BUT.

There was a day when he was being cursed by Maleficent—a powerful fairy yet turned into a devil after his wings being snatched away by Yifan years ago before the birth of Sehun, it was all because of the greed inside the King itself thus making his own child as a victim to the curse of Maleficent.

".. and to show I bear no ill will, I, too, shall bestow a gift on the child." - Kai, the Maleficent.

"No! We don't want your gift!" - King Wu Yifan.

".. Listen well, all of you. The prince shall indeed grow in grace and beauty, beloved by all who meet him but... before the sun sets on his 16th birthday, he will prick his finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep like death. A sleep from which he will never awaken!" - Kai

"Maleficent, don't do this." - King Wu Yifan

"I like you begging. Do it again." - Kai

King Wu knelt down, mouthing 'I beg you' to Maleficent and the devil seemed to be satisfied, throwing the other a wicked smile then he added,

"The Prince can be woken from his death sleep, but only by true love's kiss. This curse will last till the end of time! No power on earth can change it!"

'True love doesn't exist.' - Maleficent

The Maleficent was actually taking a wrong step when one day, he realized that he was the one who fell in love with the Prince who would sleep till forever and the curse, could not be withdrawn.
