“Tiffany, you can sit beside Taeyeon, she’s a scholar actually” Mrs. Park said then she pointed out the left seat beside Taeyeon

“omo! Is she’s my guardian angel? Nnaahh Taeyeon, of course it’s not…”

Taeyeon thought to herself when she saw Tiffany is walking on her way beside Taeyeon

“hey guardian angel are you there? Can I talk?”

Taeyeon thought to herself, but she got no response. She waits for about 5 minutes until Tiffany smiles on Taeyeon

“are you Taeyeon right?” Tiffany asked with her famous eye-smile

“uh yeah” Taeyeon simply answered

“oh thanks” that’s all Tiffany said before she sited quietly beside Taeyeon. Getting all her courage, she started to talk to Tiffany

“so uh, Tiffany right?”

“yes, Tiffany Hwang”

“uh… I’m Kim Taeyeon”

“I know that you know? But I can’t tell you since I have a mission”

Tiffany thought to herself when Taeyeon introduced herself. She then remember what St. Michael told to her

~Flashback~

“Tiffany” the guardian angel head Michael called for her

“yes?” Tiffany answered

“I have a task for you” St Michael said sincerely

“what is it?” Tiffany asked dumbfounded

“I want you to protect Kim Taeyeon more because this past few days it seems like she’s thinking about killing herself more often” St Michael said to her

“but how? I’m just a guardian angel?” Tiffany asked curiously

“I want you to go down there and be a human like her”

“w-what?”

“you heard me Tiffany, but it has a limits”

“uh what is it?”

“first, you will be on her side until she graduate, second don’t let her know that you’re her guardian angel because I know Tiffany you talked to her two times already to save her from killing herself”

“ooppss sorry for that”

“it’s okay, lastly you don’t fall in love with her”

“I’m a girl too right? How can I fall for her?”

“well I’m just saying that you know… if you did one of that limits, you won’t be able to return back here in heaven anymore”

“and where will I go instead?”

“maybe in hell Tiffany”

“hell?”

“yes, so please be careful”

“can I say no?”

“you naughty angel… I give that to you because I know you can do it”

“aish… okay I will”

“thank you Tiffany and good luck on your mission” St Michael lastly said then he goes back to his work

~End of Flashback~

“uh Fany ah” Taeyeon’s voice while waving her right hand  snaps her on her own thoughts

“oh uh sorry” Tiffany apologized

“Fany, I like that”

Tiffany thought to herself when she realized what Taeyeon called her earlier.

After their class, Taeyeon knows that Tiffany is having the same schedule and course with her

“it must be fate… wait! Why did I thought about that”

Taeyeon thought to herself while walking on her way home, she goes first on the library to search about their next lesson and when she get all the points already she decided to study it on their house. When she arrived, she was being greeted with her mother

“oh Taeyeon ah, how’s school?” Mrs. Kim asked while holding a food on a plate

“it’s good” Taeyeon simply answered

“really good indeed”

“oh by the way Taeyeon ah, I want you to meet someone… she’s also studying on your school” Mrs. Kim suddenly said

“uh who umma?” Taeyeon asked while putting her things on the mini table, just then she heard a footsteps created by heals comes from the kitchen. Taeyeon slowly lift her head to see the person is and she was shock on what she saw

“Tiffany” Taeyeon said shock that Tiffany is in front of her

“annyeong Taeyeon” Tiffany greeted with of course, her famous eye-smile

“oh so you both met each other?” Mrs. Kim asked, also shock that they know each other

“dae umma, she’s also my classmate and seatmate” Taeyeon explained

“oh I see… anyway me and your appa will be gone for the next 3 months and we will be back before your graduation, for the meantime Tiffany ah here will take care of you”

“umma! I’m not a little kid anymore”

“I bet it is, based on your height” Mrs. Kim teased causing Tiffany and her to burst out laughing

“I promise Mrs. Kim, I’ll take care of her” Tiffany reassured Mrs. Kim before she leaves. Just then they heard a car arrived at the garage

“your appa is here, take care of yourself Taeyeon ah and Tiffany ah call me every day for the updates arasso?” Mrs. Kim said

“I will Mrs. Kim” Tiffany answered with a smile on her face

“study hard my daughter” Mrs. Kim said then she peck Taeyeon’s right cheek and she get their luggage. She goes to the front door of the house with Tiffany and Taeyeon is following her from behind. She twist the doorknob to open but before she goes out, Mrs. Kim said something

“by the way Tiffany ah call me auntie instead of Mrs. Kim arasso?”

