Relief were being shown in Sasya's eyes the moment Jay was being revealed right in front of her. Sasya was too frightened to utter a word that only continuous tears kept flowing out from her eyelids. Jay wipe it off with his bare hands and kept telling her not to worry.

"You alright?" Jay asked being so concern as he could feel Sasya's heart racing in fear.

"I'm fine, I just want to get out of here," she pleaded

They were out of the haunted hallway a few seconds later and Sasya was still overcome with the trauma. She was still crying and lots of scary imagination started to appear in her mind. Jay was so worried that he gave her an embraced and storked her hair. He let her go and created some random jokes to make her forget about those creepy incident.It was a failure at the first few attempts but as Jay tried more, Sasya began to be so hooked up with his jokes and ended up laughing.

"Feeling better? I guess we should head home now, it's getting late," Jay suggested

Agreeing to his decision, they both headed home by taking a bus. Jay was still telling her some jokes that he could think of when Sasya's head landed on his shoulder. Jay smile and adjusted her head in a comfortable position. He couldn't resist his eyes to stare at her beauty that captures his heart fully. The fragrance of her soft, silky mahagony curls had already been glue to his nostrils. Jay carefully, without waking her up, adjusted her fringe, following the shape of her face, feeling so mesmerized by how perfectly pretty she was in his eyes. 

"I like you, Sasya," he whispered

A few Minutes Later

They alighted from the bus and took a 10 minutes walk to the apartment building. On the way there, Jay paused his pace to take a peek at his house and as well as his family that he missed so much, especially his mum. The left out feeling never failed to haunt him for the rest of his life, seeing his three other family members having a wonderful time without him. Sasya watched Jay from far with full of pity and she totally know what was going through his mind. Being concerned, Sasya walked up to Jay who had tears welling up in his eyes right now. Of course as a guy, you would never reveal your tears in front of a girl and so Jay faked a smile and laughed. He may be smiling but Sasya truly knows the darkness that had been hiding in his heart all this while.

"Let's go," Sasya suggested, holding onto his hands

The moment she turned around, a group of guys were starting to surround them. Sasya signalled Jay by squeezing onto his hand causing him to finally focused his vision on  what was happening. Upon knowing those guys who used to betray him, Jay rolled his eyes and told Sasya to ignore them. They were about to take the third step when one of the guys blocked their way.

"Eh wassup Jay? Thank you for saving us last night yeah?" thanked on of them who used to be Jay's close friend

"Pfft...yeah and thanked you for leaving me all alone to deal with those idiots. So much of a caring gang leader you are eh?" Jay insulted while Sasya felt so insecure with many pair of eyes staring at her

"Hey, come on man. Why so serious? The cops arrived and you expect us to be still? At least they didn't put you in jail right?" he added the frustration

Feeling so annoyed, he pulled Sasya along with him, brushing his shoulder harshly passed those guys but he and Sasya were being blocked again.

"We have another idiot to deal with tonight. and we really need you. You're coming with us," ordered the leader

"Do you really need me to help or to use me as a weapon for the cops? You know what Dok2 I quit!" Jay exclaimed angrily

He immediately stormed off but Sasya was being snatched away from him and was now being trapped among the guys. Dok2 let out an arrogant smirked and threatened Jay to change his mind before Sasya will be in danger. 

"You leave her alone. She have nothing to do with this," Jay warned lividly

"Well she is now. Join us or only God knows what will happened to her," Dok2 warned back

Terror gripped her entire being as Sasya tried to let go her hand off from the two guy's frgrip. Her sobbed worries Jay that he obeyed Dok2 instructions having a very risky plan in mind. Once he agreed to join them back, two of the guys shoved Sasya back to him and they ordered the both of them to walked in the middle with all of the guys guarding them. As they were not looking, Jay whispered,

"Hold onto my hand tightly. At the count of 3, we turned back and run,"

Not being obvious, Sasya gave a slight nod. In a few seconds, after the count of 3, Jay kicked and elbowed some of the mens to make some room for escape. He then pulled Sasya along with him and the both of them run as fast as they could till they were lost in sight. They ran for quite a few metres ahead and stopped by a huge fountain. Panting hard when they let out a victory laugh. 

Suddenly, the sound of the wind howling could be heard followed by continuous roaring thunder. Ominous dark clouds covered the sky and released a sudden shower onto the earth. Too bad that they did not have an umbrella with them and within seconds, they were fully drenched.

