The young man looks up from the newspaper to see his friend Jun and the top of the head of an unknown girl. He tilts his head slightly but shrugs it off. "You ready?" He says calmly as he stands up to push in the chair. Jun picks up the chair and turns it upside down to set on the table. "Yeah, but I need to go get my coat. By the way, th-" You clear your throat and cough to stop him. The duo look down at you confused wondering what's going on. In order to avoid this mess, you decide to fake a cold. "It's nice meeting you, but I'm not well at the moment." You fake a cough. "So I don't want to stay here too long. I could get you both sick." You fake another cough and sniffle. Barely opening the door, the boy suddenly speaks up. "Well, it was nice to see you. But don't forget to take some medicine ______." "Don't worry I w-" You paused. That... wasn't Jun speaking. Dammit. Stuck on whether you should just leave or stay, you stand awkwardly at the door holding the push plate. Turning around you look up to meet eyes with Xiumin wondering how he knew it was you. "So i'm guessing I don't need to introduce you two, right?" Jun suddenly speaks up pursing his lips. Xiumin just silently laughed at his comment.

Almost a full two weeks went by as Xiumin and you catched up with each other. The hangout spot was always at the restaurant since there was no where else to go. The routine was pretty much the same as well. Eat and talk, eat and talk, and more eating. You found out that the group went through some hardships and lost a few. But they were still going strong with a smile. You just couldn't believe one of them was- anyways, what's done is done. "Hey.." You nudged Xiumin with your hand. "Yeah?" He looked up from his cup of iced tea. "I'm sorry I kind of ignored you back then." "Ignored? Kinda?" "Okay, maybe ignore isn't the word." "More like avoiding ______." You look down at your drink and sigh. "I know. I'm sorry. I was just.. I don't know." Xiumin sighed as well. "You know, we didn't end our friendship on a bad note, we just drifted apart. My job tends to do that to my close friends." You nodded agreeing. Now sitting in the ambience of the restaurant you start to finish your drink until Xiumin speaks up again. "You know.. the guys miss you as well. Like around the years where you were gone including other friends, we would all wonder about you." Holding back a smile you sip the last bit of your drink and nod. "So... do you want to go and see them?" Throwing away your empty cup you sit back down and nod again. "Sure. That would be nice." "Great! Let's go now." "N-Now!?" You ask in a panicked tone. "Yeah! It'll be a surprise! Since it's close to practice hours we should go to the company right away." Feeling very hesitant now, you let Xiumin grab your hand taking you out of the reataurant walking down the street. Stoping your steps you take a deep breath and calm down. "Maybe I should visit another time?" You call out to him. Xiumin turns around and jobs back to you. "What? Why? Let's just go now. You're still on break for another hour or so. Plus we can take a cab or the bus?" Being indecisive, you finally gave up and walked with Xiumin to the nearest bus stop.

At the front of the building you see a bunch of fans waiting on the side walk hoping to see their idols. "What are you doing?" Xiumin asked you. "I don't think we can go in at this time. There's alot of girls out here." "Don't worry, we can go through the back." Xiumin smiled and took you through a secret alley that led to the back of the company. Xiumin led you down the hall meeting a door that led to stairs. Going up a few flights, he opened a door and looked out. Waiting in curiosity he grabbed your sleeve and walked down another hall making right and left turns. "Wait." He suddenly stopped. Hearing s talking loudly, he peeked around the corner he watches them all pile into the practice room as the door shuts. "Okay, let's go." He led the way once again and opened the door letting s see him first then you. However, s had their backs facing both of you quietly. Confused, Xiumin walked in more and said "Guys, what's going on? Why are you-" He stopped mid sentence in shock. All of his groupmates turned around hearing his voice and looked at both of you in shock. Still very confused you looked in the room and felt your heartbeat grow louder. Everyone in the room was just speechless. Before Xiumin or even any of the exo members could say anything, you turned around and walked away. 

