"i..... refuse..."

what?

wait .. did he just ..

refused me ??

as i look at krystal's priceless shock expression

of course, i understand her why

since any guy in this club

would die to have the privilege to dance with me

not boasting or anything but

thats what they say to me

everyday ..

and this ... this ... argh ...

just refuse me like that?

"w-what?"

i ask again..

"oh you didnt hear? i refuse your invitation"

krystal gasp and my eyes went wide

i was about to show him how pissed i am right now

when he spoke..

"i refuse not because i dont want to..."

huh?

i look at him questionably.

he smile

slowly walking towards me

"its just that its kind of unnatural for a lady to ask a guy so openly like that ... you know im a man with pride so, believe or not you've just step on my gentleman side ... "

and stopping just a foot away from me

i look up at him 

meeting his gaze ...

and felt my breath shorten and my heart races ..

"i dont ... undestand ..."

"you see, if i were some guy i would definitely accept it with open arms but since im not like the guys who were pointing me with sharp gazes right now ... i'll be  a gentleman to ask you properly but with the different question i hope you don’t mind i don’t really like dancing that much..."

he said scratching the back of his head 

and ..

look at me lovingly ...

that i think im melting ...

oh ... my god did i just said that?>.<

"will you ...go out on a ... d-date with me?"

a .... date?!

now did i just hear every one gasp

even i would like to give the same reaction

what a guy!

this is the first time i can’t give a proper turndown to a guy

not like the previous ones who ask me before ...

 i cant bring myself to decline him

it seems more like ..

i want to ...

 i was about to open my mouth

when he stop me ...

"you dont have to answer me right away im not even forcing you to .. im a man who knows how to wait ..but .."

that's the time he took off his coat 

and put it around me ..

while leaning dangerously close to my ear

and whisper .. "let me warn you im also a man who is so hard to resist .."

with that he let go and gave me a smirk

an irresistible smirk ..

pass by me

hands in his pocket ...

i run a hand on his coat ... feeling its warmth

and turn sideways to catch a glimpse 

at his retreating back ...

hard to resist huh ...

i though .. a smile curving my lips ...

"well ... i think your right ..."

i said in a low tone ...

the next morning

Luna's POV

*ding*dong

i heard my doorbell ring..

"BE THERE IN A MINUTE!!"

i shouted 

hurriedly putting on a shirt

and wrapping a towel around my hair

*ding*dong*ding*dong*ding*dong--

this time it rang rather forcefully

who could have visit me this early?

*ding*dong*ding*dong

i run to the door to open it

ready to scold whoever it is 

but

was cut short when i was thrown to the side

by my friend who walk inside briskly

i sigh and close the door

"okay please enlighten me Krystal as to why you want to destroy my doorbell like that and barging in my place this early?"

"let’s go shopping ... "

she  answer.

walking back and forth ignoring the question.

"huh? that's not what im asking-- and why you suddenly want to go shopping?"

"let's buy you something to wear .."

stopping in front of her. "maybe a floral printed dress ... and a pair of heels oh! Wedge lets go with that ... "

she blabber eyeing me up and down

hand below her chin

"krystal..."

"what will we do with your hair .. curl it? mmh ... no, maybe a ponytail then lets curl the ends .. yeah yeah .. it would look very adorable and ..--"

"wait krystal .."

i grab her shoulders making her stop..

i sigh ..

"what are you talking about?"

i ask confused ..

she was about to answer ..

"and please give me a clear and direct answer, okay?"

krystal drew a deep breath .. "i was telling you to dress up for your date"

huh?

"date? with who?"

krystal rolled her eyes .. "with Onew, silly! did you forget?"

"i didnt but i dont remember saying yes to him--"

just then krystal fished out her phone 

after dialling a number ..

handling her the device..

i look at it then back to her ,,,

"answer it"

i put the phone close to my ear 

without any clue who's on the other line

"hello? krystal ... did you meet with luna? i was about to call her .. hello?"

the caller's voice was definitely familiar

so familiar that even her heart beats recognizing the owner

she immediately hand krystal back the phone

sending her a glare..

she just stuck out her tongue

answering ...

"hello? yeah, im at her apartment oh really then please do, yeah yeah .. okay byee ..."

ending the call

"why do you have his num--"

ring ring ring ring ring ring 

now its my phone ringing

curious i answer it

"hello?"

holy!!

my eyes went wide ..

giving krystal a pissed off look

'what?' she muttered ...

"h-hello?"

"oh, i thought i won’t hear a response ..." he chuckle 

"how did you get my number?"

bravely spoke out the question

"its ... a secret"

came a hearty laugh from him...

i frown ..

"okay ... so , ammmh why did you called?"

