, Yoongi’s grin widens at the desperate look he’s given from wide dual-colored eyes, “Mine.

The creature spread around the two werewolves whine and hiss in dissatisfaction and unease as the in Yoongi’s grip stops moving when Yoongi twists his head off of his body, almost purring as he watches the blood slowly seeping out of the slightly spazzing under Yoongi’s kneeling figure. A deep howling nearby shakes Yoongi from his musing stare, snapping his head over to see Taehyung chasing the retreating creatures into the forest and Namjoon locking his jaws around the throat of a man Yoongi doesn’t recognize.

“We…should get back…” Yoongi whispers as he watches the twitching body in the alpha’s jaws stop moving, Namjoon’s muzzle staining a deep red color.

Namjoon drops, the body, growling slightly at the crumbled form, jaws snapping closed as Taehyung bounds back over to them, auburn cost a few shades darker with blood caking on his fur. Namjoon turns to Taehyung, eyeing him critically and Yoongi can see the strain on Namjoon’s muscles as the older wolf holds himself back from, what Yoongi presumes is, checking over the younger wolf.

“Should we stop at the river before we get there or-” Taehyung bounding away from them, in the direction of the house, cuts Yoongi’s hesitant question off, Yoongi sighing in relief, wanting to check up on Jimin as soon as he can. “Right. Afterwards. I agree.”

Namjoon lets out a low rumble that Yoongi assumes is amusement as the other shakes his head before following Taehyung’s excited galloping, Yoongi at his side.

-----

“Jungkook.”

Jungkook jumps at Hoseok’s soft voice, the elder having been quietly petting Jimin’s fur, the smaller male curled around Hoseok and Jungkook on the floor in front of the slightly open balcony, Jungkook settling on Hoseok’s other side. “Yes?”

Hoseok smiles at him gently, gently running a hand through his slightly damp hair, “Can you go unlock the door please?”

Furrowing his eyebrows, Jungkook bites his bottom lip, glancing out of the balcony doors, apprehensively, “Is…is it okay?”

Chuckling softly at the whispered question, Hoseok nods, turning back to the doors with a calm smile, “Yes. I don’t expect you to be able to hear them right now, not after the way those things were tackling you to the ground and screeching in your ears. But Taehyung’s excited humming is hard to ignore when I’ve listened to the same thing for over a century.”

Jungkook smiles at the thought of Taehyung, getting up to go unlock the doors, pausing at the stairway as Hoseok’s words process, turning to look at the older wolf in surprise, “A century?”

Raising an eyebrow Hoseok nods in amusement, “Yes. They’re a little over a century. We’re not sure their exact age, but we assumed by their smell and stature that they were around three years old when we found them. We’ve just been naming their ages based on that assumption.”

Jungkook nods, the way werewolves count their years of existence confusing him. Whatever. Taehyung is still youngish and playful and Jungkook can’t bring himself to worry about whatever age-gap they might have. Besides, if Jungkook would really get into it then he’d have to call his older brother a cradle-robber and the thought alone makes Jungkook gag. So, pushing the thoughts to the back of his mind seems like the best plan of action. Pausing again, Jungkook lets his eyes fall onto the still sleeping Jimin, sadness making his eyes light up softly, “What…what are you going to tell them about…?”

Hoseok smiles gently, hand petting through Jimin’s fur once more, “The truth.”

Jungkook nods again, racing down the stairs as the familiar smell of Taehyung flows faintly, quickly unlocking the door as the smell gets increasingly stronger, barely having time to throw the door open before he’s shoved to the floor with an wiggling Taehyung anxiously nosing against his face, whines leaving his muzzle sporadically. Jungkook lets out a light giggle, patting at Taehyung’s sides comfortingly. The happiness and relief in his eyes dim slightly as Jungkook watches his brother take the stairs two at a time.

“Taehyung.”

Taehyung whines once more before following the slight command in Namjoon’s voice, getting off of Jungkook and shifting into his human form. Jungkook gasps, shooting into a standing position and hands wandering over Taehyung’s form in a hurry, hissing lowly at the bruises and cuts littering every part of Taehyung’s exposed flesh, parts of his cargo pants and loose shirt ripped, blood caking the clothing.

Grinning slightly, Taehyung grasps Jungkook’s hands in his own, softly rubbing circles on the other’s slightly smaller hands with his thumbs, “I’m okay.”

“You’re covered in bruises! And cuts! And blood!” Jungkook hisses, pupils dilating as he zeroes in on the open wound on Taehyung’s exposed shoulder, feeling his throat go dry with the alluring smell.

