‘Divided’ have been Jongin’s favourite band for a while now. He can remember the first time he heard them play so clearly. He had been a freshman in high school, back in Korea, and Junmyeon had handed him a shiny new CD after Friday classes. “Listen to this,” he had said. On the front cover, Divided stood united for their debut album.

The talented and handsome Chanyeol on drums has perfect timing – not only on the drums; he knows exactly when to ad-lib to keep the audience screaming for more. Bass belongs to the charming Jongdae, a musical genius who has the manners of a prince. He looks like one, too. Girls and boys alike swoon at his feet. Baekhyun, lead guitarist and backing vocals, cradles his instrument like a child. When he sings, the crowd is transported to heaven. Yixing plays rhythm guitar and writes the lyrics. He's a Chinese sweetheart. Although these members are near perfection, the one Jongin has been sweet on from the beginning is Kyungsoo: lead vocal and pianist. Kyungsoo’s voice hooks a hole in Jongin’s chest and no matter how hard he struggles he is helpless to the pull.
