[At the airport's passengers waiting lounge]

I looked at my watch for the umpteenth time as I massaged the throbbing pain on my left wrist.

Another 2 hours delay.

I was starting to get more antsy in my seat.

I looked out of the bay window to see the ground crew trying their best to clear away any icicles coating the wings and body of the Boeing 777 that I was supposed to board about 3 hours ago.

This was the 3rd delay in a span of 3 hours.

I was on my way back home from my vacation in Japan.

I visited Tokyo and Kyoto, especially Mt Fuji and the infamous 'Suicide Forest'.

I resumed back my routine of sliding back into the cushioned seat and took out my iPad to read.