Namjoon watches the pair quietly for a second, forcing out a small grin when Taehyung’s eyes meet his over Jungkook’s shoulders, nodding at the question in them before he turns away to follow Yoongi up the stairs, not wanting to watch Taehyung gently press a hesitant Jungkook closer to the blood seeping out of the cut.

Hoseok meets him at the top of the stairs, eyes sad as he wraps himself around Namjoon, head burrowing into his mate’s shoulder, pressing a light kiss there, a soft whine leaving his throat as Namjoon pulls him closer.

Namjoon rumbles lowly at Hoseok, wanting to reassure his mate and push his sadness away, eyes drifting to the pair on the floor, watching Yoongi whisper into Jimin’s twitching ears as the vampire softly runs his fingers through the black fur on Jimin’s back, pressing quick kisses to the young werewolf’s muzzle, smiling lightly when Jimin pushes his head more into the vampire’s lap, nuzzling into Yoongi’s stomach.

“There’s a good chance the vision will come back.” Hoseok whispers, clutching on Namjoon’s sweat-dried shirt, pain lacing his words as he stays buried in Namjoon’s comforting embrace, wishing he could take his youngest child’s pain away, “I can’t tell exactly what happened but other than the blood that’s fallen into his eyes nothing seems to have damaged them.”

Namjoon hums, swaying the two in place, eyes never leaving Yoongi and Jimin, “It could be a side effect of the mixed blood. I’m sure you saw their eyes. Whatever they were, they weren’t natural. The forced mixings of vampiric and wolven blood always has a dangerous after-effect.”

“I thought as much…” Hoseok mumbles before pulling away, “You should shower. You smell disgusting.”

Namjoon rolls his eyes fondly, gently running a hand down Hoseok’s face, smiling when the other leans into the touch, “Join me?”

“Always.” Hoseok laughs, lacing his fingers with his mates and throwing another glance, this one more serene, at the pair on the floor before dragging Namjoon towards their room.

Yoongi watches Jimin’s ear twitch as the door shuts further down the hall, leaning down to gently press a kiss on the corner of Jimin’s muzzle, “I’m glad you’re safe, Jimin.”

Jimin whines, moving himself closer to the vampire, whimpering at the soft hands in his fur. His heart hurts. He can’t seem to think beyond what his mother has told him earlier, about his eyes. He doesn’t understand how Yoongi can even be around him. He’s useless now. Yes, Hoseok said there was a good chance his eyesight will come back, but there’s also a good chance it won’t. Jimin won’t be able to hunt on his own now, or dance or-or see Yoongi. He doesn’t understand why Yoongi’s sitting there with him on the floor, petting him and whispering about how well Jimin did in the fight until he got there, reassuring Jimin that he’s okay now. That Yoongi’s there and that Yoongi won’t let anything happen to him again.

“Jimin. Shift back for me. Please? Can you do that for me?” Yoongi whispers, hands never stopping or slowing in their petting. He frowns when Jimin shakes his head, trembling as he scoots away from the vampire, “Jimin. Shift back.”

Letting out a high pitched whine, Jimin follows his orders, instinct recognizing Yoongi as his Alpha and not wanting to disobey a direct order. Jimin shakes slightly as he sits in front of Yoongi on the floor, hands trembling as they clutch desperately onto his knees, eyes squeezed shut in a vain hope of stopping his oncoming tears.

Yoongi lets out a low almost purr, gently removing Jimin’s white-knuckled hands from their death-grip, pulling the younger into his lap, running soothing hands up and down his back, waiting until the smaller male uncertainly shifts closer, hesitantly knocking his nose against Yoongi’s neck, questioning and unsure whines leaving his own throat. Yoongi grabs Jimin’s limp hands and wraps them around his own neck, smiling gently when they clutch onto his shirt desperately, “Jiminnie…what’s your favorite food?”

Jimin startles, leaning closer, a confused whimper rising up, as he hesitates, “…meat?”

Chuckling, Yoongi moves to pet his hair softly, “Yes. I know that. What kind?”

“U-um…d-deer?” Jimin asks, unsure of the questions and his own answers.

Humming with a nod, Yoongi thanks the gods that it’s an easy creature to hunt and catch, “Okay. Thank you. For answering. And for shifting back. I didn’t mean to snap at you.”

Jimin relaxes hesitantly, biting his bottom lip as he gives a questioning nuzzle to Yoongi’s shoulder, relaxing further when Yoongi just continues to pet him, “You gave me an order, Yoongi. I didn’t follow it, You have the right to…snap at me.”

