Thanks to Taeyang who actually tailed Jay to the love lock bridge, Jay was now being rushed to the hospital, accompanied by a few paramedics who were trying their very best to keep him breathing and to stop his blood from flowing out. Sasya and Taeyang were now waiting outside the emergency room feeling so distress and anxious to know the results.

Taeyang was extremely guilt-ridden recalling back on how unfair he used to be treating his brother and wished he could be taking over Jay's position who was laying unconciously on the hospital bed because a cruel, mean person like him truly deserve that kind of treatment instead. He remembered the short reunion they had earlier and tears flowed down his cheek without him noticing it. He felt like he will experience this long term guilt like a gesturing foetus in his mind. More than 10 years of mean treatment will take a life time to be forgiven. Suddenly, Mr and Mrs Park came running towards him and bombarded him with continuous questions that made Taeyang felt so irritated as whatever was being asked had a great impact of his guilt towards his brother. Sasya stared at them without interrupting.

"AARRGGHHH!!! WILL THE BOTH OF YOU JUST SHUT UP?!!HE WILL BE FINE!" Taeyang fumed and stormed away from there

Putting herself in Jay's parents shoes, urged her feet to make her way to them and elaborate whatever had happened. So with no further a due, she went towards them and introduced herself. Both Mr and Mrs Park gave Sasya a who-are-you kind of stare and upon remembering that Jay once told her that his mum knows a bit of English, Sasya elaborated everything to Mrs Park who kept on letting out tears of remorse after knowing what his son had been through from the moment he got kicked out of the house. Sasya placed her hands on Mrs Park's and calm her down.

"He may not show it but he forced himself to accept how his family treats him. If he could accept all of your flaws, why can't you accept his? There is always room to change and I believe with family support he will be able to turn into a new leaf. It's not too late Mrs Park. Parents will never ever have the heart to abandon their children and love must be shared equally," Sasya adviced her when she just let out a very assuring smile that she would fulfill it.

Suddenly, the door of the emergency room flung open and the three of us rushed towards the doctor. Thankfully, nothing severe happened and Jay was under doctor's observation. While Mr and Mrs Park rushed towards their son, Sasya searched for Taeyang to tell him about the good news. He was nowhere in sight when after a few minutes of thorough search, she found Taeyang sitting on one of the benches located outside the hospital, with his head resting against his table, hiding the fact that he was crying extremely hard for the sins he had done.

Sasya went to join him and dare not speak anything incase if he were to venge his anger on her next like what he did to his parents earlier. Upon sensing her presence in front of him, he cooly composed himself, wiping away his tears on his long sleeve sweater. He then, lifted up his head showing his guilty, swollen eyes that almost made Sasya's heart stop beating.

"I...I'm here..to..to inform..you that..nothing...serious...happened to your brother. H..he.is fine," Sasya stuttered in fear, without looking into his deadly stare

With no response, Sasya stood up when Taeyang told her to sit. Sasya turned to face him who was looking so emotional right now. Due to that, Sasya made her way back to her seat, being so awkward and afraid at the same time.

"After living with you under one roof, has he been eating well? Has he been living life well? Has he been sleeping well?" Taeyang asked

Sasya nodded, feeling a bit thankful that a mean and heartless person like him would be so caring to be curious about his brother's condition. Just by a minor accident could have a tremendous impact him.

"He always talked about you. Some of the stories he told me when the both of you were young were quite hilarious though and I find it really sweet. By the way he told me, I can see it through his eyes that he truly misses you. He was sad that the brotherly moments that the both of you once had tend to reduce as you grow up. Sadness engulfed his entire world when you started showing your hatred towards him. He told me he was so depressed about it but forced himself not to show it. I'm quite surprise that he could still be patient about it and accept all of those unfair treatments like a poison. His high expectations on hoping that you would accept him never died because he believe that you'll realised your mistakes one day," Sasya explained

"Taeyang, it's ok to make mistakes but the important thing is, you've realised from it. You're not called a human if you've not done any mistakes ever in your life. No one is perfect. It's not too late to say your sorry to him. I think that's a reason he still live. Trust me when I say this. His only wish was to reunite with his family and he had been striving to achieve it day by day. Can you do me a favour? Please make his wish come true? Treat each other fairly alright? You don't even have to kneel down and begged for forgiveness to make him happy. Just accept him for who he is and be understanding to one another," Sasya adviced him

"I will and I must. Thank you. So how did you met my brother?" he asked and their conversation expanded

The clock strikes 9pm and Taeyang insisted his parents to go home to get some rest while he looked after Jay. Sasya was so worried that she had forgotten about her flight to California. She stayed by Jay's side, holding onto his hands, her lips moved desolately in prayers. Taeyang decided to give some privacy and exit the ward.