“uh… but---“

“no buts Tiffany ah… okay we need to go”

“take care umma and tell that to appa too” Taeyeon said then Mrs. Kim leave their house and entered the car that is waiting for her. After they heard the car engine goes away Taeyeon goes to the living room and she sit at the couch. After she sited she gesture Tiffany to sit beside her

“you can do it Tiffany, fighting!”

Tiffany thought to herself then she sit beside Taeyeon

“erm… Fany ah” Taeyeon called awkwardly

“hmmm?” Tiffany asked then she face Taeyeon

“how do you and umma met?” Taeyeon asked curiously, Tiffany take a deep breath before she started to tell the story

~Flashback~

On the way from the school, Tiffany is now looking for a place to stay near Taeyeon’s house

“hmmm where should I look for some boarding house or hotel?”

Tiffany mumbles to herself while walking, she suddenly saw a supermarket on her right side

“I’m hungry and thirsty; I think I need to buy something here”

Tiffany thought to herself, she then goes inside the supermarket and she search for a food to eat. While lurking at the supermarket, someone shot a gun from the entrance

“ROBBERY!” the man yelled at the entrance, Tiffany saw a bunch of guys with a black masks on their faces are on their way to enter the supermarket as well. When they entered the cashier the people around him is blocking his way

“GET OUT OR ELSE I’LL GET SOMEONE TO BE KILLED” another man yelled inside, Tiffany put down her head so that no one will notice her presence. While the people are panicking about what is happening the group of men are also getting the money of the customers

“NO I CAN’T GIVE THIS TO YOU!” a voice of an ahjumma is being heard near Tiffany’s position. When she looks at the source of the voice her cell phone suddenly vibrated

[Tiffany, that is Taeyeon’s umma Mrs. Kim, you need to rescue her before something happens

From: St Michael]

Yes, that cell phone is not an ordinary cell phone but it is also her connection to heaven. When Tiffany received the message, she thinks about the better solution to get rid of the bad guys. While holding Mrs. Kim’s neck and the other hand is holding a knife, Tiffany throw a can of soft drinks to the man’s back causing him to be distracted

“WHO THROWS A CAN OF SOFTDRINKS TO ME?” the man yelled while asking all the people around him, but no one is answering him because they are all nervous to make an action, not until he gets hit by another can of soft drinks

“YAH!”

“WHAT?!” Tiffany appeared on the back of the man and this time, the man is holding Mrs. Kim’s right wrist

“WHO ARE YOU?!

“why are you always yelling? Can you please put down your voice?”

“AND WHO ARE YOU? YOU’RE JUST A YOUNG LADY YOU KNOW?” another man yelled, he’s holding a bag with full of money from the cashier, but before Tiffany will answer the policemen suddenly entered the supermarket silently

“PUT YOUR GUNS DOWN!” one of the policemen yelled after they all surrounded the scene silently

“what the, how?” the man that holding Mrs. Kim asked, but he can’t get an answer anymore because he’s getting handcuff by the chief of the police

“YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS” the man said while he’s being dragged by the chief

“you will pay this in jail” the chief answered for them, while the other policemen are arresting the bad guys, Tiffany goes to Mrs. Kim’s side to calm her. She offered bottled water for Mrs. Kim to drink. After she finish her drink, Mrs. Kim rub her chest in circular motion then she speak

“thank you young lady for saving my life” Mrs. Kim said sincerely

“it’s okay ma’am, I’m glad that I helped you” Tiffany said while showing her eye smile

“what is your name young lady?”