"Gosh, we really need to find a shelter!" said Sasya already taking small jogs when Jay grabbed onto her hand

"Hahaha, I know this sounds crazy but, do you wanna play in the rain? Trust me it's fun!" Jay suggested

It was sure indeed a crazy idea but those enthusiasm looked on Jay's face caused Sasya to agree to his crazy suggestion. Jay broguht her to a very slippery platform, nearby the fountain.

"Watch this," he said and move a few steps backwards.

He then sprinted forward and slide smoothly on the slippery platform and ended up on the other side of the platform.

"Try it, it's fun!" he shouted from the other end and with no further a due, Sasya did the exact same thing which turned out to be so addictive that they kept sliding over and over again

Sasya did one final powerful slide and it was too powerful that she couldn't control her speed. She used one of her foot to stop but it was too late and accidentally fell sideways. However, thanks to Jay she was safe from falling into the fountain. It was a sudden reaction that Sasya hold on tightly onto his shirt and shoved her body closer to him to prevent herself from falling again.

"I'm sorry," she apologised

"Don't mention it. You ok?" Jay asked, checking on her when Sasya imemdiately let go of him, feeling a bit awkward

"Damn this is much more fun than ice skating," Sasya exclaimed to break the awkward barrier

"Told ya. Thank you Sasya," he thanked

"For?" she asked in full of wonderment

"For making me feel wanted. Honestly, I've never felt this happy or needed before. I'm thankful to meet you in my life. You're the first person that I had bring real happiness into my life and I never ever wanted it to end. Thank you," Jay thanked her once again, trying to control his tears that were welling up in his eyelids

Sasya felt so touched that a tear roll out from her eyes as well, especially when she knows the hardships that he had been through with his family. She placed her hand on his to give some comfort, praying really hard in her heart for the best of him and for his future. As usual, Jay was trying to hide his weak side and they spent the rest of the night having their usual chatting session.

"I feel sorry about what you told me. But hey nothing in life is fair Jay. You may think my life is going on smoothly but you haven't seen the other side of my world yet. That's why I prefer travelling a lot, it tends to calm my mind down in some way. Honestly, I felt blessed upon meeting such a very one of a kind stranger like you. You not only taught me Korean language but you taught me what friendship really means. I'll cherish every moment of it," said Sasya

"Really? I mean, you're not ashamed to hang out with a guy that has a bad image like me? Everywhere I go, people always judge me though," Jay told her

"Well, I'm not one of those people.So what if you have a bad boy image? People only notice the outside but sadly they didn't study other people's inside pretty well. To tell you the truth, from what I see, you have great sense of humor and a kind heart. A girl would be lucky to have you as their soul mate," she raved

Jay blushed a little but hide it from her and he was already starting to fall in love with her even more.

"We should feel thankful that we have the chance to meet each other don't you think so? Haha! Always remember, hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny. We just have to be patient to reach that extraordinary destiny," Sasya said

~BACK IN CALIFORNIA~

Sasya's parents were having some tea session with their future son in-law including his family at a very luxurious looking cafe. They were busy chit chatting when the marriage topic was being brought up again, causing 'X' to sat upright, feeling so eager to know more about it.

"Our son here misses her so much that he kept talking about her for the past few days," exclaimed Mrs Lee

"Jinja?Hahaha, seems like he really does. Tell you what, I'll book a flight for you so that you could fly to Korea to bring our daughter back here to California. I am sure she can't wait to see you as well. Moreover, the both of you are going to be husband and wife soon so why not? I'll give you the address as well," Sasya's dad suggested

'X' agreed on the spot and assured that he will be at the airport on time for that day. As the parents were imagining about their children's after marriage life,  'X' was already feeling so impatient and if he could, he would like to fly to Korea right now.

BACK IN SEOUL 

Friendship may and often does grow into love but love never subsides into friendship. Jay had been staying at Sasya's apartment for almost a week and his love towards her kept on growing to the point that he wanted to let out his true feelings towards her but was afraid of the third party called, rejection. Apart from all that, he had been hanging out with Sasya like everyday and it has always been a fun and memorable time for the both of them. It's a Saturday today and the weather was so lovely. After visitng the pet shop to play with some cute animals, they stop by a fast food restaurant and have their lunch there. While eating their lunch, they occupied their boredom by playing some silly games.