"I'm not going anywhere, I promise," Sasya lamented, moving his hands towards her temple, hoping really hard for him to open his eyes

THE NEXT DAY

Sasya was awaken by the bright morning sunlight that was protruding through the peach-coloured curtains. Taeyang entered the room with two cups of hot coffee. He was about to place Sasya's coffee on the side table but upon seeing that she was fully awake, he handed it to her straight. She thanked Taeyang and took a sip. Having high expectations that Jay would wake up, she shook his body gently and called his name. Taeyang just watched in silence. Sadly, Jay was still in a statue mode, being so mute and still with eyes closed. A dark mood came over her instantly and she started to sob sorrowfully.

The silence was then broken by the sound of a woman who was sounding so pissed and annoyed. Sasya stood upright immediately and her eyebrows creased in disbelief, trying to confirm whatever she heard was just an illusion.

"Mum?" she wondered when the ward door flew open

"SASYA!! Aren't you supposed to be back in California yesterday? What on earth are you doing here?" she yelled, monitoring Taeyang and Jay after that

"Mum?!!! What are you doing here?" Sasya exclaimed in awed

"What am I doing here?? What am I doing here? To take you home obviously!! Your dad is lying on a hospital bed and you could still act like as if nothing serious happened? And about Daniel!!" she fumed

Sasya's stomach contracted after hearing that name and there was not much to say because by the tone in her mum's voice, it's being stated that she knew about the rejection thingy.

"We sure have lots to talk about your relationship with him. Now let's go to the airport. I've booked a private plane," she roared and grabbed onto Sasya's arm but for the first time ever in her life, she let go of her mum's grip harshly

"What is wrong with you? We're going home!!" her mum argued

"No mum. I have to stay," Sasya argued back

"Wow, now you dare to talk back to me? What happened to you lately? See what I mean when I object you to travel? You seemed to be so obssessed with it that it tends to change you.You're becoming more rude, you are starting to go against me. That's it Sasya, this will be your last time travelling overseas alright? NOW LET'S GO!" her mum raged in anger, force pulling her arm but Sasya kept forcing her arms to be away from her mum's grip.

They had a mother and daughter arguement which lead to some emotional moments that Sasya couldn't hold back her tears that she had been storing inside for her parents to witness it one day about their treatment towards her. Taeyang watched from far and felt a bit pity and sorry for her to lead such a miserable life, even though she came from a wealthy family.

Upon knowing a little bit of English language, Taeyang roughly knows what the arguement was all about and he was afraid if he were to interrupt, it will make situation worst. Sasya's mum kept blaming Jay who she assumed to be the reason why her daughter rejected Daniel. Taeyang clenched his fist when he heard those sarcastic assumptions of his brother which was partly not true at all. In the end, after lots of explanations, persuading and no matter how bad Sasya totally refused to go back to California, her mum really grabbed hold of her arms tightly this time and dragged her out of the ward.

"No more buts young lady!! You're going home now!!" Sasya's mum snapped

"NO MUM!! WAIT, YOU CAN'T DO THIS!! PLEASE!!! I...TSK...TSK... I HAVEN'T SAID A PROPER GOODBYE TO HIM!!! MUM PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO ME!! JAY!!" Sasya cried, begging her continously

Taeyang watched in agony. He was about to help but was being blocked by Sasya's mum personal bodyguard.

"JAY!!! WAKE UP!!! TSK...TSK..." Sasya wailed her heart out, causing all of the nurses and patients to look at her

Her mum managed to drag her until the door when Sasya used her strength to pull herself back in. She successfully popped her head back inside the ward, giving a long lasting look towards Jay with tears drenching her cheeks.

"JAY PLEASE WAKE UP!!" Sasya cried

"AARRGHHH!! STOP BEING STUBBORN AND MOVE!!!" her mum scolded and again, managed to drag her away from the ward

Unfortunately, bad luck usually relied on absolutely perfect timing. Jay was still unconcious but too bad, no one knows that he could hear his surroundings, especially those agony cries by Sasya that really wanted him to open up his eyes. If only his weak body would give him a chance to be strong just to open those eyes of his to at least see the girl of his dreams. Haiz...life will always treat us unfairly so Jay had to torture his ears to hear the person he was extremely devoted to whining out his name continuously. The urge to stop her from going away was strong that a tear rolled out from his closed eyes, without no one noticing it.

