It was finally that time of the year. “SUMMER BREAK!” I screamed as I spun around in front of Seoul High. Students that passed by, stared at me as if I was crazy. Laughing Saerom slid her arm around my neck.

“You ready for a nice get away?”

“Uhm, is that a trick question?” I asked with a frown.

With a shake of her head, Saerom pushed me towards a waiting car. Once we arrived at a small café, Saerom and I ordered our drinks before taking a seat near the windows. It was a beautiful day, and not a single fluffy cloud hung in the sky. Tomorrow my family and Kai’s would be heading over to Jeju Island for a week, and to say I was excited was an understatement.

Taking a drink from my Frappe, I gazed out at the busy street. Couple walked by whilst holding hands and sharing secret kisses. Smiling I couldn’t help but see an image of Kai and I. shocked by the sudden thought that entered my mind, I shook my head.

“You okay Minah?” Saerom asked with a frown.

“H-Huh? Oh yeah just a brain freeze.” Laughing I quickly took a sip of my drink. Laughing Saerom shook her head. “You sure you weren’t thinking about your soon to be husband, kai?”
