FRIDAY , 10.00 A.M

        I arrived at the doorstep and knocked on the magnificient looking wooden door . It was huge and

 beautifully crafted with Victorian-style designs . A typical design for a Victorian-style mansion . The dark

gray colur painted on the door gave a disturbing feeling . It look so old and worn out .

         While I was lost in my own thoughts , the door opened up by itself . There , stood a middle-aged

woman with an annoying grin plastered on her porcelain-white skin . I wonder how can she looked this pale . A

genetic trait perhaps . 

          " Welcome ! I have been waiting for you guys since last month . Come in ! " , the woman or better

known as Mrs Anne , the one who was incharged of this creepy looking mansion exclaimed excitedly . The woman

pulled my hand and took me inside the mansion . My family members consist of my father , mother and a

little brother followed me into the mansion . Starting from that day , that mansion will be our place to stay .

        The mansion was really huge . When I first entered the mansion , I was stunned . The interior design was

so mesmerizing .The walls are painted with pastel colours and the mansion was filled decorations from the 18th century .

      At first , I thought that the mansion was not that bad , but then my eyes landed on a tall angel statue

located at the corner of the living room . the statue was painted with white colour and it looked so alive as

if a real human was dipped into the paint . I dont know why but I could felt that the statue was staring at me

together with her creepy smirk . I tried to shrug it on and move on to the kitchen .

       A few hours journey from my old house had made me exhausted . I felt so thirsty that I needed some drinks

to quenched my thirst . So ,with small steps , I crept to the kitchen . I had to stay alert as I was not used

to the mansion yet . Who knows there might be some creatures lurking around in this huge manor ...