People were staring at their direction and tend to whisper some negative stufss for acting like that in public but it doesn't bother Sasya one bit as long as she get to stay. Sasya was almost being pulled out at the entrance when she hold onto Taeyang's shirt.

"Do me a favour? If ever he wakes up please tell him, that I love him so much and tell him to wait for me. I'll promise I'll come back for him as soon as possible, at our usual place. Promise you'll pass the message to him?" Sasya said, sounding very desperate and worried

"Don't worry, I will," Taeyang assured with a nod

Right after Taeyang replied, she was being dragged towards the cab and was being forced to go in quickly. She gave Taeyang a please-don't-break-the-promise kind of look. Taeyang understand her intention and gave her a not-to-worry expression and he will surely pass the message to his brother.

With that, the cab drove off to the airport.

~3 DAYS LATER~

Jay finally woke up by a terrible nightmare about him and Sasya. First thing the his eyes was yearning to see was Sasya but disappointingly it was being replaced by someone else. Mr and Mrs Park was so relief that they gave him a hug. Instead of hugging back, Jay broked free from their embraced and was struggling to get off the bed, when Mrs Park stopped him from doing so. 

"Where do you think you're going? You're not that strong to wonder around yet. Just rest in bed so your wound would heal faster," Mrs Park adviced

"Ani...I have to find her...She's screaming for me, I can hear her!" Jay protested

"Who is her? You'd probably dreaming son," Mr Park told him

"NO I'M NOT!! I HEARD HER SCREAMING!! I have to go to her!" Jay insisted and accidentally put some pressure to his wound while standing up

That caused him to sit back down to wait for the pain to reduce before trying again. He limped when Taeyang stopped him by touching Jay's shoulder.

"She's gone," Taeyang told him

"WHAT??! WHAT DO YOU MEAN GONE??? You heard her screaming too don't you?" Jay exclaimed

"You've been unconcious for 3 days and she had left 3 days ago. Her mum came here to pick her up herself. I tried to stop them but their guards were too strong. Sorry hyung, I tried my best," Taeyang apologised, wishing he could turned back the time and stopped Sasya's mum

Jay despondently rooted down to the ground, severely in a heartbroken state that the special person went off just like that. The unacceptable fact got Jay to being so speechless in tears. His lips quivered and his heart seemed to be ripping itself off into pieces. Jay cried out to express his tragic, agony feeling that was killing him slowly inside. Placing his hands on his chest, he tried his best to fought his emotions and feeling extremely worried, his three family members gave him some comfort.

A FEW HOURS LATER

True pain was when you think that the person you love would never leave you but still did in the end. Jay hasn't been speaking to anyone, he skipped his meals and was being so unenergetic for the entire day. All he did was to lay down and cried for having to love Sasya, for having to meet her, for having to be so into her in the first place. He missed her touched. He missed being with her. If only he have the power, he would have rewind back to where they had a long embraced at the love lock bridge. The only thing that Jay was afraid was, was it worth it to be missing someone like her?

Jay felt someone movement on his bed and it happened to be his brother who was so worried about his condition, after being so mute since just now. As promised, Taeyang took a deep breath and for once in a lifetime, try to calm his brother down by giving him some positive sayings about not losing hope.

"And lastly, she asked me to pass you this message. She said she love you too much that she promise and is willing to comeback for you as soon as possible. She hoped you would wait for her, at the both of your usual hang out place which I don't know where. Gwenchana hyung, I had a feeling she'll come back for you. So my advice is, if you love her, trust her when she say she's coming back arra?" Taeyang said, patting Jay on his shoulder, brotherly while Jay continued being in is emotional world

~1 YEAR LATER~

JAY'S POV

The pain was not on the day of missing our dear ones. The pain was really when you live without them and with their presence still fresh in your mind.  I've kept myself busy for past one year but everytime I pause, I still think of her. Every single day without fail, I will go to our favourite hang out place and waited for her return but for the past ,almost one year that I've waited seemed to be a failure. People could call me dumb or ridiculous but I won't give up and I will keep fighting for her.

