"Hey give me some space !"

"Don't push me ! You cound hurt someone !”

People are really panicking , this could get serious … 

“Please walk calmly to the exit , do not push ! We’ll all get out of here quicker that way .” Sehun’s voice blasted .

"Who the hell are you ?!” One officer snapped at him while walking towards our direction .

“Police . Here’s my ID . Lets get these people organised into two lines .” Sehun ordered .

“Yes sir !” The officer immediately went and gave instructions . Wow , Sehun really has a lot of influence around .

“Where’s my baby ?! I can’t find my baby !” I look to my left and saw a lady crying .

“You’ve lost you child madam ?” Sehun walked over , still carrying me in his arms .

“Yes ! He’s only five . I was holding his hand but he got dragged away in the crowd !” She continued sobbing .

“Hmm … A child in this huge crowd could easily get injured .”

“Please help me find my baby !” She pleaded Sehun . The crowd could crush such a small boy , oh dear . We need to find him FAST .

“Sehun ! We need to help her . If she had just only lost him , he’ll still be close by .” I pleaded for the lady .

“No , my priority is keeping you safe .” He replied nonchalantly .

“Well that ! I’m an adult , i can take care of myself , but that boy is just five ! That little boy know nothing about taking care of himself !” I lashed . Doesn’t he have any sympathy ?

*Sigh* I heard Sehun sigh .

“Please …” I really didn’t want to see a mother being devastated , my mum passed away and i didn’t want anyone to suffer without having their lovely mum unlike me .

“Show me your driver’s licence .”

“What's that got to do with this … ?” The lady questioned .

“If you want my help , just do as i say !” He snapped at the lady . Gosh , rude much ? The lady rummaged through her bag and pulled out a card to show it to Sehun . I guess he orders everyone around , not just me .

“Looks real …” He muttered . Can’t we worry about this after we’ve found the missing boy ?!

“_____ , This is a stun gun .” Sehun explained , pulling it out of his back pocket .

“Why would i need … this ?” I nodded to the gun and raised a brow .

“You use it if anyone suspicious approaches you . You just need to turn it on and touch a suspect with it , the person will be incapacitated .” What if i activate it by accident ?! I shouldn’t be trusted with this omg .

“Do you think it’s really necessary ?”

“YES !” Sehun shouted . 

“Umm … Ok …” 

“That’s not a proper answer !” I flinched at his voice .

“Y-yes sir !” I immediately said .

“That’s better . Now tell me your son’s name and describe what he’s wearing .” He turned and questioned the lady after setting me on my foot carefully .

“His name is Youngjae , he’s wearing a blue hat and an orange shirt .” She hiccuped .

“Understood . ______ !” He called me .

“Yes sir !” 

“If i do not return . contact the section chief immediately .”

“Yes sir .” By section chief he should be talking about Yongguk right .. ?

“Good , stay here with the lady and don’t move .”

“Will do .” And after said , he disappeared into the crowd .

“What if my baby is hurt ?!” She started weeping again .

“It’s okay imo , Sehun will find him ! I’m sure of it .” i consoled here .

“Bu-but-“

“Sehun is the best in police force ! He will definitely bring your little boy back safely .” Sehun … please come back … After a few minutes , Sehun came back with a little boy who is crying .

“Sehun !”

“Umma !”

“Youngjae !” And Sehun released the boy’s hand , letting him run back to his mum .

“Youngjae ! Don’t ever leave me again !” She chided softly and hugged the boy in her arms tightly . Aww , what a lovely reunion . I saw her shoulders relaxed . Seeing them reminded me of my mum , i sighed . 

“_____ , are you okay ? Did anything happen ?” Sehun bombarded me with questions .

“I’m fine ! Thank you for searching for him .” I flashed him a genuine smile .

“Thank you so much young lady and young man , thank you ! I don’t know how can i ever repay you !” The mum bowed 90 degrees .