Frowning Yoongi pauses in his petting, staring down at the younger in confusion, “What do you mean?”

Whining at the loss of contact Jimin pushes his head into the stationary hand, “You’re my Alpha, Yoongi. I’m meant to follow your commands; not disobey them.”

An excited warmth flutters through Yoongi at Jimin’s statement, a happy smile lighting up his face before he frowns again, pulling back to cup Jimin’s face, “It was a request, Jimin. Before it was an order, it was a request. I…will try my hardest to never command anything from you, unless it’s absolutely necessary.”

Jimin blinks, frowning softly, hesitance pouring from him, “Do...do you…still…”

Yoongi nudges against Jimin’s cheek in a very werewolf way, “Do I what?”

Biting his lip, Jimin whines softly, pushing his face into Yoongi’s shoulder once more, “Want me…”

Wrapping his arms around the smaller male’s waist tighter Yoongi purrs deeply, pressing multiple kisses to wherever he can reach of Jimin, “Yes. Yes. Of course. Why wouldn’t I?”

Jimin burrows into Yoongi’s colder body, willing his heart to calm down, as tears fall from his eyes, “Be-because I can’t see! I-I’m useless now. I can’t—can’t-”

“Shh. Shh. Just because you can’t see doesn’t make you useless.” Yoongi reassures, running his hand through Jimin’s hair.

“But-but I can’t even hunt on my own, now! I can’t dance! I can’t-” Jimin cries harder, clutching onto Yoongi and pushing himself impossibly close, voice weak and full of pain, “I can’t see you…”

Yoongi frowns at the sorrow Jimin is showing, “That’s why I asked what your favorite food was. I don’t mind hunting for you. I’d probably take an unnecessary joy in it, too. Hunting, I mean.”

Jimin bites his lip as a small smile makes itself known, the thought of Yoongi hunting for him making his heart flutter happily.

Feeling the slight difference in Jimin’s body language, Yoongi grins, happy to have calmed his mate even if by only a little, “And I’m not much to look at, I promise.”

“That’s not true! You’re handsome! So handsome!” Jimin exclaims in mild outrage at his mate’s words.

Chuckling, Yoongi shakes his head, “If you say so. I think I look like a walking corpse and smell like dead things.”

Jimin leans back to whack Yoongi lightly, a scowl on his tear-stained face, eyes narrowing, a low growl leaving his throat, “I just said you’re handsome and I’ve said before I like your smell! It’s comforting and makes me feel safe! Don’t talk about yourself like that!”

Laughing Yoongi gives into the urge he’s had for a while, pressing his lips quickly to Jimin’s, laughing louder at the bright blush covering the smaller’s face, leaning his forehead onto Jimin’s, “I’ll stop if you stop.”

“Stop…what?” Jimin wonders what Yoongi means, not understanding the request.

“Stop thinking about yourself as useless and I’ll stop thinking about myself as a smelly dead thing.” Yoongi explains, smiling at the huff it gets him.

Jimin fiddles with the hair at the back of Yoongi’s neck, laying his head on his mate’s shoulder, relaxing completely at Yoongi’s words and his smell. Jimin is going to look on the bright side, Mama said there was a really good chance the impaired vision will go away as his eyes heal from the onslaught of mixed and foreign blood, Yoongi still wants him and Jimin can still smell everything and everyone. Mama and Taehyung and possibly Jungkook, will help him move his body to the dances and his instinct and natural rhythm will take over after that. So, Jimin will be content with his life. His brother and his mate are alive. His Mama and Papa are alive. And his mate is alive and still wants him. Smiling happily, Jimin presses forward to kiss Yoongi’s neck, humming, “Okay. Deal.”

So, I'ding this story here. I think. I'm pretty sure. Yeh. Though, I am contemplating doing little one-shot stories of their lives after this.  Is this an okay ending point? Do you guys want random snippets of their lives? Let me know what you guys think, okay?

Chapter 8: Love your story! So cute and yet intense at the same time. I would love to have snippets. Can I suggest one. Can I have a taekook one where tae is letting kook feed from him? I was curious about how it would turn out in the beginning when tae asked about if they would be human or animal if they fed from them. It got worse when you hinted at them doing it after the fight. You can make it fluff or rated m if you want, if you decide to write this snippet, that is.

Chapter 8: You deserve an award for the best author ever! I swear, I love this story! Every. Single. Word. The pairings you put are spot on, too. I didn't ship NamSeok at first, but now you've made me ship them, plus TaeKook and YoonMin, hard.

Also, please for the love of everything holy, make an epilogue or snippets of their lives in the future! I really wanna see how they are doing.