“I’m Tiffany”

“oh I’m Mrs. Kim, pleasure to meet you Tiffany ah” Mrs. Kim said then she offered a hand shake to Tiffany

“me too Mrs. Kim” Tiffany said then she accepts Mrs. Kim’s hand shake

“by the way are you hungry or something?”

“uh… earlier I am but not now”

“you will get an ulcer for that… I guess you need to eat something at our house”

“uh… but… is it okay? I mean I’m still a stranger”

“your face says you’re kind so I think it’s safe” Mrs. Kim said, they pause for a moment then they both chuckle

“let’s go” Mrs. Kim said, she call for a cab and they both goes to their house

-Kim Residence-

When they arrive, Mrs. Kim paid for the cab then they both go out and entered the house. Their house is just simple but it is huge on the inside

“Taeyeon must be lucky”

“come and sit at the couch Tiffany ah” Mrs. Kim ordered, Tiffany politely followed Mrs. Kim order

“wait for me here arasso? I will prepare something for you to eat” Mrs. Kim said, Tiffany nods her head shyly then Mrs. Kim goes to the kitchen immediately. After 15 minutes Mrs. Kim goes out from the kitchen with a plates on both of her hands

“come here Tiffany ah, you can eat” Mrs. Kim called her from the living room, Tiffany goes to the dining room and she get a small amount of food to her plate and eat it slowly

“come on don’t be shy, I owe you for saving my life remember that” Mrs. Kim said noticing Tiffany’s behaviour

“dae Mrs. Kim, gomawo” Tiffany said while getting another amount of food and put it on her plate. After she ate all the food that Mrs. Kim prepared for her, Mrs. Kim started to ask her about some questions

“so where are you from Tiffany ah?”

“uh… I’m from US and I was transferred to study here due to my grades”

“so where are you studying?”

“I’m studying at Seoul National University taking up business administration”

“oh my daughter is also studying there too and she also has the same course with you”

“I know right? Ooppss”

Tiffany thought to herself when she heard what Mrs. Kim told to her

“really? What year is she now?”

“she’s a 4^th year student and actually she will graduate 3 months from now”

“uh what is her name?”

“her name is Kim Taeyeon, do you know her?”

“yeah… actually she’s my classmate earlier”

“really? What a small world”

“yes because St. Michael has his ways for me to be connected to her”

Tiffany thought with a small smile on her face

“yes indeed Mrs. Kim”

“where are you living by the way?”

“uh actually…. I-I’m l-looking for some hotel or dorm”

“exactly!” Mrs. Kim suddenly yelled

“huh?” Tiffany asked shockingly

“do you want to live here instead of renting? It will cause a lot of money and as a student like you I’m sure it will be difficult”

“but Mrs. Kim, like is aid earlier I’m still a stranger”

“don’t forget what I said Tiffany ah, if you’re a thief then you already stole one earlier when I leave you… but it’s not right?”

“uh Mrs. Kim---“

“don’t be shy anymore, remember I owe you for saving me” Mrs. Kim said in a strict tone, suddenly they heard the sound of the gate that is being opened

“well I think my daughter is here already, come on surprise her” Mrs. Kim said then she goes to the front door to greet Taeyeon

~End of Flashback~

“I’m thankful Fany ah” Taeyeon said after she heard the whole story (except Tiffany’s thoughts)

“uh… why?”

“because you saved my umma, thank you so much”

“you’re welcome TaeTae” Tiffany blurted out then she put both of her hands to cover

“woah TaeTae? I like it” Taeyeon said while showing her toothy smile

“erm… sorry if I gave you a nickname all of a sudden” Tiffany apologized

“it’s okay Fany ah.. oh do you want something to eat?” Taeyeon asked her, but before Tiffany will react they both heard Tiffany’s stomach grumbled causing the both of them to burst out laughing

“I’ll take that as a yes… okay I’ll cook for the both of us” Taeyeon said while chuckling then she leaves Tiffany who is blushing because of embarrassment

“stupid stomach”

Tiffany thought to herself, she pause for a moment then she chuckle silently

After Taeyeon cooks for their dinner, Taeyeon and Tiffany are now eating their food silently and all you will heard is the sounds created by the utensils, glasses and the plates. While eating, Taeyeon can’t take the silence anymore

“I guess I have to get to know her”

Taeyeon thought to herself, she clear first before she speak

“uh… Fany ah”

“wae?” Tiffany asked then she looks at Taeyeon

“hmmm… how old are you?”

