Sehun sat in one of the classrooms he remembered from his childhood as he tapped his foot to the beat of the music. He just turned 21 recently and his lover of 3 years turned 22 the day before. He was exhausted because he spent the whole day driving his older lover around town and did the things that he always wanted to. Truthfully, he wasn’t in the mood to come in for work so early in the morning just to choreograph a new dance piece. Sehun woke up grumpy when his father came barging into his room and pulled his blanket of him and telling him that he has to be at the dance school.

Sehun got up from the chair and did a few simple steps with his body. He has to complete a whole choreography but the end of next week because the school is having another showcase in two months. He spent the whole day watching different dance routines and clips from the previous showcases that the school held – including his first showcase when he was just a 2-year-old child. Both Kai appa and Uncle Chanyeol told him that this year’s showcase would be about the changes that the dance school went through. From the first showcase up till the current one. In his dance piece, he has to emphasise the change in the routines over the years. Sehun swore this has to be something more challenging and he could not get anything in his head.

Sehun turned the video player off and lay down on his back again. Different dance routines came into mind and no single one of them gave him the inspirations he needed. Sehun turned to his left and played with the ring on his left ring finger. He smiled when he remembered the smile that broke on Luhan’s face when he finally got around to getting them a promise ring. Sehun’s shoulders deflate once again when he realises that they haven’t gone pass stripping one another and he has been needier than ever lately. Many a times when they were about to get into it, Luhan would push him away with various reasons. One of which was he needs to help his mother in the kitchen.

Sehun’s train of thoughts were interrupted when he heard someone walking into the dance studio. He turned around to only see both Kai appa and Uncle Chanyeol sitting next to him. He sat up and smiled at both males who seemed to notice the aura around him.

“Hey, appa. Hey, Uncle Chanyeol.” He said quietly as he got up to remove the DVD.

“So, how is the choreography going?” Kai asked breaking the aura.

“Good. I just finished watching the previous years’ showcases.” Sehun answered simply as he kept the DVDs back in the rack.

Chanyeol nudged Kai on his ribs when he noticed that something was off with his friend’s son. Sehun has never been this quiet whenever it comes to talking about dance. He was enthusiastic and always eager to come out with new choreographies.

“Is there something on your mind, Sehun-ah?” Kai asked quietly.

“Nothing,” Sehun replied.

“Come on, Sehun. Be honest with us. We have known you long enough to know that something is wrong with you.” Chanyeol pestered. “Is this about Luhan?” Chanyeol asked. Sehun’s cheeks turned pink at the mention of his lover and Chanyeol knew what is going on.

“Are you having some relationship problems with Luhan?” Kai asked.

“No. its just.” Sehun paused as he scratched his head thinking of how to phrase his question. “Appa, how long does it take for you to finally make love to umma?” Sehun asked.

“Well, for me, I kind of made love to your mum when he was drunk. I did not take advantage of him. He came on me okay!” Kai said in surrender.

“Well, for me, we made love two months after we started going out. You can say it was something mutual,” Chanyeol said with pride.

“Two months?! That’s fast, Uncle Channie!” Sehun exclaimed.

“Are you worried that Luhan is not letting you get into his pants?” Kai said as he nudged his son.

“Yeah, kind of. I’ve tried initiating it over and over again and he keeps pushing me away! It has been 3 years since we started going out!” Sehun said in exasperation.

“Do you want us to give you a little push?” Chanyeol asked as he wriggled his eyebrows.

“Since Tao, Yixing and Minseok’s graduation party at the Parks is this weekend, we can put our plan in place,” Kai smirked.

Luhan gave the little boy one of his sweetest smiles yet again that day. The kid has been coming to the café a lot lately. Sometimes with an elderly lady, which he presumed as his grandmother, and sometimes with a man who is just a few years older than him, which he assumed that it is his father. Today was slightly different than the other days because he came with both the elderly woman and the man. They sat right next to the window because it was where the kid always chose to sit at.

Luhan got back to preparing more coffee and arranging the cakes at the display area. He has been helping his mother at the café since he got out of high school. Initially, he intended to be a florist but he realised how much he loves working at the café that he decided to help out. He took over his mother’s responsibility as the one serving food to the customers while his mother would be the one taking the orders. Kyungsoo is still working at the kitchen together with Joonmyeon. Sometimes, Minseok comes after school to help his mother. And other times, Jongdae and Zitao would be there to help with serving the customers.

Luhan looked back up when he sees the young man standing in front of the cake display, “What can I get you, Sir?” Luhan said with a smile.

“Hi.” The man said as he scratched the back of his neck nervously. “My name is Jinki. Lee Jinki. But my friends call me Onew. That kid over there is my son. His name is Yooguen,” The man started.

“Ah. I remember the three of you very well especially your son, Onew-shi. He is very adorable. I bet he got his looks from his mother or maybe from you,” Luhan replied with a smile.

“Yeah, he got it from his mom. The big eyes and chubby cheeks. His personality too,” Onew said. “But his mom passed away during birth,” He said.

“I am so sorry, Onew-shi!” Luhan said as he bowed repeatedly. “Take this cheesecake as an apology,” He said as he took out a slice of cake from the display.

“But instead of that, why don’t you go out for dinner with me. Like a date. Yooguen has been so fond of you. He talks about you everyday,” Onew said and looked up when Luhan’s eyes widened in surprise. “Its okay if you don’t want to. What am I doing asking someone out?” Onew said.

“I really don’t want to be rude, Onew-shi. But I am seeing someone right now and we are so in love right now,” Luhan said as he looked over at the entrance. The older man did the same but was met with Sehun’s glare. “But you can have this cheesecake as an apology.” Luhan continued with a smile as he pushed the cake over to Onew.

“Thank you,” Onew replied with a blush as he took the cake and hurried off to his son.

Sehun walked over to where his lover was and kissed him fully on the lips while wrapping his arms around the latter’s waist. Baekhyun rolled his eyes in response to the public display of affection. It reminds him a lot of Chanyeol when one of his customers came to flirt with him – that includes Chanyeol too. Sehun then went to the kitchen to greet his mother and take Luhan’s bag out of the locker despite the protests coming from Kyungsoo. He claimed that he has things planned for his lover and the younger ones are there to help them with the café.

The couple walked out of the café with Luhan respectfully bowed his head towards Onew. Sehun scowled at the side because he hates the idea of Luhan being too nice to his customers. “So, was the reservation true?” Luhan asked.

“Nope, I was just giving an excuse to stop that man from ogling you,” Sehun reasoned.

“You know, you have to stop being overly jealous about this whole matter. Its my job! I have to be nice to the customers. If I don’t, it would affect the café’s image,” Luhan said.

“But I hate how the customers openly asked you out. According to Jongdae and Minseok, you have about five different men asking you out per day. And that makes 1825 men per year!” Sehun exclaimed.

“Stop exaggerating, hunnie. I rejected every single one of them because I love you and this ring is enough to tell them to back off,” Luhan said.

“Whatever you say, Lu. Now, where do you want to go? Home? Or?” Sehun asked.

“Home. I just want to lie in bed and cuddle with you,” Luhan replied.

“Cuddle, it is.” Sehun agreed as the plan came across his head.

They walked back to Luhan’s home which is just a few blocks away from Sehun’s. The plan that he talked to both the older man kept repeating in his head. They reminded him over and over again that he should keep his hands to himself in this one week before the big celebration because that way they can execute the plan better. It would not hurt to control his lust for another week, right?

as for Baek, he is just being the over protective umma who is not ready to let his son go. so that explains why he is against it. it will get better over time.
