~ Winter 2001/ SM High School... ~

The 6th grade students were as noisy as a maket. They were freshmen, the did not know anything about their new school. In that maket, there was a girl not so tall, not so skinny. Her medium black hair was tied up by a red rubberband. White soft skin, pinky lips, big brown eyes. She was standing in center of the school yard, looking around confusingly. The bell rang, she ran to her class. She settled down and began talking to her classmates. Suddenly, the teacher walked in.

" Today, I'll change somebody's seats. "- the teacher said then poited at a boy who sat on the other side of the class - " You, change your seat with Yuri! "

Oh my God! Yuri was the one who sat next to her. From now on, she had to sit next to a boy. That boy took his bag and moved to his new seat. He put his bag down on the floor, sat on his chair and look at the ceeling. How unfriendly he was! She turned to him, smiled and asked him with a high tone:

" What's your name ? "- she opened her eyes as big as the moon.

" ... "

" What ? "- she couldn't hear him.

" ...Jae. "

" Oh! "- although she only heard the last word, she still acted like she heard them all -" I'm Kim Hyoyeon! Nice to meet you! " 

Hyoyeon, that's her name! The class periods went by boringly. There were some noisy car downtown.

" Racing cars, thousand years got one! "- that "Jae" boy laughed.

Hyoyeon smiled at his silly words. From that moment, she fell in love with his smile.