You couldn't believe this. Meeting the members was one thing, but, him too?! Halfway to the staircase you felt someone grab your arm. "Wait!" He said almost nervously. To be honest, you couldn't tell if that was Xiumin or someone else. Not wanting to look you close your eyes holding the handle of the door. Frozen in place you wonder what was going to happen next. Another voice called out at the end of the hall as it grew louder. Huffing and puffing you only heard apologies spilling out of his mouth. Opening your eyes you see Xiumin looking back at you with apologetic eyes. Xiumin turns to the young man and says "Look, I don't know what's going on here but, why are you here Luhan?" Luhan glances at Xiumin then glues his eyes back to you. "I'll explain later." He says quietly. "But can you give me and ______ some privacy?" He asks still staring at you. Xiumin understood and apologized to you again leaving the area. Once again in silence you stand there not knowing what to do. The atmosphere was just awkward and you can still feel his hand on your arm. The silence was finally broken when Luhan said "It's nice to see you again." He paused letting go of you. "I've been missing you... ______." Luhan waited for you to say something back. He wondered if you would shout, cry or complain. Maybe even hit him at one point, but there was no response. He was about to say something again however you turned around and replied with "You.. missed me?" You took a breath and continued. "I really don't know what to say to that. Ever since that day-" You paused again. "When we decided to just be friends.. " "Are we?" You turn to look at your ex boyfriend. "I don't know.." Luhan held your shoulders suddenly and stared into your eyes. "Look, I'm just gonna say it. I've tried to get over you ______. I've tried to keep a girl in my life but.. it just wasn't you. I mean it." Luhan was still staring at you as he finished his confession. You were obviously taken aback. You thought he would get over you easily. But you were wrong. You didn't know what to say to him. Everytime you looked at him, memories of you together would cloud your mind. You also missed him and wondered how he was doing without you. You had feelings for him still. You know your dream meant something but deep down something kept holding you back. If you went back to him.. will things be different from the past? Is he still that Luhan? Or are you just overthinking this? Luhan noticed you deep in thought and abruptly hugged you. "I know your thinking of all the what ifs and everything I put you through. But think about what we've been through. Not only the downs, but the ups too." He held you close trying not to choke up. Tears blurred your vision as you felt him hug you. Smelling that dumb cologne you gave him three christmases ago was comfort to you. Feeling his breath near your ear made you revisit more memories printed in your mind. And hearing his voice in person made you feel at home. The void you had inside was no longer there. "Luhan.." You said. "I know most wouldn't want me to be with you. But, I want to. I need you." You expressed. Luhan smiled and hugged you even tighter. "I need you too, ______. I promise you, the past won't repeat itself." Letting go of you, you questioned Luhan why was he here in the first place since he wasn't a member anymore. "Oh, I was just visiting an old friend. We kept in touch, you know?"

~ Weeks Later ~

Sitting at the airport you get a text and stood up jogging. Arriving at the desination, you stand with other people by a gate and hold up a sign swaying it side to side waiting. Watching people meet and greet their loved ones you look around wondering where he is. An unexpected tap on the shoulder took you by surprise causing you to swing the cardboard sign at Luhan's head. "Ow!!" Luhan cried out rubbing his head. Gasping you put the sign down and rub his head. "I'm so sorry Luhan! Are you okay? Should we get an ice pack?" Luhan smiled declining. "No, it's fine." He smiled rubbing his head again. Picking up the sign he smiled with a laugh. "So where should we go? What do you want to do today?" Linking arms you rest your head on his shoulder and shrug. "Anything. As long as we're together." Luhan looked down at you and nodded. "I'd like that." Walking out of the airport, he unlinked his arm from yours and intertwined your hand with his instead. "You know, I've missed you."

YOU GUYS!!!! I finished it!!!!! /celebrates/ yay!!!!! omg i'm so curious about what you think and I know I was suppose to upload this before June 4th but I kept writing and writing. (plus waiting last minute didn't help -_- my bad..)

Thank you for giving this story so much love and requesting for an actual ending! My ending aren't that great but i'm trying to improve! (I just don't like ending/goodbyes but it has to happen in order for a new story to start ^^)
