Chapter 5

Soo Hyun’s POV

The script reading went well. I guess it did. Director Jang scheduled us for another meeting the next day that’s why, I’m already awake. It’s still very early, like 4 in the morning? I’m also shocked with myself. I never did this before. I never felt so… excited for a cast meeting in my past dramas. I really don’t know, I just feel it.

Sulli didn’t talk to me anymore after I asked her about her relationship with Minho. I, too, didn’t bother her to any further extent. After the script reading, she just bowed to all of us saying that we all did well, and eventually went out together with Minho. Minho… Do they have a thing? They’re extremely… close?

I should not bother myself with other people’s businesses, should I? Besides, we’re just on-screen partners. Nothing more, nothing less.

Director Jang was very surprised to see me this early. Actually, our call time is 9am, but I arrived at the conference hall at 7:55 with my manager.

“Soo Hyun-ah, why are you so early? It’s still 8am.” Director Jang went to me smiling.

“Oh, it’s fine Director-nim, I really want to go here early. I miss filming so much that’s why I get so excited.” I’m not really sure if that’s the true reason.

“Oh, chincha? Well, I guess Sulli will be here a little later. Her manager informed me that she has a fashion show last night that’s why she can’t make it at 9. Would that be alright?” He informed me.

“Fashion show? That girl really works hard.” I thought. “Hmmmmm, really? Sulli is really busy now days. I guess she’s really tired. It’s fine director-nim.” I smiled thoughtfully.

“That girl has a lot of schedules and I’m really happy that she still accepted this project. She’s even the main event model last night. She was paired with Lee Minho. She’s really popular these days. You’re one lucky man to have her as a leading lady.” He smirked at me giving me different interpretations.

“Yeah, I know.” We both laughed.

“Anyway, the staff told me that you two look good together. And I can personally see excellent chemistry. I’m really looking forward to the two of you on-screen.” Director Jang casually said.

“Ah, chincha? Gomawo director.”   

“Hmmmm, I’ll just excuse myself for a moment Soo Hyun-ah, I’ll just fix things for our script reading later.” He then left me.

It is really a nice day. The sun is up and everybody in the staff is smiling. There’s just one weird thing. It’s already 9am, but still, I’m the only cast who’s her
