Minji walked through the crowded market. She fixed her straw hat while looked around at the market. There were so many noise from every direction. It’s normal, since it’s a market. There would be many noise from seller and costumer when they were bargaining or from a butcher when their meat got stollen by a stray cat. Minji took a deep breath and started to find some food to be eaten. It’s been 4 years since she lived and wandered alone.

Bugh! A boy bumped at Minji. Minji glanced at him to see his face, but he kept looking down and avoided Minji’s glance.

“Sorry,” he said and walked away from Minji. Minji smirked at the boy.

The boy ran after he bumped at Minji. In his left hand, he held Minji’s wallet. He took a glance at the coin, although it’s not that much he was sure he at least could buy food for him and his brother. He turned at small aisle and started counting the money.

“It’s 12 bucks,” Minji said while fixed lean her body on the wall. The boy shocked from the husky voice that he heard. He turned to see a small figure lean on the wall. He was not sure, that figure is a boy or a girl. But he was sure that she/he is the one who has the wallet. He planned to run away, but Minji hold his hand.

“woah, where are you going? I want to know about you,” Minji said.

“H..hyung. I am sorry. I just want to help my brother. If at least I can earn my money, he can have more time for himself,” the little boy stuttered and kept looking down.

“If we devided in three, then we can buy rice cakes for the three of us,” Minji said. The little boy looked up to see Minji.

“My name is Gong Minji,” she said and smiled to the little boy.

“Minji? It’s sounds like girl’s name,” he said while scratched his head. Minji just chuckled at the cute boy in front of her.

“My name is Yedam. Bang Yedam,” he said and bowed to Minji.

Minji and Yedam walked together and looked for a rice cake shop. Minji chuckled when she saw how excited Yedam was. He was the cutest person that she has been sticked to. It’s been 4 years since Minji wandered and sticked to one person in new place. She needed to know one place better and tried to gain more information before she entered the palace. For 4 years wandering, Minji knew that kingdom was not in a good condition because of the conflict with Hongje Kingdom.

“So, Yedam, why does your brother do?” Minji asked.

“My brother is a navvy. He works in Mr. Lee’s farm,” he said. Minji nodded. Before Navvy was a good job. Navvy could eat without thinking how or what should they eat, because they actually could get some food from the farm. But since Daechang kingdom had conflicted with Hongje Kingdom, farmer could be careless toward their navvy.

“He is busy training to do the test to be a part of Palace Troops,” he said. Minji nodded. Her mind flew back to the memory that she couldn’t erase. The memory of how Palace Troops took away her uncle and killed her mother.

“Hyung, why do you have girl’s name?” Yedam asked. Minji laughed at Yedam’s question. All of everything, why should he asked about her name. She hide her identitty so she could easily  sneaked to the palace to give the knife to her uncle. From what happened 4 years ago, she was not sure being her self would be safe for her.  But, she didn’t want to change her name. It’s
