He wasn‘t as popular as Luhan and not as charismatic as Xiumin, wasn’t as surprising. He wasn‘t as talented as Chen or Lay and not as sporty as Tao. His rap was average (not as good as Chanyeols) and his skills as a leader weren’t the best either (weren’t to compete with Suhos). Yifan knew all of this and yet he couldn‘t change it.

Foreword

I finally finished one of the stories that was in my head for a lo~ng time *very proud*

This was supposed to be much darker than it actually turned out, but somewhere along the writing process I changed it a bit. I think you could say that the lyrics (the lines in italic) are kind of Kris thoughts on everything surrounding him and the story itself is... well... the story... The song I used is Skillet's Never Surrender. I hope you guys like it ^-^

I have to admit I have a thing for insecure characters and in my opinion you really managed to capture their emotions and the whole story seemed to be very realistic. I just wanted to jump right into the screen, hug the both of them, pat their heads, and tell them everything's going to be fine. XD
And this story being about Kris and Chanyeol - oh, my beautiful OTP <3 - is the cherry on top!
Also the song fits the story perfectly. Thank you for reminding me of how awesome this band is. Over the years I kind of forgot about them. x'D
