Things haven't been exactly smooth-sailing for Park Sora. Two years ago her childhood best friend turned boyfriend cheated on her and in that same year, her mother died from stomach cancer. Her brother, Chanyeol, had been her rock. The Happy Virus. The one who always picked her up when she was feeling down ... but that day, two years ago, he left. He left to go to College overseas in America and the lonliness that he was always there to protect her from came back ... and he wasn't there to shelter her anymore. So Sora decided to leave too, to study abroad in New Zealand. The country her mother came from.
Two years later, now 18, she's back. She's to be prepped to take over her mother's fashion company, Crawford & Co.
Kim Sora - 18 years old. A kind and caring person but keeps her distance. Has trust issues and a cold personality. Quite good friends with Oh Sehun. Has a business-like personality. Grew up in a loving home with a loving mother and father, loving older brother and a loving boyfriend but things began to change when her boyfriend cheated on her and her mother passed away. Chanyeol became a little colder and her father buried himself in work. Sora, having her heart broken by the people she thought she could count on the most, decided that she needed to get away. In her mother's Will it states that Sora will begin prepperations to take over Crawford & Co. when she turns 18 and will become CEO on her 19th birthday. So she gave her father the excuse that she wanted to learn about the business industry in New Zealand and study there until she's 18 but what she really wanted to do was get to know the side of the family she never knew: her mother's. After having her grandmother shut the door on her face, then and there was when she decided to not have such high expectations of someone for fear of intense disappointment again. Where she decided not to go searching for the love she once felt when her mother was still alive.
Lee Howon/Hoya - 18 years old. Has a business-like personality. Doesn't care for much. Only cares for Infinite, his little sister and his current-girlfriend, Kang Minah. Childhood friends turned lovers with Kim Sora. Heir to the Lee Financial Group. Grew up in a fairly emotionally stable family. Both parents love him very much but they were always away on business. Has a little sister named Lee Haru. She's 16 and will one day inheirit their mother's Entertainment company. It was the realization when he was 16 that both him and Sora would grow up to be rivals. That's why he pushed her away. His father sat him down one day and gave him the hard truth. The the company that Howon's father and Sora's father run are ultimate rivals. The company that Howon's mother and Sora's mother run are also rivals despite one company being in the fashion industry and another being in the entertainment industry, still hold rivalry. It's inevitable that Howon and Sora would grow to be rivals so he had to do something that would make her hate him. To spare himself the heartache of breaking up, he cheated instead. Cheating on Sora was his biggest regret but he would never admit that. Instead, he'd tell you that getting caught cheating on Sora was his biggest regret.
Park Chanyeol - 20 years old. Pretty decent guy. A little cold. Won't admit it but is really happy to see his sister after two years. Feels guilty for not being there for Sora as much as he should have been. Currently being groomed to take over the Park Financial Group once he turns 21. A little cold-hearted when it comes to some things but is more softer than he lets people see.
Kim Sooyoung - One of Chanyeol's best friend, Jongdae's, sister and also best friends with Park Sora. The only person Sora trusts with her whole heart. Studied abroad in New Zealand with Sora and returned to Seoul with her. Both parents run an entertainment company together which is another rival comapny to Honwon's mother's company. Crawford & Co. design the clothes for all the groups under Kim.E Company.
Kang Minah - Straight-up snobby .
EXO - *Note: Only some members of EXO are in the story* A bunch of really nice guys. Chanyeol's best friends. Sehun and Jongin are the only ones still at Nam HS where as the rest are either at college or have taken over their parent's companies.
Infinite - Lee Howon's bestfriends. A little stuck up but kind. Nam Woohyun, the son of the Head Master, and Lee Sungyeol, heir to the Lee Hotel Group are the ones who get along with Sora the most. Sora considers Sungyeol one of her best guy friends. Woohyun has a slight crush on Sooyoung.
Foreword
We met on our first say of primary school. Recognizing each other by our families rivalry. We were a little more mature for our ages, mostly because of our business-like family background. We knew what the future help for us and even though our parents were constantly at each other's throats, we decided to befriend each other any way. That week was spent getting to know each other and playing together at parks and during lunch breaks. He was my best friend and I was his. 10 years later he confessed to me and I willingly accepted his feelings.
"I promise you, Park Sora, that there will never be a time when tears fall from your eyes by my mistakes." He had said to me. I believed him with all of my heart ... and for a year, we were going strong, well, that's what I though. I believed him when he said that all Kang Minah wanted was his help on a school project. When he told me that she kissed him on the cheek because he saved her from falling over and bumping her head on a table, I believed him. When he told me that it was her that kissed him and that he didn't harbour any feelings for her, I believed him. When he told me that he wasn't at school because he was sick, I believed him, but that day I went to his house after school to give him soup to help he was too busy screwing Kang Minah to notice that I had walked in. The pros and cons to having a house key to your best friend turned boyfriend's house. I wasn't sad instantly, I was angry. I pulled him off of Kang Minah and threw really hot soup at his face and then punched Kang Minah in her plastic face and left.
I went home and began playing extremely loud angry music and opened my window to start throwing all of Howon's things out it. It wasn't just a one year relationship I was throwing out, it was also a 10 year friendship. Everything that that was his, that was ours went straight out the window without a second thought.

Chanyeol was walking home from school and saw through the security gate that there were things being thrown out of Sora's two-story window. He quickly made his way to all the things that were being thrown out and noticed that it was all of Howon's things, or things they made as kids. Whatever went down between them, it wasn't good. Chanyeol stood there with a little smirk playing on the edge of his mouth. He never liked that kid anyway. When things had finally stopped flying out of his little sister's window he quickly sent Howon a text.
I don't care what the happened but if you value any of the you left here then you better come get it now before I call the garbage people to clean up all you that's lying on the front yard. -C
Chanyeol took a quick glance at his sister's window to see that she had began chucking stuff out the window again. Photo frames, teddy bears, CD's and DVD's, she even pushed out a very large sterio. Chanyeol noticed Sora look out her window at him. She saw Howon putting in the security pin for the gate and run to where Chanyeol was standing.
"Watch out!" She called only her brother. Chanyeol seemed confused until her notice her begin to push a small mini flatscreen out the window.
"What the , Sora!?" Howon yelled at her.
"Is any of this stuff really important to you? Cos most of it is broken and shattered." Chanyeol said emotionlessly.
"I just came to get my school uniform I left. The rest is replacable." He said. Sora had thrown the last piece of him and her out the wondow and it was a lamp he got her a few weeks ago for her 16th birthday. It just missed his head and shattered at his feet.
"What the , Sora!?" Howon yelled at her again.
" you!! You're a ing cheating, lying bastard. Go to hell!!!" She screamed at him and closed her window so harshly the wondow shattered.
Howon turned to leave but Chanyeol held him back and punched him straight in the face. "You bastard!" He yelled. Chanyeol punched him twice more and left him on the front lawn to deal with a severly bleeding nose, a cut lip, and black eye that will show itself tomorrow.
Chanyeol stood outside his little sister's room listening to her cry. He hesitated to enter but got over hiumself and went in. He hugged his sister for what felt like hours until she stopped crying.
A month later they'll find out that their mother has stomach cancer. 3 months after that they'll be attending her funeral.
