It's never too late

"Why can't she love me?" Jiyong asks himself for the thousandth time while he is sitting on the grass in the yard of the house. He had been here for hours doing nothing but cry and try to understand..  But no, there are no response and no solutions. He has to let her go and accept that he is not part of her future. Although it hurts a lot.. he needs to be strong. Bae runs out from the house to notifies him that Bom had been taken to the hospital because she had fainted. Jiyong opts to go as well and accompany them.. after all, they are friends.

On the hospital, everyone is waiting , but in the end, Bom has nothing bad. Besides, the doctor has given them the news that soon, their family will have a new member. They congratulate the future parents when Seungri runs towards them sweating.

"Seungri, what's happens?" 

"Guys.. I just saw this... they have brought two wounded here... And I saw her.. First, I didn't think it is her. But I was wrong. Is her! Is Chaerin! She suffered a car accodent, and they say isn't in a very good contidion."

"What? Has she had a car accident?" Bom asks, scared. Depise all the situation, Chaerin is still being a special person and she loves her very much. Jiyong lifts his head and looks at Seungri. He feels that his legs no longer withstand the pressure and sits on the floor, leaning against the wall. Then he thinks on his daughter.. She also should have been in the car. The pain in still bigger.. He doesn't want to lose them like this..

"Hanel is safe?" he asks, scared by the response he can receive.

"I don't know, I didn't see her." Seungri replies looking at his friend. Bae sits beside Jiyong on the floor and gives him a hug. He knows that he needs it more than ever. If he lose them, his life would definitively end.

"I want to see Chaerin." 

"You can't see her now.. All you can do is have faith and patience. She will be fine."

Dara takes Bom to the cafeteria, trying to reassure her to not hurt the baby she is expecting. Minzy acompanies them.

"Why is this happening? Why? I don't want to lose her." Bom wonders crying in Dara's arms. 

"Nobody wants to lose her. Hopefully, everything will be fine." Dara says, traying to convince herself that she is right. 

Jiyong is still here, paralyzed. He doesn't know how to act and what to think anymore. He just wants Chaerin and Hanel to be safe. Bae had left him for a moment saying that he is going to buy him a coffee, while he was waiting in the hallway. Jiyong lowers his head and sighs, trying to control his emotiones and his desire to end it all. His little hope had disappeared..or maybe not.

"Daddy?" he hears a soft voice and then lifts his head to meet the little girl's gaze. She is here.. alive. But how? Hanel runs into her father's arms and hugs him tightly, crying into his chest. 

"Mommy is fine, right?" she asks with with tears in her eyes, afraid of what happened to her mother. How is she here? Well, she was taking advantage of that Dae wasn't in the car, got out quickly and hid herself in the yard of the Bom's house. She stayed there until Daesung found and taked her to the hospital where they were and on the way he was telling her what has happened. 

"Yes baby, she will be fine, don't worry." Jiyong plants a kiss on her forehead without breaking the hug. He is happy that she is here. 

"But where were you?"

"I was hidden in the yead of auntie Bom's house. Daddy, I don't want to leave, I want to stay here. Please, don't let mommy take me away from you."

"I won't let this to happen again. And now it's okay, but don't you ever escape like this, something bad might happened to you."

"I'm sorry. I won't escape like this again, I promise."

"Now the most important is that you're safe."

"I knew that you love me daddy." 

"Of course I love you, who said no? You're the most important to me, little princess."

A relief less.. But he is still worrying about Chaerin. One thing is knowing her away, but alive and another thing is.. lose her in the true sense of the word. Suddenly, several memories passed through his head...The times when they were happy.. when they promised to each other that nothing ever can separate them. Really, he is missing only the memories? No, definitely not! He wants her back, not to relive the memories, but to live the present. This is clear for him... but now it's too late. Bae comes back and sits beside him.

"I have some news.." Seungri says when he suddenly appears in fron of them.. They look at his friend, prepared for what he is going to say..

A couple of houts later...

"And don't forget to stay in bed and take your meds." Minzy repeats for thousandth time while Chaerin is resting her head on the pillow. Fortunately, the accident wasn't serious,  she just injured her leg and recived a small pat on the head.