"im ... about to ask for ... you know ... my invitation ... ammmh ... "

i can picture him scratching the back of his head sheepishly

i cant help but smile ...

cute ,,, 

"about what ?"

sneering at krystal 

who is giving me teasing looks ...

"you know ...last night about the date ..."

i want to laugh hearing that shy voice

from him ...

but i stop myself, clearing my throat 

"ahh .. yeah .. o-okay ... meet me up at the mall.. after lunch ... see you"

i said quickly

"huh? does that mean yes? you'll going out--"

he frantically said after a moment of silence

"bye"

"w-wait ..."

i ended the call..flustered ...

the action was caught by krystal of course

"so are we going?"

heaving a sigh, i give the slightest nod

and went back to my room ..

Onew's POV

he inhale and exhale 

a couple of times since he got here

occasionally checking on his watch ..

he felt extremely nervous

and somewhat happy

hearing Luna's answer earlier ...

though she indirectly say yes 

still she didn’t refuse

truth be told he was not expecting her to ..

since he refuse her first ..

he was waiting for her revenge for that 

but ..

it didnt came ...

and he was thankful for that

he smiled and check on his watch again ...

1:20 ... flashing back at him

so technically he was standing there 

for more than forty or fifty minutes or so 

since he arrived quite early 

im excited can you blame me?

looking from side to side

waiting for that familiar figure ...

he sigh ...

just then ...

Luna's POV

i anxiously looking at my watch

only to curse internally

im 20 minutes late ...

argh ...

i look into every faces and every place

my eyes could see in the mall

hoping to see him ..

but to no avail

"i should have given him a rendezvous place ... aish ..im so stupid"

i smack myself continuing my search 

just then i saw a man's figure just across to where im standing

wearing casual jean shorts and plain white t-shirt paired up with sneakers

and a fashionable bull cup

he look dashing and cool as ever

i look at my reflection at the nearby shop glass

thank heavens i didn’t pursue krystal idea earlier

and went on with sky blue coloured stripe polo top tacked in a flower design skater’s skirt   

paired up with my favourite Chuck Taylors

though i can say i like the ponytail krystal done to my hair

with few loose curls on the sides

i smile and sigh ...

walking towards him ..

you went up on him sneakily .. “BOO!”

As Onew jump up, startled and look behind him

you just laugh at his reaction

“you scared me ...” onew mustered a little embarrass

“oh sorry ...ammm .. i apologize for being late”

you said with a bow ... embarrassed

he chuckle and grab your shoulders

straighten you up

you met his smiling eyes

“its okay its my choice to come her early no need to apologize and besides in my book its only natural for the lady to be late for a date and its a man’s duty to wait .. “

Ending it with a soft laugh ..

You can only look down to hide the blush that creeps up your cheeks

Mentally slapping yourself for acting like

Some school girl

Beep beep

Your phone beeps indicating a new message

You took it out from your sling bag

Only to be alarmed

“don’t forget . im watching you”

Those words flash frighteningly back at you

Onew caught the tense expression of yours

And ask. “what’s wrong?”

You look up at him

expertly hiding the device

Shaking your head .. “ammh .. nothing hahhaha ..lets go?”

Onew just smile ..and nod.

You gulp.

As you felt the warm hand of him clasping yours

And you just knew this is not going to be easy ...

Luna’s POV

The mall was crowded with people from family to couples

From group of friends to school buddies

I was still feeling tense

And uneasy, scanning the place

For any sign of suspicious people

When onew poke my cheek

It made me stop to look at him

“your zoning out are you alright?”

That would mark the fifth time he ask me

This is not going to work if i wont get my mind straight

Mentally slapping myself

I offered a smile.. “yeah im fine ...”

Onew a little convinced spotted an ice cream parlour from the distance

“want some ice cream?”

He offer...

I nod at him happily dragging him along

Once there he ordered two chocolate flavoured

In cone and handed the other one to me

I gladly accept it

feeling happy

Without further ado i quickly dig in the frozen treat

I like ice cream

Well, i like everything thats edible but i personally love ice creams

It make me feel like a kid

And eventually cheers me up

Whenever someone gave me some ..

I was the food completely oblivious

Of the handsome guy across me

Giving me adoring looks

And when i did notice him finally

I grew embarrass, feeling my cheeks reddening

“sorry...”

I said.. head down

He just chuckle

“hey ,,” calling me ...

I look up to him .. “mmmh?”

Only to be stunned ..

He was leaning in, stopping a few meters from my face

I could feel my heart race wildly

As he reach a hand out to wipe something

From the corner of my mouth

“you eat like a kid ... cute”

He said smiling broadly

This is not good...
