Jessica lifted her bag up with all the strength she has in her body. “Soojung was right! I think brought too much for my three days stay in Jeju.” Jessica sighed as she lazily closed the lid of the of the storage bin of the airplane. She carefully went to her seat, passing by the person slouching on the seat beside hers, carefully skipping steps not wanting to step on this wasted person’s feet. “Such an inconsiderate person.” Jessica commented rolling her eyes on the person slouching just beside her seat, finally able to sit comfortably after all the tiptoeing she did just to avoid disturbing this person.

The blonde took off her ponytail, letting her soft, long and golden hair fall just pass her shoulders to her back, fixed her bangs to the side and checked herself out on a hand mirror. “You pretty thing.” She told herself satisfied with what she’d done to her bangs. She has always been narcissist to herself but will never ever-ever-ever say this out loud where other people might  hear, it’s just one of her ways to stay confident because to be honest, she got zero confidence with her personal appearance before she started complimenting herself.

The pretty blonde shifted from one position to another to figure out the position she’s most comfortable of. “Ah nice.” She thought as she finally found her ‘position’ after several minutes of shifting and turning on her seat.

The pilot started speaking and informed everyone that they’re about to take-off. Jessica smiled to herself. “Let’s go, self” mentally patting herself on the head. Stewardess went around and instructed them to wear their seatbelts and turn off their mobile phones, where the Jessica gladly complied; she couldn’t help but glance at the person beside her, waiting for her to wake up and to turn off her phone or something. “Is this person even alive?” she observed the person’s body. Even under the blanket this person’s tummy appears to rise up and down, indicating that this person is still fortunately alive. “Such a relief.” Jessica thought and observed some more.

“Such a small framed body” Jessica commented in her mind, implying that the person wasted beside her might actually be a girl. Jessica got so lost in her trance in observing this wasted person beside her and the only thing that pulled her back to reality is the take-off, feeling the pressure in her ears making the blonde close her eyes and chew on air.

When the plane is already in the air, steadily flying over the beautiful formless clouds and several meters above the ground, Jessica couldn’t help but feel thankful that she got the window seat. Looking outside from the window seat, the girl felt light and warm; all the beauty and serenity outside made her reminisce, she couldn’t help but think about one of the biggest reason she’s on a trip right now to Jeju on her own, her old flame, Kwon Yuri.

They ended their relationship with mutual feelings and thoughts; they just fell out of love with each other, as simple as that, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt or won’t hurt both of them in as of now and in the future.

Tired of reminiscing the tired and sleepless blonde fell asleep, still thinking about her old flame. Hoping not to dream of her though, she wouldn’t want to wake up crying and smudging her make-up she just re-touched a while ago.

A loud thud and a hard bump woke Jessica up from her comfortable sleep still not opening her eyes up, she wrinkled her nose and tried to fall asleep again, she didn’t quite remember falling asleep in this position but it’s very relaxing just like sleeping with a neck pillow under her head. A perfect fit.

“Hey miss.” Jessica heard someone whispered. “Huh?” She answered thinking it was a dream. “I think we’re about to land and I’m sorry but my shoulder really hurts now, you’ve been leaning on me for more than forty minutes now.” Jessica’s eyes sprung open the moment it dawned on her that she wasn’t dreaming, she quickly sat up straight and fixed her appearance, slightly feeling dizzy with the sudden action.

She glanced at the supposedly-wasted-looking girl beside who was busying herself with her camera, an expensive looking one from the looks of it. Jessica’s flipped her hair and cleared wanting to get the attention of the girl beside her but was only ignored. “Who does this girl think she is? No one dare ignores my glorious hair.” Jessica thought as she stared at the girl who’s still busy with her expensive Leica camera.
