Maybe this time  ♥♥

We stopped at the foot of the tree and looked up. The leaves rustle and the branches danced as the wind blew.
“Ahh this place brings back so many memories.” I said. “I know, this was like our second home.”
Chanyeol added. Chanyeol was right this was pretty much our second home. I think I spent more 
time here than he did. This tree kept most of my secrets and witnessed some of the most important
moments in my life. I thought about it a lot, like the first time I took Chanyeol here and that time.
Ahh~ that was so embrassing, and it happened here
“HAHA~ my first kiss, this was where it happened!”  I said to myself. 

“YAH! YAH! WHAT THE HELL? REALLY, KIM JORENNE!” Chanyeol yelled. I was shocked by his
reaction I didn’t know why he was freaking out. “What? Why are you so mad?” I asked him.
He had the sourest face and made a fist. “Who wouldn’t get mad with what you just said huh?” He argued. 
“What, I didn’t even say anything!” It looks like he’s about to throw a fit. “Yah~you said you had your first
kiss here! As far as I know we were the only one that always comes here. I never took anyone here, and you
did huh?” He began scolding me. Oops! I guess i said that out loud huh? But seriously, Chanyeol? 
“I never took anyone here either!” I hollered at him “Really now, then how the hell did you have
your first kiss? Did you kiss the tree?” I was getting irritated with him. How can he not remember? 
“Yah it was you that kissed me remember! You stole my first kiss!” I shouted, stomping my foot to
the ground. Chanyeol looked so guilty. “Ahh, right. I thought you kissed someone else here… 
ohh~ and sorry if I stole your first kiss.” He said as he was scratching the back of his neck. 
I should be really mad at him right now for accusing me and stealing from me! That thief!
But really how can you get mad at him. He looks too cute right now.  I chuckled and gave him a smile
“Aigoo~ its okay, I forgive you Yeollie!” It’s so weird he acts the same way but he looks really different. 

What is this? Every time I look at him now my heart couldn’t help but skip a beat. 

“You know this was the last place I saw you. I couldn’t even bring myself to see you off at the airport or
go to your house and say ‘goodbye’, it hurt too much to see you go.”Chanyeol said while walking towards 
the lake. I didn’t know why but my heart started to feel heavy and my feet felt like they were nailed
to the ground. I felt anxious. I looked at the sky you can tell the sun was about to set.
“Do you remember all the promises we made with our two hands?” He paused for a little bit and sighed.
“…we made them here, we started them here. I held on to those promises, hoping they would bring
you back… to me.” I felt like my heart was breaking just by listening to him. I felt like I broke his
heart because I left. Chanyeol… mianhe…  He lets out a chuckle and continued.  
“That’s why I know, no matter what splits us up, I’ll always be with you.” He looked
back at me and gave a smile. I didn’t know what came over me but I felt like his smile
pulled me to him. I didn’t know how I moved but I just found my arms wrapped around
his torso and my face against his back. I didn’t want to cry so I did my best to hold in my tears. 

I felt Chanyeol’s hands break my embrace and he moved me beside him. With my hands in his,
“I know we were apart for ten years so what I’m about to say might not make sense to you…
but I feel that now I know what I really need…” Chanyeol kept holding my hand. He let go of 
my left hand and touched my cheek. “…Jorenne, I need you by my side.”

He tilled my head up and looked into my eyes. My heart was beating so fast. I felt like I was
drowning in his gaze. “I love you…”Chanyeol whispered, and the next thing I know.
I felt his lips touching mine. I felt butterflies burst in my stomach. His lips started
moving and I move along with it. We kissed until I parted from him to catch my breath.
I looked at him. He was red all over and was breathing heavily. The heat rose up to my
face and I swear, I think I looked like a strawberry. Well, not as red as Chanyeol but
close enough. With a timid voice Chanyeol said “…did you know you were my first love?”
“Really?” I bashfully questioned him. “Ahh is that so surprising?”He snickered.
“…you’re my first love too…”I confessed and somehow just listening to him my heart
swelled with sweet anticipation and love. He chuckled and I looked at him, his face
glowing orange and red from the setting sun. “This is new…” he stated. I gave him a
questioning look “Huh?” “We were about the same height before, but now you have to
look up at me!” I giggled with the reality he gave me.  He was right many things have
change between us but we still felt the same way.
We stayed there for a while and watched the sunset.