“aigoo Taeyeon, what question is that”

Taeyeon thought to herself again

“same age as you” Tiffany blurted out again

“how did you know?” Taeyeon asked curiously

“oh crap… okay Tiffany think of a better answer fast, now!”

Tiffany thought to herself when she realize what she answered earlier

“erm… your umma, yeah uh she told me when she asked me about myself earlier” Tiffany said nervously then she goes back to eat her food

“phew! That was close”

“oh right… so when is your birthday?” Taeyeon asked again then she also continue her eating

“August 1, 1989, you?”

“oh… I’m March 9, 1989… I’m 5 months older than you”

“yeah right, Taeyeon unnie” Tiffany teased Taeyeon the she clap her hands while laughing

“eeww unnie… it’s just a 5 months difference you know, I like TaeTae better”

“okay TaeTae”

“Fany ah”

“hmmm?”

“your name is familiar”

“huh? me? Of course it’s in English” Tiffany said raising her right eye brow

“uh… maybe it sounds creepy for you or you may think I’m crazy but uh…” Taeyeon is hesitated first to tell Tiffany but it seems like she feels that she needs to share it to her

“go ahead, I’ll listen” Tiffany courage her to continue

“erm… I have a guardian angel that is having the same name as yours”

“oh?... and?”

“and I ask her earlier this morning but she didn’t respond to me, until you came in our class”

“I think she’s having hints that I and her guardian angel is the same… oh well she’s right though… Taeyeon is really smart”

Tiffany thought to herself

“so you’re thinking that me and your guardian angel is only one?”

“well… uh… erm… yeah?”

“do I look like an angel TaeTae?” Tiffany asked jokingly

“well it is true indeed but I can’t tell it to you TaeTae, I have my limits”

“erm… I’m just thinking about that you know”

“HAHA arasso, sorry TaeTae”

“it’s okay Fany ah, I know you’re thinking that I’m crazy”

“seriously no TaeTae, I believe in you”

“you do?”

“yes… well maybe she’s busy that’s why she didn’t respond”

“uh… I guess so”

“okay stops that for now okay? I’ll go take a bath and sleep, good night TaeTae”

“good night Fany ah” Taeyeon said, she wait for Tiffany to go to their extra room then she started to put the plates, glasses and utensils at the kitchen sink. After she finished washing all of it she goes to her room to take a bath and sleep

The next day Taeyeon and Tiffany goes to school together since they are now living on the same roof. When they entered the room they saw all of the students are shock due to what they saw

“hi Taeyeon and oh… hi Tiffany” Jessica greeted the two with a smile on her face

“hi Tae and Tippani?” Yuri said causing Jessica and Tiffany to laugh

“what?” Taeyeon asked, curious of what they are laughing at

“nothing Tae… so  I guess Tiffany will join our group too?” Jessica said

“of course not!” Sunye suddenly popped out from behind Jessica

“you know we can change you now to Tiffany, right Tae?” Jessica asked, Yuri and Tiffany divert their look to Taeyeon on what her decision will be

“seriously… I thought to that since yesterday, goodbye Sunye” Taeyeon said in a strict voice

“but---“

“you heard her Sunye, now get lost”

“curse you” Sunye said pointing to Tiffany and to their surprise, Taeyeon grab her finger and she pull her

“curse you” Taeyeon said then she let go of Sunye’s finger, after that Sunye immediately rush to go out from the room

“finally! Nice one Tae” Yuri praised Taeyeon, but before Taeyeon will say anything Mrs. Park entered the classroom to start a new lesson

“I’m so happy that you finally fight for it TaeTae”

Tiffany thought to herself. Suddenly she feel her cell phone vibrated, she then read at the message secretly

[good job Tiffany, job well done

A smile creep on Tiffany’s face but she removed it as soon as possible.
