Eunhyuk is in the kitchen making lunch boxes for Sora and him.

“These look so yummy! I’m gonna eat happy today!” Eunhyuk said. 

Flashback ~

“Aren’t you gonna eat lunch?” Eunhyuk asked.

“I’m a eating a banana. This is my lunch. Wae? You want some monkey?” Eunmi asked.

End of Flashback ~

“Monkey? Do I really look like a monkey?” Eunhyuk asked himself.

Flashback ~

“Ne. Specially your ears. They’re soo big!!” Eunmi said.

End ~

“My ears?” Eunhyuk said touching his ears. “They’re not that big.” 

“……”

“Banana? That’s her lunch? Is she on a diet or something?” Eunhyuk wondered.

“Hyukie, why you talking to yourself?” Sora asked entering the kitchen.

“Nothing.” Eunhyuk said. “Here’s your lunch box.” He handed her the lunch box. 

“Komapta! My dongsaeng is the best cook in the whole world! Can you make the lunch boxes tomorrow too?” Sora asked. 

“Aniyo. You make them. It’s your turn.” Eunhyuk said.

Note: Eunhyuk and Sora take turns doing the household like making lunch boxes, washing the dishes, cooking breakfast and dinner, and etc.

“Wae? You’re the best cook in the world!” Sora praised Eunhyuk.

“I know. But you’re still making our lunch tomorrow.” Eunhyuk said. 

“Arraso. I’m leaving now. See you later.” Sora said.

“Ne. Annyong.” Eunhyuk said washing his hands.

Sora left and Eunhyuk dressed in his school uniform.

He passed the kitchen and was about to go walk to school. But he went back into the kitchen and made another lunch box.

“Eunhyuk, I heard you got a new tutor. And this time, she didn’t quit after the first tutoring.” One of Eunhyuk’s classmates said.

“Ne.” Eunhyuk said. 

“She pretty?” he asked.

“Bwuh?” Eunhyuk said.

“Your tutor, she pretty?” Eunhyuk’s classmate asked.

“Why don’t you find out for yourself.” Eunhyuk said. 

“Really? How?” his classmate asked.

“Go look for her sitting under some trees on the yard.” Eunhyuk said.

“Go with me.” his classmate said.

“Wae?” Eunhyuk said. 

“Introduce me to her.” he said.

“Fine. Let’s go.” Eunhyuk said standing up from his seat.

“That’s her.” Eunhyuk said pointing at Eunmi from a distance. 

“Song Eunmi? She’s your tutor?” asked Eunhyuk’s classmate.

“Ne.” Eunhyuk answered.

“Waa. She is pretty. Just like they said in the rumors. She’s smart too.” Eunhyuk’s classmate said.

“Pretty? Smart?” asked Eunhyuk. 

“Ne. She’s the genius here at school.” said his classmate.

“Genius huh?” said Eunhyuk.

“Mhmm….But I heard that she’s pretty boring.” said his classmate.

“You could say that.” said Eunhyuk.

“I gotta go now. I’m going out for lunch.” said his classmate.

“Kay.” Eunhyuk said.

“You wanna go with me?” asked his classmate.

“Aniyo. I have my own lunch.” Eunhyuk replied.

“Okay. See ya!” his classmate said walking away. 

“………..I’m hungry…..” Eunhyuk opened his bag and found his lunch box with the other one he made before he went to school.

He walked closer to Eunmi and found her sleeping.

“This girl sleeps anywhere.” he said.

He took out one lunch box from his bag and placed it beside Eunmi.

He also put a note saying, “Have you eaten lunch yet? If not, here. Eat this. Return the lunch box to the boy’s locker room.” 

Eunhyuk left and looked for a place to eat his lunch. 

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Eunhyuk just came back from P.E.

He went to the boy’s locker room to change.

He found the lunch box that he gave Eunmi on top of his locker.

Eunhyuk opened it to see if she ate. The lunch box was clean and empty. 

Inside it was a note saying, “Thank you for the meal!” 

At the back of the note, “P.S.Tutoring has been canceled.”

“How did she know it was me? Wasn’t she sleeping?” Eunhyuk wondered. “Tutoring has been canceled. Yes!”

“Yobeoseyo?” Eunhyuk answered his phone. 

“Eunhyuk, I’m not gonna be able to go home tonight.” Sora said.

“Wae?” Eunhyuk asked.

“There is a patient that needs a surgery for about 6 hours. All the other nurses already went home. I have to stay.” Sora explained.

“You going to sleep there?” Eunhyuk asked. 

“Aniyo. I can’t sleep. Doctor Park needs help.” Sora said.

“Didn’t you work last night too?” Eunhyuk said.

“Ne. But tomorrow will be a day off for me.” Sora said. “Just cook your own dinner. Oh and tutoring has been canceled.”

“Wae?” Eunhyuk asked. 

“Because Eunmi had to go somewhere. She’ll be back by 7 but she might be tired so I canceled it today.” Sora said.

“That’s okay. No tutoring means no homework for me!” Eunhyuk said.

“Ya, do at least half of your homework.” Sora said.”

“Aniyo.” Eunhyuk said. 

“Fine. Okay, I gotta go. Good night!” Sora said.

“Ne. Annyong.” Eunhyuk said.

“Annyong!” Sora said then she hung up.

“I’m hungry. I better cook my dinner.” Eunhyuk said heading to the kitchen. 

While Eunhyuk was cooking his dinner, he heard a door close.

“She must be home.” Eunhyuk said.

An hour later, while Eunhyuk was eating dinner, Eunmi’s fire alarm went on.

“A fire?” Eunhyuk wondered. 

He went to the window and opened it. He peaked at Eunmi’s window.

Her window was closed and blurry, but Eunhyuk could see that Eunmi’s whole apartment was filled with smoke.

Eunhyuk immediately ran out the door and knocked on Eunmi’s door.

She wasn’t answering and the alarm kept on going. Eunhyuk couldn’t wait anymore so he kicked the door opened.

The door smashed into big pieces and fell on the ground. Eunhyuk ignored that and went in the gray apartment.

Eunhyuk looked around the living room to search for Eunmi.

“The kitchen.” Eunhyuk said.

He ran to the kitchen and found half the room on fire.

“Eunmi!” Eunhyuk shouted.

“Eunmi!” Eunhyuk called again. *cough, cough*

Eunhyuk tried to look for Eunmi, but the smoke was getting into his eyes.

Suddenly, Eunhyuk saw something on the ground.

Eunhyuk walked closer and found Eunmi unconscious on the ground.

“Eunmi! Wake up!” Eunhyuk shouted.

He carried Eunmi out of the burning apartment and called the fire station.

Eunmi woke up and sat up forgetting what had happened.

“Why am I here?” she asked. 

“Your apartment burned down. I went in there and got you.” Eunhyuk said.

“What? That wasn’t just a dream?” Eunhmi said.

“A dream? You wish.” Eunhyuk said.

“This is bad. Where am I gonna stay now?” Eunmi asked herself.

“Noona said you could stay here.” Eunhyuk said.

“Sora unni?” Eunmi said.

“Ne. I called her and she said to let you stay here. She’ll be home tomorrow.” Eunhyuk said.

“My things…..” Eunmi said sadly. 

“What caused the fire anyway?” Eunhyuk asked.

“Well….I-I was cooking…..but…” Eunmi said.

“But?” Eunhyuk asked.

“I can’t cook.” Eunmi said. 

“Mwuh?” Eunhyuk said laughing.
