Mark smiled to himself, watching the girl smile and nod to one of his friends. He waited until her friend left her alone before he made his way towards her desk.

"Hey." he smiled and sat down in front of her. "Received another compliment from JinYoung again?" She nodded.

"He'll stop one day. Trust me.. he told her. "I don't understand why they keep on telling you that you're like a goddess." he shook his head. "You are so not like one."

"Yah!" she hit his arm lightly. "Don't be mean, Mark!" He laughed.

"But seriously.... You? A goddess?"

She pouted.

"Yeah, you're cute sometimes, but definitely not a goddess."

"You're not a god, either, you know."

"No one tells me I am." he shrugged. "Unlike you, who receives compliments almost every day that you're a goddess."

"At least I'm complimented." she said.

"You're so proud of the fact that you're complimented, Suzy." he smiled at her.

"You know you love me, Mark."

He ruffled her hair.

"Just continue reading, Suzy." he told her.

"Never mind." she said, closing her book.

"Suddenly changed your mind?"

"Yup." she nodded.

He laughed. "Should we go, my princess?"

"Don't make me laugh, Tuan." she smiled. "You know full well I'm not a princess."

"But you're beautiful like one."

"Thanks, but just shut up, will you?"

He smiled and wrapped his free arm around her waist, bringing her closer to him.

"You know, Suzy, I always wonder why you don't want to be called a princess by your own boyfriend but you don't mind it when people, who is not your loving boyfriend, call you a goddess?"

She pushed him away playfully.

"It's different if it's you." she said.

"Different? In what way?"

"You're my best friend, Tuan."

"But I'm also your boyfriend."

"Even though." she shrugged.

He smiled and put his arm around her shoulder.

"You, Bae Suzy, will never be a goddess to me. I know you too much, so I can't call you a goddess."

"Why not?" she pouted.

"You're beautiful, yes, but you're not a goddess to me. You're just my human girlfriend."

"And you're just my loving yet annoying boyfriend."

"Yup!"

She laughed.

"So you admit you're annoying?"

"Of course. You've been telling me that for six years, how could I possibly deny it now?"

"I suppose..."

She smiled and took his hand in hers.

"Why do they even call you a goddess? Because you're attractive?"

She shrugged.

"They should get to know you better before calling you a goddess. Take me, for example. I know who you really are so I'd never ever call you a goddess."

He smiled innocently at her as she hit his arm.

"Why? It's true. You're not a goddess, and you never will be."

"How are you my boyfriend?" she sighed.

"Because you love me, that's how."

Mark sent a glare towards his friend.

"Sorry, Mark." JinYoung apologized. "But your girlfriend is really a goddess."

Mark bit his lip to keep himself from smiling.

"You're laughing..." JaeBum noticed.

"Shut it, JaeBum," Mark mumbled.

"Why are you laughing?"

Mark shrugged.

"Are you crazy?"

Mark shook his head.

"Did you do something again?"

"Park JinYoung!"

JinYoung laughed.

"Why?" JinYoung smiled. "I didn't do anything. I just said your girlfriend is a goddess. That's it. I'm not trying to steal her from you or anything."

Mark raised his eyebrows.

"I'm serious!"

JaeBum laughed at the two of them.

"JinYoung's not that desperate, Mark." JaeBum smiled.

"Don't you ever dare try to flirt with my girlfriend, Park JinYoung."

"Hyung's getting protective over Suzy! This is a first!"

"Shut up. She's my girlfriend, of course I'd be protective!"

JinYoung smiled.

"You never acted that way before, you know."

"I know."

"What's with you?"

"Love, Park JinYoung. Ever heard of it?"

JaeBum and JinYoung laughed.

"You're the only one left without a girlfriend, JinYoung. I have one, and Mark has Suzy."

"You do?!"

JaeBum laughed at his friends' reactions.

"Yes, I do."

"Since when?"

"Since last month,"

"And you're only telling us just now?!"

"Your problem for not bothering to listen."

JinYoung sighed.

"Who is she?" Mark questioned.

"Who else would it be? You guys know I'm only interested in one girl."

Mark and JinYoung were silent for a while.

"Kang SoRa?"

"Suzy~" Mark called, smiling.

"Yes?" Suzy raised her eyebrows, walking over to him. 

"JinYoung likes you."

"Tell him I'm not interested."

Mark burst out laughing at her answer.

"So straightforward."

"Don't care. I'm really not interested, anyway."

"You're amazing, Bae Suzy."

"You only realized that just now?"

Mark laughed again and put his arm around her shoulder.

"Love you, Suzy."

"I hate you, Mark."

His lips formed a pout.

"Don't pout. Acting cute doesn't suit you." she patted his cheek.

"Eyyy~"

"You're so weird sometimes."

"So are you."

"You're just crazy."

Mark sighed.

"You know, Suzy, sometimes you're so sweet but other times, you're just really...."

"Indescribable?"

"Yup. It's like you have split personalities. One that's extremely loving and sweet, and other half is basically you being mean to me. Not to mention, partly crazy, too."

"That's not split personalities, Mark. That's just part of my charm."

"Charm? Okay....?"

Mark couldn't understand how they ended up together. Bae Suzy was so strange sometimes that it made him wonder what was wrong with her.

Was he just crazy for falling in love with this so-called goddess?
