At the ice cream cafe

Lu: "I want this and this and this!"

Arielle: "Choose only one, Lu."

Lu: "But I want all of them!"

Arielle: "You are gonna fall sick if you eat so much."

Lu: "I won't!"

Arielle: "Says the one who blew his nose off last week because he had just three scoops of ice cream."

Lu: "Okay... Fine. I'll just have this."

Arielle: "That's my little boy."

At home

Arielle: "Here, wear this coat before heading out."

Lu: "I don't wanna. It doesn't fit my outfit today."

Arielle: "You're gonna catch a cold if you don't."

Lu: "I won't!"

Arielle: "Be a good boy and listen to me, okay?"

Lu: "Don't treat me like a little kid!"

Arielle: "What if I buy you a lollipop?"

Lu: "Help me wear this coat please."

At the mall

Lu: "Woah! Look at that! Awesome!"

Arielle: "Come back here, Lu!"

Lu: "Woah! Arielle you have to see this! This is cool!"

Arielle: "Don't go any further, you're gonna get lost!"

Lu: "I'm not 5-year-old!"

Arielle: "Says the one who crouched on the bench in the park, crying while saying 'why did you leave me alone!'"

Lu: "I'm still waiting for you~! Are you coming or not?"

In the kitchen

Arielle: "Stop trying to steal the food, Lu"

Lu: "......."

Arielle: "Get away from the table."

Lu: "How did you know!"

Arielle: "Your habits never change."

Lu: "I'm hungry!"

Arielle: "You said that every five minutes for the last two hours. I get it already."

Lu: "You are so mean! How can you just leave me to starve!"

Arielle: "I prepared your favorite dish."

Lu: "Arielle is the best! I love you!"

Arielle: "Am I supposed to feel loved right now?"

Lu: "Are you done? I'm hungry!"

Arielle: "Maybe not."

On the bed

Lu: "Good night, baby."

Arielle: "Good night, love."

Lu: "Do you feel sleepy now?"

Arielle: "Not really."

Lu: "Then can you read me a bedtime story?"

Arielle: "And I was wondering why you didn't ask."

Lu: "You're the best!"

Arielle: "Which story do you want?"

Lu: "The Little Mermaid!"

Arielle: "You ask for this story everyday. Aren't you tired of it?"

Lu: "There's a reason to it."

Arielle: "Because the little mermaid in this story is named Ariel? Oh, you're so sweet."

Lu: "Because I get bored of it so I fall asleep more easily."

Arielle: "Of course. What was I expecting."

Lu: "You're delaying my beauty sleep."

Arielle: "Right. Sorry."

On the sofa

Lu: "I'm thinking of being more romantic."

Arielle: "I'm not anticipating."

Lu: "Give me a chance to prove myself!"

Arielle: "Alright, let's see what you got."

Lu: "Thank you for giving me ice cream."

Arielle: "You forced me to, though?"

Lu: "Thanks for always holding my hand so I won't get lost."

Arielle: "You still got lost anyway."

Lu: "Thanks for always making sure my tummy's not empty "

Arielle: "That's a pretty difficult task, just so you know."

Lu: "Thanks for reading me bedtime story every night."

Arielle: "Can I not read The Little Mermaid then?"

Lu: "Nope."

Arielle: "Okay can."

Lu: "Thanks for being my friend."

Arielle: "You're welcome."

Lu: "But... can we be more than just friends?"

Arielle: "We are more than just friends, Lu. We're in a relationship."

Lu: "More than that."

Arielle: "Are you... proposing to me?"

Lu: "Will you..."

Arielle: "YES OF COURSE OMG LU!"

Lu: "Great! Then you can start by washing the dishes."

Arielle: "Wha-?"

Lu: "That's what mums do, no?"

Arielle: "Wha- Mum?!" 

Lu: "Yeah. I asked if you're willing to be my mum and you said yes with so much enthusiasm I was surprised."

Arielle: "Remind me why I'm still your girl."

Lu: "But you're my mummy now."

Arielle: "I need some time alone."

Lu: "What for?"

Arielle: "To rethink my life."

Lu: "Alright then. But don't forget to wash the dishes when you're done~"

Arielle flops onto the bed after entering the room. "I can't believe I actually listened to him and washed the dishes."

A yellow paper stuck on the mirror opposite her bed catches her attention. "Hmm? A post-it?

'To my baby,

Thanks for washing the dishes, you've worked hard. Your reward is in the box under your pillow.

From your love.'

Arielle reaches her hand under the pillow, her fingers immediately touches a box. She opened it with anticipation but her smile falters when she sees a paper that reads 'Tricked, again!"

She threw the box onto the bed and was about to walk out of the room when she notices a paper on the door.

'Disppointed? Well, you won't be when you see what's under my pillow.'

Arielle hesitates for a while but follows Luhan's instruction anyway. She lifts his pillow up and couldn't hide her smile when she sees a ring underneath. She hears the door open and turns around to find Luhan walking towards her with a bouquet of roses in his hand. He stops in front of her.

"We've been living together for the past 2 years and I've heard so much nagging from you during that period." Luhan watches as Arielle's shoulders slump. "But it has carved into me so deeply that I can not imagine a day without you nagging at me."

"If you would just learn to take care of yourself, I wouldn't have to nag at you."

"But the problem is, I can't. So I guess you'll have to spend the rest of your life taking care of me." Luhan's eyes reflected sincerity and love. "Will you marry me?"

"It depends on whether you will allow me to read any story other than The Little Mermaid."

"Not gonna happen."

"I'll still marry you anyway." Arielle pulls Luhan in for a kiss. The kiss was sweet and filled with so much happiness she couldn't help but smile.