“It’s okay , i’m just glad your little boy is okay . It is the duty of the police to ensure the safety of civilians , there is no need for gratitude . ” Sehun reassured . I mentally scoffed , duty my ! But i’m glad he decided to do it . But … Maybe Sehun isn’t all that bad . The previous officer came back to us and bowed slightly at Sehun .

“I’m very sorry but it seems like it was a false alarm .” He reported .

“What was the cause ?”

“One of the staff lit up a cigarette in a no smoking area . We have reseted the alarm and the staff member will be disciplined .” I guess smoking isn’t just dangerous for our health … That staff is ing stupid though .

“You better properly train him ! I don’t want to hear that this is happening again !” He scolded the officer .

“Yes ! I’m very sorry for the inconvenience caused !” He looked down and walked away . Wow , that was harsh .

“Let’s go _____ , " he carried me up again without any warning and i looked away , trying to hide my cherry tomato face .

“Smoking … how pathetic .” Sehun scoffed .

“Umm …”

“What ?” He asked , eyes focused on the road . 

“You’re not all that bad are you ?” I sounded so shy omg why .

“What is that suppose to mean ?” He shot me a glare and went back to focusing on the road .

“I mean , saving that little boy . That was really nice of you .”

“Well , how good will it look if it got out to the press , that i had left a child behind in a potential fire ?” He reasoned .

“Oh … I thought … Never mind …” I was speechless , so he did it in order not to look bad ? What a .

“Umm … But please don’t tell anyone i went to look for the boy .”

“Why ?” I rolled my eyes . Is he embarrassed that he did it unwillingly ?

“It would just be problematic . Yongguk will not approve of this if he finds out .” I suddenly felt guilty , so it’s against their policy to do this … He’s still so cold but maybe he’s not such a bad person after all . Sorry for repeating this but you must know Sehun is a ing 1000x1000 rubik’s cube , almost impossible to solve .

“This is your apartment ?” He raised a brow .

“I know it’s a bit old but yeah .”

“Well duh i can see that ! How can you live here ?” He sassed . Wow , Sehun sassing , that’s new . Not all of us can be born into a rich family with the perfect career mapped out for us bro . Anyways , he knows that i’m just a student , how luxurious does he expect ? A mansion like a prime minister’s ? Oh , the minister is my father . I ignored his question and look up to see a dark figure standing outside my apartment block .

“Huh ?” 

“What is it ?” 

“There’s a guy standing outside my apartment .” I looked over to my apartment again and pointed a finger at the shadow .

“Suspicious ?” He asked .

“Maybe it’s just the delivery guy- WOAH .” Before i could continue , Sehun suddenly hugged me .

“Hey let me go !” I tried to wriggle out of his embrace as my heart pumps hard on my chest .

“Keep quiet .” He shushed me . I don’t see why i should be quiet , HELLO i’m being molested here ! 

“It may be an attacker dressed as a mailman .”Oh , i hadn’t thought of that , hehe stupid me . But he’s squeezing me so tight , is he trying to crush and kill me ?! Slow down heart , why are you racing !

“I think he’s gone now .” As soon as he released me , i coughed .

*Cough* *Cough*

“Don’t be a baby ! I didn’t squeeze you that hard !” Sehun implied .

“Says the huge guy that is more than 9cm taller than me , it did hurt okay !” I glared and pursed my lips .

“I need to make some thorough checks , we don’t want to miss anything .” He totally ignored me ! Omg this … Ugh !

“Give me your keys !”

“Don’t they teach you the word ‘please' in police academy ?” I rummaged through my bag .

“Quickly !” He ignored me , AGAIN . 

“Hmm that’s odd , i can’t find my keys .”

“Did you drop them or something ?”

“Maybe … But i was sure i had them !”

“Do you have a spare ?”

“Yeah i’ll have to call the manager .” I searched for my phone next .

“_____ , i want you to stay back .” He warned .

“You think … ?!” Has someone been in my apartment ?! Its finally night and you want me to go through another round of drama , fuke my life .
