The Kim Family is now moving to the countryside to live their lives happily and to avoid being the topic of everyday's talk in their former neighborhood because of the intimate relationship between Key and Jonghyun. They are both males but it won't stop them from loving each other and to adopt a baby, who is now in the adolescence stage of her life. Much to their daughter's displeasure of moving to a new place, the couple is somewhat overjoyed that even after the years of suffering due to their anti social status, they can now breathe a new fresh air and away from those sneaky eyes of the people around them who doesn't accept man to man marriage but anyway they won in the end.

 

Key and Jonghyun sat in front while their adopted daughter is having a time of her life lying alone at the backseat with a bouquet of pink roses given to her by her bestfriend in her former high school. She have a grim look on her face since she knew that they moving to a new town. She sulked and read the note card with her drawn face inside the bouquet. "I will miss you ____. Your bestfriend, Kanata". She pouted after that, she'll terribly miss him too.

 

 

"____, ____, we're almost there" She lowered her bouquet, away from her face and stared at the car's ceiling, the grim look still lingered. Key scanned the new town with his eyes as he smiled brightly, "No more antagonists in our lives! New town, new house and new life. I'm excited Jjong!" Jonghyun just laughed while Key looked through the window to see that the market is a bit far from where they will going to live. "This is really different; I really have to go down just to shop". Jonghyun nodded, "We'll just have to learn to like it and everything will be back to normal"

 

 

They are passing the new school of their daughter. "Look ____! There's your new school, looks great, doesn't it?" Jonghyun said as he peered his vision. ____ just cringed, still holding the flowers. "It doesn't look so bad" Key added encouraging his daughter to like it. She sat up and titled her head to see the school that she'll eventually go to. She glared at it and snuck her tongue out to the building, not liking it. Her old school was cooler than that, she thought as she lay down again, "The school stinks! I like my old school" She said what on her thoughts while hugging the flowers.

 

 

"Ah!" She shrieked after she noticed that the flowers are getting spoiled. "Umma!" She called Key and she put the flowers near his face, "My flowers are dying!". Key just smirked. "I told you earlier not to smattered them like that." ____ sulked and went back to her seat. "We'll put them in the water as soon as we get home" Key confirmed noting that his daughter loved the pink roses.

 

 

"I finally got a bouquet and it's a goodbye present, that's depressing" She muttered, the grim look got worst. Key just half-smiled, "Your father bought you roses at your birthday, don't you remember?" He asked while examining the note card from the flowers. 

 

 

"Yeah one but it's only one rose in the bouquet unlike this" Key handed her the note card while saying, "Hold on to this. I'll open the window and quit whining. It will be fun moving into a new place like an adventure, trust me agiya and besides your appa and umma are here for you"

 

The wind caressed her face as she look through the opened window. Buildings and traditional Korean Houses were seen. There's also a mountain and a lot of trees, the air is much fresher than their previous city. Jonghyun turned right and drive the car madly; his family holds on to their seats and put their seatbelts instantly. The car went upwards and was getting a bit near to their destination.

 

Silence ruled at the moment while they are still on the car and ____ stopped muttering how she loathes the moving. Jonghyun stopped the car when he has no idea where they are now. He parked the car on the side of a huge tree and examined the area. There's a secluded path in front of them. He scratched his head. "Wait, did I take the wrong turn?" He asked himself. "This can't be right"

 

Key looked up to the town above their way, "I don't think so, look! That's our house, the blue one" he pointed. Jonghyun looked at it, "Oh you're right. Maybe I just miss the turn off" He glanced at the secluded path, "I think this way will lead us there. A shortcut, I presume" He readied himself to drive again. Key gave him a look, "Yeobo, don't take the shortcut. You always get us lost."

 

Jonghyun just smiled as he began to drive again, "Trust me, it will work". ____ noticed that there are small houses surrounding the tree beside their car. She stared at it and contemplated for a moment, weird. That's all she could think. "Umma, what are those stones? It looks like little houses"

 

 

"That's shrines. Some people think that spirits live there."

 

 

Jonghyun drive the car to the secluded path, thinking that it was a shortcut to their new home. He drive madly for a lot of times although Key and their daughter were familiar to the way he drives, they couldn't help but screamed as the ride gets too bumpy.

 

"Appa, I think we're lost" she stated still holding the flowers by her left hand and the other clinging to the seatbelt. Jonghyun chuckled, his eyes never leaving their way, "We're fine agiya. Appa's driving; we got a four-wheeled drive". "I know that, that's why I said we're lost". She confirmed and Key let out a laugh. "See, Jjong? Even our daughter agrees with me. You always get us lost".

 

Jonghyun drive the car faster than he intended to, not liking the fact that his family about his way of driving. Key and ____ screamed as the ride gets too bumpy. Jonghyun just laughed. "Agiya, sit down." Key ordered afraid that she might hurt herself if anything might happen to them. She obeyed it and went to watch the scenery that they are passing by. ____ noticed as the ride reach its full speed that inside the tree infested roadside there's a statue of an odd-shaped slug, smiling as if it greeted them. She went staring at it until her vision could no longer reach it. 

 

 

 

 

"Yeobo! Yeobo! Slow down!" Key screamed, "You're going to kill us!" Jonghyun didn't mind him but concentrates to what he was doing. Leaves and branches falling to their car as they instantly go down the path. Jonghyun noticed that there's a statue on their way so he immediately braked the car before they could hit it and die. Key and ____ let out a big sigh. They have survived. Jonghyun went out the car and examined the place they end up with. There's a huge building in front of him that looks like a tunnel of some sort. It is painted in red and the roof looked like a traditional Korean style. 

 

 

 

"What is that?" Key asked after Jonghyun went out. "Looks like an entrance" came the reply. He went further and Key began hesitating again, "Yeobo, get back in the car. We're going to be late" yet his daughter went outside too. ____ put her beloved pink roses on her seat and went to her father's side. "____!" Key called after noticing that he's still the only one who hadn't come out.

 

Jonghyun touched the building as if examining it, "This building is not old, it's fake" He concluded immediately when ____ clanged to his arm. "This stone is made of plaster" then Jjong suddenly noticed the dark pathways inside the 'fake' building he just stated. It looks so long and dark that Jonghyun couldn't help but stare at it. The wind began pushing softly their bodies as if it urges them to go inside.

 

"The wind is blowing us in" ____ confirmed. Key went to Jonghyun's side and to take a look too. "Come on, lets go in" Jonghyun suggested, the dark tunnel interests him. "I want to see what's on the other side."

 

Their daughter immediately opened to object, there's no way she'll go in there. "I'm not going! It gives me the creeps!". She continued to tug her father's sleeve. Jjong just smiled teasingly, "Don't be a scaredly cat ____. Let's just take a look." And to that, Jonghyun leads his family inside the tunnel.