"I don't even care if the world was composed of billions of human beings. I just want her end of story. Please, fulfill my prayers,"I prayed in my heart as I admire the sunset, feeling so empty wihtout her standing beside me like she used to. Haiz..

SASYA'S POV 

What I had with him was worth it. It was worht it every lonely night, every tear I cry from missing him, and the pain I felt from not having him close to me. It was worth it because he was the only one. When I picture myself years from now, I see only him. No matter how painful distance can be, not having him in my life would be worse. It's hard for me to eat, sleep, and go on in life upon missing him too much. All I did was shed more tears day by day. Missing him was about doing something and wishing he was right here with me, sharing every special moments together.

"Please wait for me Jay. Promise I'll appear soon," I assured my her heart, admiring the beautiful sunset, imagining Jay was beside me

~IN CALFORNIA~

October has come to an end and the world welcomes November. After letting out her thoughts and upon realsing their mistakes all this while, Sasya's parents apologised to her, especially her dad who had been controlling her life since young. To repay back what they had done to her life, they decided to call off the engagement idea. Both Daniel and Sasya's parents were having a very complicated confrontation about the sudden cancellation about their childrens' engagement.

"We're really sorry, but we are doing this for our daughter's own good. So we will still stick to our final decision," informed Sasya's dad

Feeling so fed up, Daniel's parents immediately stormed out of the restuarant and cursed Sasya's parents continuously. Sasya's mum was worried but her husband told her not to worry about the situation. They went home bringing the good news to their daughter. Sasya jumped for joy, thanking her parents by giving them a big hug. She let go of them and gave an expression that she was about to ask for the same exact permission like she did every year.

"Mum, dad, can I please go back to Korea? It's been a year an----," Sasya said but was being cut off

"You're free to go and return as and when you like. Bring him along when you come back if you want to," her dad said at the same time hinting about Jay

"REALLY??!! FOR REAL?? DAD, YOU REALLY MEAN IT?" she asked in disbelief, lips already curving into a wide grin

Her dad gave an assurance nod and Sasya immediately, yelled in excitment. As she skipped her way towards her room, both her parents just laughed and shook their head.

Sasya reached the airport at 8am in the morning the next day since her flight was at 11am. She was having breakfast all by herself at Mac Donalds and to kill some time, she spent her time wandering around the airport. When it was almost time, she proceed to the departure hall when she bumped into Daniel who was also going overseas.

"Daniel? Are you leaving California too?" Sasya exclaimed

"Hey, Sasya. Yeah, I'm going Japan. I've been leading such a chaotic and crazy life here in California so I decided to take a break and go far away from here for a while," Daniel told her

Sasya was surprised that he could still managed a smile even though both their parents had a slight arguement yesterday.

"Daniel I...I'm sorry for what happened. I really didn't mean to make situation turn worst," Sasya apologised

"Nah, it's fine. In the first place it's not our fault at all. It's our parents fault for setting us up. They want it so much, they just have to accept the consequences. I believe each of us were already being reserved for someone much more better so I just have to wait for my time. I'm sorry for trying to fake my feelings for you and thank you...for making me realised on how stupid and greedy I was. Let's be strangers from now on shall we? All the best and hope you lead a good life in the future," Daniel wished, handing out his hand for a farewell shake

Sasya smile and accepted his hand shake for the final time. Sasya was then distracted by the announcement and excuse herself because her flight will be departuring soon.

"You have a wonderful love life with that Korean dude ayte? I believe he is the real one for you," Daniel told her

"I will and hope you will find your sould mate soon! Bye!" Sasya waved him goodbye as he respond in the same way as well

BACK IN SEOUL

The very next day, time in Seoul was now 6pm and as his daily routine, Jay was getting ready to go to the love lock brigde. Ever since he was being warded, his family was treating him with much respect and love. However, the love from only his family wasn't enough to satisfy his entire feelings. A part of him was still empty without having that special girl with him all the time. As he was changing his clothes, Taeyang entered his room.

"You're still going to that place?" Taeyang asked as he monitored his brother stlying up his hair

"Yeap. I will not stop until she return," Jay assured him, putting on his black coat and VANS sneakers

"But hyung, it's already been one year. Do you really think she will come back? What if she doesn't?" Taeyang asked again

"Then...I will still wait for her, until she appears. I'll get going first, see ya later bro," Jay said, tapping Taeyang on his shoulder before leaving

"Love really can make you go crazy. Haiz...poor hyung," Taeyang  said to himself
