“Jongin open your mouth. Ahh~” Kyungsoo is fussing over Jongin at the cafeteria in front of all their friends and they’re all wincing from secondhand embarrassment. Turns out, Jongin and Kyungsoo are an even clingier, cheesier couple than all of them combined and it’s just a nightmare to behold (according to Sehun).

Jongin blushes and opens his mouth to accommodate the chicken strips Kyungsoo is feeding him. The smile that his lover gives him is blinding and he can’t help but lean over and peck him lightly on the lips. Exaggerated gagging sounds can be heard from around them and they both look up to see their friends looking disgusted—with the exception of Sehun—he’s scowling.

Jongin and Kyungsoo both straighten up in their seats. “What?” Kyungsoo says defensively, and Jongin automatically wraps his arms around his lover’s waist, pulling him close. The table now looks like a debate table between the two of them and the rest of their friends.

“Will you guys be decent in public?”

“Spare us the bedroom eyes!”

“People are trying to eat here! In the cafeteria—in school! We’re not in the confines of your dorm room!”

“Would you two please hold back on the PDA. I’m losing my appetite,” Baekhyun complains and shoves his half eaten burger away from him.

Kyungsoo raises an eyebrow before folding his hands over his chest and on top of Jongin’s. “You’re just jealous ‘cause you have no one to cuddle with because Chanyeol’s away on a 3-day seminar.”

Baekhyun looks offended as he straightens in his chair. “Am not!”

“Whatever, this is all Sehun’s fault. If you didn’t help them get together, we wouldn’t be suffering from this—from this day to day soap of poorly written gay romances!” Luhan whines and pokes his lover on the shoulder rather harshly.

Sehun splutters incoherently. “Wh-what? My fault? But you gave me the idea to help them!”

The couple continues bickering and soon the whole table is arguing about Kyungsoo and Jongin’s severe skinship sans the two of them.

Jongin is chuckling as he cuddles his smaller lover, closer to him, content with the warmth seeping into him from Kyungsoo’s back.

“Babe.”

“Mm?”

“I love our friends.”

“I know, I loved them first.”
