Luna’s POV

“close you eyes and cover your ears … don’t mind what they’ve said … because …you’re an angel ….”

Those words are replaying like broken tracks on my mind

I touch my forehead where he kiss me earlier

And heard my heart go fast

Woah …

“are you okay? Does your forehead hurt?”

That voice, I look to the side and caught him

Worriedly looking at me

Worriedly?

He barely knew me

I shook my head and turn to the window

Yup im in his car

After the scene at the parking lot

He quickly told me to enter his car

So without any choice I followed him

“that’s a relief I thought your hurt somewhere”

I look at him on my peripheral vision

He has a little bruise in his lip

A swollen mark on his cheeks

And occasionally he twist his right shoulder

Your more hurt that I am …

“im Lee Onew by the way …”

He suddenly said

Making me turn my gaze at him

Noticing we stop on the red light

He has that smile plastered on his face again

The same smile he gave me earlier

“i-im .. Luna”

I shuttered.

“I know …”

He is still staring at me …

Uncomfortable, I avert my gaze to the road

 I heard him chuckle

“You’re cute  ...”

*thump**thump*

Okay this is … weird

Onew POV

“youre cute”

He remark …

She is really, when she’s uncomfortable like that

I see shes not use of getting praise …

He cant help it …

When she’s just a good distance from him

And her scent invading his nose

He cant help but … compliment her.

Just to hide his nervousness.

He continue driving when the signal turn green

A minute or so

He stop at her apartment …

She even look at him … curiosity evident in her eyes…

He went out and open her door for her …

“come on, you need rest …”

She then hurriedly went out …

And was at her door in a flash …

When he made sure she’s inside he went back in his car …

Looking at her room…

He was about to start the engine when she went out

Turn to his side …

He rolls down the window ….

*kiss*

He was down folded

Sh*t

 “t-thank y-you …”

She shuttered and ran back slamming her door…

He touch his cheeks ..

And slowly a smile lit his face

He started his car and was on the road

When he notice a handkerchief in the seat

He took it …

Smell it …

Sweet …

Wait he looks like some ert …

And shook his face

But was cut short, as he run his hands on it …

Feeling something—

“holy …”

He spread the handkerchief

LJK…

In curly letters ..

This is the same hanky his mother gave to him

And he gave this to ….

He shift the gear and drive back …

Arriving at the corner of her apartment …

“I finally found you …”

Remembering that brave little girl

He met …

3 years ago ….

*flashback*

(on the night of the accident)

He felt something hugging him …

Weakly he open his eyes

And came face-to-face

With his mom … blood oozing from her head

She smile at him …

“s-son .. a-are you .. a-alright?”

He cant mutter a word

When the tears continue on flowing from his eyes…

Seeing his mom in this state

His heart ache …

It pain so much …

“u-umma …”

He reach a shaking hand barely touching her face …

“Onew-ah …!”

He turn his gaze and saw his father at the driver seat …

“a-appa ..”

“t-thank god … don’t worry “

“u-umma …”

He sob ..

Then he felt someone wipe his tears away ,,,

“d-don’t c-cry … you’re a m-man r-right? y-you … you h-have to b-be s-strong –“

“hello?! Mister !!”

He heard a voice …

“h-help ….”

“w-wait .. ive called the ambulance and the police they’ll be here any minute now …just keep awake …”

A girl’s voice?

Then he heard a loud clunk of the door …

“mister … can you move … of course he cant ..argh .. wait …”

“m-my s-son ..”

“son?”

Then the door opened …

“maam please keep awake …”

He caught a glimpse of her face … shes crying?

“hey …”

Her hands are soft and comforting …

He was about to close his eyes …

But a gentle slap makes him open them again …

“don’t … fall asleep, or even close you eyes … you hear me … their coming …”

He nod …

“u-umma?”

He notice his mom’s eyes are closing …

“w-wait … u-umma …”

“m-my b-baby … i-I l-love y-you …”

Then she smile …

“u-umma … u-umma … !!!!”

He cried ..

There’s nothing he could do …

He heard his father’s sobs

And … hers too …

*sirens …*

The rescuing was not that easy

But luckily they were put to safety …

He was laying in a stretcher when he heard

The police praise the girl for her quick call..

He is too …

He close his eyes …

Remembering his mom brought him back to tears …

Then he felt something wet his hand

He reluctantly open his eyes …

And turn to the side

Seeing his savior crying …

“why are you c-crying? I-im not d-dead”

He exclaim,

She lift her head … tears flowing down her red cheeks

“i-I k-know …”

“then why are you crying?”

He ask again …

She harshly wipe her tears away

“b-because your crying … it hurts me … I saw how you cry earlier … and it pained my heart I don’t know why …maybe because im soft to people crying .. or because I feel sympathy to you …”

And cried again …

He chuckle … feeling comfort …

By her … words …

With a shaking hand he reach something in his pockets

And offer it to her ..

“wipe, you tears … you look ugly when you cry …”

She stuck her tongue at him

And took the handkerchief …from him

He chuckle …

“thank you ….”

He said … “your welcome …”                                                                     

She answered giving him a smile …

*end of flashback*

He thought he will saw her again …

But she didn’t come to the hospital

Where he and his father was confined

Until her mother’s funeral

she’s a no show …

he asks the police about her but they didn’t know too ….

Since then he secretly search for her …

He was losing hope but they met again

At that bar …

Ahhh … he felt warm inside ..at last his search is over …

He found her ..

My angel…

The next day

Luna’s POV

The happening last night keeps me awake

In short i didn’t got any sleep

I sigh .. and went out my apartment

Hailing a bus ..

Seriously how did he know where I live?

“I just … that pretty lady’s stalker”

“AAHHHH!!”

i shouted out of the blue remembering what he said,

the people in the but gave her a weird look

Embarrassed I bow apologetically

Does that mean … he’s really a stalker?

Convenience store

I yawn…

Its been like 30 minutes since I arrived

And stood behind the register

Im very sleepy

And yawn again

“no sleeping on the job..”

Came a cold voice..

I turn my head sideways

And was greeted by a pissed Jessica

I stand erect

“i-im not maam… just a little tired—“

“why did your customer last night keep you awake till morning I bet your body aches too .. “

She smirks evilly

“wait maam I didn’t—“

“oh come on … don’t be shy… is he good—“

 But she was cut short with the loud chime …

“ohhh hi …”

Jessica and I look at the newcomer..

My eyes went wide

Why is he here ??
