Still You
"Oppa~? Eodiya?" A little girl dressed in a yellow flowery dress called, looking around the deserted playground. Her eyes wandering over the place for any sign of a little boy with jet black hair and wearing a baby blue sweater.
"Oppa?" Her lips started to tremble, her eyes watering. She felt helpless, without the little boy, she's nothing.
She might have ran too far. And now she's lost. All because of her little prank. She just wanted to play a little of hide and seek with him. Wanting to give him a little hard time looking for her, she decided to run. And now she ended up on the playground that's too unfamiliar for her. She never wandered off alone. Her oppa was better with directions than her, thus she's always with him. And of course, their nanny Jung. But even her nanny was nowhere in sight. Scaring her even more.
"Oppa~?" She looked around one last time before sitting on the pavement, not caring anymore if it would ruin her dress. She couldn't careless about anything right now. She just wanted to go home.
She wants her oppa, her mommy.
Her oppa was right. She's a crybaby. Just the thought of not seeing her oppa and mommy anymore already made her cry. She burst in to tears, her little hands covering her face. Scared, that's how she felt that moment. And a little girl like her could only cry, like what her oppa always tell her. She needed her oppa right now, because he's her savior.
And she heard a car engine halting to a stop a few meters away from her. Thinking it might be her oppa or her mommy, she peeked through her fingers only to meet a somehow familiar pair of black eyes, looking at her worriedly. The guy, was crouching down to her level, his face watching her.
A stranger. She thought.
And whenever she and her oppa would meet a stranger, they would politely bow and hurry away back to their nanny Jung because they would feel scared. But this stranger seems different for her. She can't feel any fear. Especially when she saw his eyes. She's supposed to give him a polite smile and tell the stranger she needs to find her nanny, not stare at him through her fingers.
"Why are you crying sweetheart?" She heard him ask her. Slowly, she removed her tiny hands from covering her face to look at him closely.
She met his eyes, black. She remembered that color because that's what her mommy told her the color of her eyes every time she would comb her hair in front of the vanity dresser where she always watch her mom beautify herself even more.
Black. Just like the stranger's. She loved looking at her eyes in the mirror so she knows how her eyes look, and she could see the familiarity with the stranger's eyes.
"O-Oppa. I want my oppa. And my mommy." She whispered, her voice breakin
