Description
In the full moon night, Minji sat in front of the river. Her cheek showed the trace of her tears that had dried. She took the knive and cut her graceful hair. The hair that her mother always cared before. She didn’t need that anymore, because no one would caress her hair. As soon as her hair floated on the river, her eyes showed determination. She determined to revenge of her mother death. With that, she was willing to throw her identity as woman to got revenge for her one and only family, her mother.

Foreword
A 17 years girl was busy feed her family cow. It was nearly night when the sun was about to set. She looked at the end of the way, but she couldn’t see her mother figure. Usually, at this time her mother would call her and asked her to come back. She furrowed her eyebrows and feel a bit strange.
“Jjanggo-yah, I should go,” Minji said. The cow just could moo-ing. Minji smiled at her cow and run. She always be a cheerful kid and loved to play with her cow since she was child.
In her way back to her house there were palace troops walk to her direction. She stopped running away and step aside. There were many horses pass her by. Her eyes suddenly focused on the middle house. There was an unconcious body hunging on the horse. She squinted her eyes and focused on the body.
“Samchon! Pilkyo samchon!” She yelled. The troops didn’t show that they would stop. They kept walking. Minji ran and tried to catch them, but the horses was too fast for her. She stopped and she remembered, her uncle was with her mother before she went to feed her cow.
“Eomoni,” she mumbled and run to her house. The nightmare couldn’t stop pass Minji’s mind. She always shook her head while keep running.
She stopped running as soon as she saw the view of her house. It was so messy. There were many horse’ footprints on her yard. Her eyes travelled to find her mom. They stopped as soon as she saw a familiar figure layed. She ran to her immidiately. There were many blood come from the body.
“Eomoni,” she mumbled while shook her mother figure.
“M..minji.,” her mother mumbled. She smiled and caress her daughter cheek.
“I’m relieved, you are okay,” Minji’s mother said weakly. Her eyes couldn’t open widely and her fingers couldn’t stop shaking. She knew her time will come soon.
“Take this.. to your..samchon,” Minji’s mother said again and gave her a knife. A small knife with unique carving on the holder.
“Eomoni. Hang in there, eomoni,” Minji said when she noticed her mother body become weaker and weaker.
“You are strong, Minji,” that’s her mother last word before she died. Minji couldn’t stop crying.
The sun was totally setting. Minji heard there were a horse noise. She stood up and ran away from her house. She was getting weaker until she stopped on the river. She was not sure what happened. But she knew that her uncle knew something, and somehow her knife could bring her to the answer she wanted to know.
