Ailee's weight loss revealed
K-NewsIn addition to the release of her newest single, “Don’t Touch Me”, Ailee has been also been drawing the attention of fans and media for losing 10kg in the past month. Recently, at her comeback showcase, she revealed how she managed to pull it off.
She shared her experience of dieting at the showcase for her new album, “Magazine”. “I dieted through regulating my food intake and ate 500 calories a day," she said. "One meal will usually consist of 100 grams of protein like beef or fresh chicken , two cups of vegetable drinks, and fruits. I usually had two meals a day like that."
“I also exercised while dieting,” she said, admitting that her practicing for her comeback took up a lot of her energy. “The hardest part of it was probably when I had to practice singing while losing weight."
She also shared that even though she managed to lose 10kg in slightly over a month, it was not her intention from the start. “I didn’t have the goal (to lose 10kg in a month)," she asserted. "As a result of losing weight so suddenly, the people around me would say that the volume of my voice and my voice itself changed. I tried hard to ensure that the quality of my voice is the same. Now, I am getting back on track.”