"Ok, if you could translate the sentences that I'm about to tell you fully in english, you can have the fries," Jay suggested

"Only the fries? Pfft... alright, better than nothing. So what's the sentence? Be easy on me," Sasya asked

"Jeong-mal jeong-mal dangsin-eul joh-ahabnida. Nae insaeng-e natananeun jusyeoseo gamsahabnida. Dangsin-e daehan naui salang-eun kkut-i-eobs-eul geos-ibnida. Geulaeseo dangsin-eun nae yeoja chingu hasigessseubnikka?" Jay said the

"Are you kidding Jay? That's so long? I only know some of it. Wait, I'll try. Jeongmal means 'really' right? I really, really....errr....,," Sasya dragged as she thought of the following words

"Go on....," Jay waited

"AAARRRGGGHHH!!! I give up! That's it you can have all the fries, you selfish dude!" she grumbled fakely

"Hahahahaha!! YES!!! ALL FRIES ON ME! Nah just kidding, you can have it IF you succeed in retriving this one fried that I'm biting on," Jay challenged her

It seemed easy but surprisingly, Sasya failed on her first few attempts because Jay's blocking and moving teachnique was way too fast for her to snatch the fries. Never giving up she kept on trying but ended up laughing as Jay purposely made some funny noises.

Seconds had passed and Jay finally gave it to her. Sasya bit the other end breaking the fries into half. She began to complain while munching on her burgers and fries when on the other hand Jay was trying to be annoying, teasing her all the way in Korean language. They went to take a walk at a huge park nearby, making a fool out of themselves, enjoying the beautiful scenery and taking some pictures, doing crazy poses.

"Lots of jal saeng-gin salam (handsome guy) in the park today eh?" Sasya exclaiemd, scanning the entire area

"That includes me right? In fact, double the time good looking," Jay praised proudly

"Oh no, there goes the arrogant devil! Seriously, you have to look at yourself in the mirror. Hahaha!" she teased

"Oh crap, there goes Tasmanian devil! LOL!" Jay added

They were busy joking around when Jay accidetally knocked someone down, causing the person to scold him for being so careless. Jay apologised when he regreted doing that upon being to be face to face with someone he used to see everyday.

"As expected, as rude as always," Taeyang insulted

"Have you ever heard the word accidental?" Jay talked back

"Pfftt... I have no time to entertain your hyung. Anyways, you seemed to be happy without a family.I think it's fate. So have you been staying over at strangers house, and wasting your time on chicks? Haiz... such a pity to waste you life just like that but, oh well, it always happens to an uneducated person like you," Taeyang said sarcastically, causing Jay to clenched his fist tightly

"Hmm.. if you're wondering about mum and dad, there are doing perfectly fine without you. They are in fact much more happier than before. Mum tend to show me much more love and dad always praised me as always. You see, we don't need you at all. Just by having you will create a chaos in the family but thankfully now we could aa peaceful life," Taeyang was trying to hurt Jay's feeling when tears were already forming in Jay's eyes

"Aren't you thinking of getting yourself adopted? Great suggestion isn't it?" Taeyang added that made Jay furiously landed a fist on Taeyang's jaw

"What's the point of being so educated when you have a very ing ed up attitude? And dad's proud of having an arrogant as you? Woah, I think on his second trial, his was all corrupted for creating such a freaking satan like you!" Jay exploded furiously and was about to give him another punch when Sasya grabbed onto his arm

"Jay please stop. People are watching. He's not worth it. Please...stop...," Sasya begged with her concerned puppy dog eyes

Thanks to that Jay managed to control his anger as he glare at his brother who gave a sinister stare at the both of them, wiping off the blood stains at the side of his mouth. Sasya dragged Jay to somewhere else so that the fight wouldn't be a continuous one and slowly try to calm him down. A few minutes later, thanks to Sasya's sweet, touching words, he finally beam upon Sasya's cute reaction on creating some silly, clumsy, funny face. They headed back home, with their hands intertwined against each other. They passed by Jay's house again.

"Don't look at it anymore. You'll hurt yourself. Don't believe whatever your brother told you, it's all bull alright? Come on Jay, can you smile at least?" Sasya cheered him up

It was successful and they continued their journey when a familiar guy was sitted on the steps of the entrance of the multi storey apartment building, causing Sasya to pause her pace and stare directly towards that guy.

"What's wrong? What are you looking at?" Jay asked curiously, wondering why Sasya refused to enter the apartment

Sasya's heart was beating with full of bewilderment and fear at the same time. Whoever was right in front of her totally gave her an outmost shock that she could barely moved.

"Sasya you ok? Do you know him?" Jay asked

"Hey Sasya. What took you so long to be back? Haha, SURPRISE!" exclaimed 'X'
